Luckily, vacation's coming soon.
Then I'll go back to Wakanda for a while to train.
Most of all, I'll miss Grandma and Peter.
I know that he'll stay loyal to Tony, otherwise I would ask him to come with me. He'll spend his time with Stark, like I'll do with Cap and the others.

A few days later

Lost in thought, I'm sitting in a café with Grandma.
"Are you okay, darling?", she asks suddenly, putting down her cup.
"Yeah, I'm okay", I say.
"If you have something, please tell me", she says, which makes me smile.
"It's all great", I say and suddenly hear a crack. It's too quiet for anyone to notice.

It comes from the woods.
"Sorry Grandma, I have to go", I say and get up.
"Where are you going?", she asks.
"I have to do something", I say and run out of the café. I quickly make my way into the forest.

I expected to find some criminals there, but there's just one girl.
"What are you doing here?", I just ask, whereupon she looks at me startled.
"Hey, I won't hurt you", I say calmly.
"What's your name?", I ask, after she calms down.
"Cai ... Chén Cai", she says softly.

"I'm Amanda.
Why are you here in the woods?", I ask.
"I had to flee", she says with a strong accent.
Only now I notice the hole in the ground behind her.
"Did you do that?", I ask, to which she nods shyly.
"You're an inhuman, right?", she nods again.
"You too?", she asks and appears more open-minded.
I nod smiling.
"Can you tell me what happened?", I ask, she starts to look around uncertainly.
"Let's go to a place where you're safe", I say.

Shortly after we sit on a couch in my brother's apartment.
I know that's not really a good idea, but he's the only Inhuman I know.
"So what happened?", Blake asks and joins us.

"The night, I was sleeping, strangers invaded our house and killed my family.
They kidnapped me, but a group of Inhumans rescued me and took me to an underground city.
There they explained what my mother was, what I am and why I was kidnapped.
Then the leader let me go through the Terrigenesis.
I stayed there for a while, learned how to control my powers. But one day I heard the leader talking about uniting all the Inhuman groups and declare war on the human", I look at her shocked as she continues to talk.
"Immediately I set out with some members to find a better place for us to live.
We were ambushed, the survivors ran into the woods.
I was surrounded by opponents, but then caused a crack in the ground and jumped inside. Then you found me in the forest", she says.

"What kind of powers do you have?", I ask in confusion.
"I can control the elements, but also metal", she says.
"Wow!", I say in amazement.

Early afternoon

I wrote a message to Steve and asked him to pick her up and bring her to S.H.I.E.L.D.
With them she'll hopefully be safe.
"Text me please", I say as we stand in front of the jet.
"I will, thank you Amanda", she says and gets in.

Two hours later

Slowly, I walk through the Central Park. When it suddenly starts to rain, I sit down in the pavilion.
"Hey, nice weather, right?", someone asks and takes a seat next to me.
"Yeah, great", I say and hear him laugh.
"What did you do today?", Peter looks at me smiling.
"Was hanging around with Grandma and then met an Inhuman in the forest", I say.
"An Inhuman?", he asks.
"Yes, she came from China and needed help, now she's gone", I say.
"And what did you do today?", I ask.
"I went to Ned because of the homework", he says.
"I totally forgot".
"I can help you if you want", he offers.
"That would be nice, thanks Peter", I say and walk with him in the direction of the subway station.
"But only if we go to the movies afterwards", he says with a grin.
"Sure, but I choose the movie".
"Oh no", he says.
"Don't worry, this time it won't be a horror movie"  I say.
"Then I'm really relieved", I hear him say and start laughing.

Now we continue our way.
