I got out of the hospital wing the next day. I walked into the common room to be greeted by a dress held out by Annabeth. It was sleeveless, red with pink frills, and had hearts scattered across the dress. She also had red high heels, and a little black sweater. I gagged slightly at the girlyness.

"You're wearing the dress for the dance. Get upstairs and change.", She said with a smile, pushing me up the steps.  I hated to admit it, but I actually looked good! 

   Once I went back downstairs, Emily had a flat iron, hairdryer, and a brush in her hand.  Wow, she came all the way to my common room to torture me.  How nice.  My eyes widened and I TRIED to reach the door.  I feel flat on my face thanks to the heels. The power of Emily, Annabeth and Vava were barely enough to get me in a seat tie me up and knock me unconscious. 

   Waking up to a flat iron on your head, after having a sleeping charm cast on you, is far more painful than any cut Fernando gave me.  They finished and my hair was *shudders* straight!  I realized that Emily wasn't ready so we attacked her. The time for the dance had come so we walked to the Lobby which happily had a buffet.

"Well I'll see you later", I trailed off sprinting to the table.

   During the three hours of me devouring all the food at the buffet (thank guava juice for house elves), I was asked about 468 times to dance with Albus's brother, James, Emily's brother, Scorpio, and some guy from Slytherin named Luke. Luke had this look to him like he thought he was Mr. I'm-A-Little-Brat. He wore this leather jacket, these black jeans, a blue shirt, and white vans.  (You get a shoutout if you get the reference. There's two).

About 15 minutes before the dance, Emily beeline to the bathroom. I was worried after she didn't come back for 14 minutes and was going to look for her when Luke said in a "seductive" tone while flipping his hair,"Hey baby, wanna dance?"

I was at my wits end. "Look here buddy,", I said tired of his attitude,"I don't wanna a do this but if I dance with you ONE TIME, will you leave me alone?"

"Sure, but you'll coming BEGGING for more."

"F*ck off!"

"And now it is time for dancing, please select your partner and let the party begin!" The announcer said sickeningly happy.

Luke and I went on the dance floor along with a bunch of other people. "This dance is to 'Time to Say Goodbye'."

I knew the song and smirked. This was gonna be fun.

Luke was twirling me across the floor making people move out of the way. I had to admit he was a good dancer. The way he dipped me was amazing. I looked over his shoulder and I saw Fernando holding a shattered glass in his hand with his mouth wide open. Serves him right for what he did to me. My favorite part of the song was coming on so I sang along.

   We spun around quite a lot.  As the song progressed Luke hoisted me up by my hips, lifting me up.  He was a very good dancer.  He put me down and we looked each other on the eyes.  There was something between us but I had no idea what it was.  Shaking this feeling off he lifted me up again.  The minute he put me down Fernando ran over and started punching like in the face.  Looking at them in horror I started beating Fernando up as I sand the next lyrics.

   The song ended with a bartered Fernando on the floor and Luke standing closer than I would normally allow.  The two of us leaned in closer and closer until we were breathing the same air.  Fernando was gaping in horror and then Luke and I shared a kiss.  It was my first, but it was full of passion.  We pulled away only when I heard a screen coming from the girl's bathroom.

I ran towards the sound seeing her sister standing over a passed out Emily grinning evilly. Her wand was raised as she prepared to kill her sister.

"Hey!", I shouted hoping to divert her attention, I succeeded to say the least.

She turned toward me and her grin grew. "So your this Amanda Hedge I've heard SOOO much about. How equally...underwhelming."

"Hey, back off!", I retorted.

"Just as I've heard. Feisty! However this will be the end of you. Too bad no one has come to save you. Oh well. Prepare to die!"

She ran at me and I defended myself the best way I could.

"Jelly-leg Jinx!"

She collapsed and gaped as the teachers ran in behind me to collect the two girls. I explained to them what happened and they nodded. I ran back to the dance and into Luke's arms. Cheesy I know.

"What happened?", he asked full of concern. I explained in full detail, but was not prepared for what happend the next day.

I have a good reason for not updating. My phone got stolen and my iPad was taken away. Right now I'm on my sister's. This book will be getting SLOW UPDATES UNTIL I GET MY IPAD BACK!!! Thank you for understanding.
