IN WHICH the 3rd task begins

A new viewing stadium was set up, as crowds of students rush through their dinner for the excitement

Harry is with the other champions, as the champion's parents slowly file into the room saved for the Champions and family.  

It seems as if Harry was alone, yet again, until a familiar bob of brown hair swept in the room, along with Aubery and Professor Lupin, and a big, shaggy black dog. 

"Harry!" Roselie smiles at her nephew, before giving him two kisses on the cheek. "We're so proud of you."

"You guys are really here!" Harry smiles, as Aubery rolls her eyes.

"Of course we're here dipshit, we're your family, like it or not." Aubery scoffs. 

"Aubery! 'Arry!" Fleur smiles, drifting over to the small family. "Is this your family?"

"Yeah." Harry nods. "I think you know them?" 

"Nice dog Harry!" Cedric smiles, as Amos and Rosie smile at each other, and Amos and Remus shake hands, although it was rather strained. 

"Thanks. His name is, er, Snuffles!" Harry says, side-eying Sirius, who glared at Harry, paced in a circle, and flopped down on the floor, no doubt cursing James and Lily for their idiot of a son. 

Viktor Krum and his family sat in their designated corner, not really talking with anyone, but Viktor soon found the courage to start chatting good-naturally with the others.

"Harry, if you vant, maybe ve can meet up over the summer and play Quidditch. The First Task, I was quite impressed." Viktor says.

"Of course, if Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon would allow me," Harry says. "Which is probably no. They're Muggles, and very er, non-accepting of magic."

"Well, if Harry does come over this summer, I'll be sure to have Harry come over," Remus says, which made Viktor brighten up. 

"How about adding another talented player in this?" Amos suggests, motioning to Cedric.

"Dad, you know these are really good players right?" Cedric mutters, slightly embarrassed. 

"It is no problem, I see no reason to not let anyone join in on Quidditch fun." Viktor answers. 

"Brilliant! See Cedric, all ya had to do was ask!" Amos says. 

"Alright, alright," Cedric mutters, slightly blushing.

"The Weasleys are also in the crowd, but they only allowed blood-members of the family in," Aubery informs Harry before beginning to engage in a chat with Fleur and Gabrielle about Beauxbatons. 

"We 'ave 3 houses, Bellefeuille, my house, Ombrelune, and Papillonlisse. Bellefeuille is the house of the brave and loyal, which is... what is ze word? Symbolisé... Ah yes, symbolized by 5 leaves! Zen Ombrelune, the smart house, but they are also quite cunning and ambitious. They are symbolized by ze moon. Papillonlisse is the kind and mature house. They are symbolized by a papillon, a butterfly on a leaf." Fleur explains. 

"Yeah! The Sorting Ceremony is where you shoot a silver arrow across ze room, in which seconds later, there are sparkles which indicate which house you are in. Blue for Ombrelune, Purple for Papillionlisse, and Green for Bellefeuille. I'm from Ombrelune!" Gabrielle continues. 

"Wow. That must sound so cool!" Aubery smiles.

"Indeed it is." Fleur smiles. "Alas, it is my last year. I will miss the halls."

Professor Moody walks into the room. 

"Come on, champions and family out before the others are in their seats. And no dogs allowed!" Moody glares at Sirius, who barks back. 

Dumbledore walks in the room. "Alastor, perhaps you may escort this dog to my office, along with dear Rosie." 

Mad-Eye walks out, along with Sirius and Roselie. They return soon, and Dumbledore and Moody escort the champions and their families at the start of the maze, as crowds soon flood the stadium, cheering for their favorite champions. 

Dumbledore raises his hand, stopping anymore cheers. "Earlier today Professor Moody placed the Tri-Wizard cup deep within the maze. Only he knows its exact position. Now as Mr. Diggory..." Dumbeldore starts, as the crowd cheer on hearing his name. "And Mr. Potter tied for first position they will be the first to enter the maze. Followed by Mr. Krum, and Miss Delacour." 

The Bulgarian crowd goes nuts at the mention of Viktor. 

"The first person to touch the cup will be the winner. I've instructed the staff to patrol the perimeter, if at any point should a contestant wish to withdraw from the task he or she need only send up red sparks with their wands. Contestants gather round." Dumbledore orders, as the champions go close to Dumbledore, before nodding and going back to their families. 

"Champions! Prepare yourselves." Moody orders. 

Cedric hugs his father. Fleur and Gabrielle hug, along with their parents, Viktor and his parents hug as well.

"Stay safe Harry," Aubery says, hugging Harry, then Rosie and Remus.

"Your parents would be proud," Remus says, and Roselie nods.

"On the count of three... one!" Dumbledore says. 

The cannon goes off. Mr. Filch shrugs comically. Dumbledore groans. Harry and Cedric enter the maze through different entrances, later Viktor enters, and Fleur is last to go in. 

"You better stay safe in there Harry," Aubery mutters. 

A long hour passes by, and suddenly Fleur Delacour appears, accompanied by Professor McGonagall, shaking. Her family takes her in their arms, as the Beauxbatons mourns the loss, at the same time as Drumstrang and Hogwarts were cheering wildly for Harry, Cedric, and Viktor. 

"It was Krum! He attacked me!" Fleur frantically cries. "I do not know what has 'appened to him!"

Mr. and Mrs. Krum both look scandalized, but as soon as Fleur was calmed down Viktor Krum appears with Professor Flitwick, rubbing his head. 

"Someone had Imperiused him!" Flitwick says.

Madam Pomfrey attends to Viktor, as Remus and Rosie's eyes narrow. 

"Mom, Dad, something's terribly wrong," Aubery says. 

"It's fine, I'm sure it's nothing. The Ministry's got this under control." Roselie soothes, but inside, she was really doubting herself. 

"May the best win eh?" Amos asks Rosie, holding out a hand, smiling. Roselie takes the hand half-heartedly. "What's wrong?"

"Something bad. I feel like something bad's happening." Roselie whispers, making Amos' eyes widen. "Don't tell anyone, much less make them panic."

Amos nods, the two Ministry officials staring at Cornelius Fudge, who was chatting with Dumbledore. 

Harry suddenly appears with Cedric's body. The crowd doesn't understand what has taken place and they all cheer, triumphant music starts to play. Harry weeps on Cedric's body, as Fleur finally takes notice of what has happened, and screams, stopping everyone.

"Harry! Harry!" Dumbledore tries to pry Harry from Cedric's body as the parents look on in horror. "Tell me what happened!"

"He's back, he's back! Voldemort's back. Cedric, he asked me to bring his body back. I couldn't leave him, not there." Harry cries, past gasps for air. 

"It's alright Harry. It's alright, he's home, you both are." Dumbledore consoles. 

"Harry. Harry, what happened?" Aubery whimpers, staring at Cedric's empty eyes, once so full of life.

"He's back." Harry chokes out. 

Aubery stares at Harry. "What do you mean Harry?"

"He's back." Harry repeats, and Aubery freezes. 

He's back. 

Who's he? 

Oh no. 

Voldemort. 

"Keep everybody in their seats. A boy has just been killed. The body must be moved Dumbledore, there are... too many people." Fudge orders. 

"Let me through! That's my son! My boy!" Amos breaks down wailing. The crowd look on distraught, as Moody ushers Harry away. 

"It's gonna be okay little fox. Everything will turn out alright." Remus mutters, holding Aubery close. "Everything's going to be alright."

"Dad, what's going on?" Aubery questions, still confused.  

"It's fine, everything's fine." Remus consoles, patting his daughter's hair.

"Dad?" Aubery questions. 

Roselie runs out, following Moody and Harry, along with Dumbledore, McGonagall, and Snape. 

Cedric's body is removed from the scene, as the other teachers usher the students out, as Remus and Aubery go wait in the hospital wing, along with Mrs. Weasley, Bill, Ron, and Hermione, as the others left for the Gryffindor Common Room. 

Later, Harry walks in, along with Roselie, Dumbledore, and Snuffles, or Sirius. 

"Harry, what's going on?" Hermione questions.

"I'm sorry Miss Granger, but Harry has been through a terrible ordeal tonight, and he has just relayed the details to me. Right now he needs rest." Dumbledore explains. 

Molly Weasley turned to the others. "He needs rest, so don't you go bothering him!" As if Hermione, Ron, Bill, Aubery, and Remus were bouncing off the walls, screaming. 

Roselie helped Harry over to a hospital cot. 

"Professor Dumbledore, the dog-" Madam Pomfrey says.

"This dog is very well-trained and will be with Harry," Dumbledore says, before leaving the room. "Rosie, I believe Cornelius requires our presence."

"Professor, with all due respect-" Roselie starts.

"It's alright Rosie, you go. I'll watch over Harry, and do you think that Remus isn't a capable adult?" Molly put a hand on Roselie's shoulder reassuringly, as Remus looked offended. 

"Yeah, you're right Molly, thank you." Roselie smiles, then kisses Harry on the forehead, then Aubery, then Remus. "Take care, everyone."
