Shuichis pov

I walked to the dining hall to meet up with keade. Our big plan was supposed to be set in motion today. While I was walking there I noticed rantaro heading to the library.

I immediately got a bad feeling. Like something bad would happen if I let him go.

"wait rantaro" I said grabbing his sleeve.

"hmm. Is something the matter shuichi?" rantaro asked.

"I- I know it sounds silly but I have a bad feeling about you going to the library so could you please come with me to the dining hall instead?"

He stared at me for a bit "well if it makes you feel better then I'll postpone my trip to the library"

"thank you" I smiled in relief.

Little did I know that very act saved rantaros life.
