"hey mommy I got you something" my son aru said holding a bunch of flowers. He had green hair tied up in a manbun.

"aww thanks baby" I said kissing him on the forehead "I'll put these in a special vase"

I pulled out a vase, wrapped a purple ribbon round it and put the flowers inside.

"yay!" aru said clapping her hands delightedly.

"I'm back" rantaro called walking into the room.

"daddy!" aru yelled running excitedly to her father.

"hey darling" he said scooping her up in his arms. He looked over at the vase "where'd you get these flowers honey?" he asked me.

"aru brought them in for me" I said.

"he did?" he gasped "aru there beautiful! Where'd you find them?"

"that's a secret" he said putting her finger to his lips.

I couldn't help but laugh at her. God my kids cute!
