I can't explain why but a part of me really wanted to leave my father behind. I mean. It would be like before, not knowing him or ever seeing him. Then yet, he is my father and even though I can't be certain that it was my mother who beat me because of my memory loss.

"Dad, I need to talk to you" I said walking into the room he was in. He was hanging around a table with a bunch of his buddies doing something that is the least of my problems.

He got up and walked out of the room with me. He crossed his arms and leaned up again the wall. "What wrong?"

"I-" I couldn't get myself to spit it out. It was stuck in the back of my throat, like a big lump that was permanent

"Your going back aren't you?" His arms dropped and so did his expression. I looked up at him and tears started forming in my eyes.

"I'm sorry. It's just- theirs friend of mine waiting for me." He walked up to me and wiped my tears away and smiled.

"I understand"

"You do?" I'm glad

He grabbed onto my wrist and attached something around it. "So you don't forget me" it was a hand made bracelet made from leather with a charm attacked to it.

( a/n: just because I figured out how to randomly add picture on chapter! SICK AS FUCK.. but yeah that's the bracelet.. duh)

I examined the bracelet more and admired it. "Did you make this?"

"With a little help, yeah" he smiled

Without realizing I hugged him. It felt good though. I don't remember the last time I hugged him. The last time I had a father in my life. It was truly something special. "Love you dad"

He hugged me back and patted my head. "You know where to find me if you ever want to see me" he let go and looked at my face. With his thumb, he wipes away the tears and kissed me on the forehead. "Love you too"

"You ready?" Mitsuhide asked as we started to walk out of the village. I look at him, smiled and nodded. He grabbed my hand and we started walking out of the forest.

"Y/n wait!" I turned around and saw Kou running up to us. "I- I just wanted to say goodbye" he said catching his breath

"It wasn't long meeting you but I - I just hope you don't forget us. We are your family here and you know where to find us if anything happens" our eyes met, his were shattered with pain.

"I will Kou" I hugged him and he hugged me back.

I waved to him goodbye and we made our way out of the forest.

"Who was that guy?" Mitsuhide asked not even looking at me

"Jealous are we?" I mockingly said. His facial expression didn't change meaning he was. "Mitsuhide look"

He turned his head and our eyes met. I raised our hand With fingers entwined together. "I'm holding your hand. Not his. Yours"

The facial expression he had was gone and a smile appeared on his face. He squeezed my hand and we kept walking. "Let get out of here"
