"Y/n" a deep voice spoke.

Mitsuhide and I parted and looked towards the voice.  A tall boy, probably around my age, stood before us.

"Yeah?" I said and turned toward him. "Who are you?"

"You seriously don't remember me?" He spoke and took a step forward.

I stepped back, and hit Mitsuhide. He placed his hand in my shoulder. "No I don't"

"It's Yato, Yato Harp" he awkwardly smiled

Yato Harp..........

Flashback •••

It was summer time, and I had just celebrated my 13th birthday. It was a very happy day for all of us.... or so we thought

"Y/n" Yato said running up to me

"Hey Yato!" I waved to him as he came up to me.

"Y/n I found this cool tunnel, you should come and see it" he grabbed my hand and lead me towards the tunnel

Yato and I have been friends since we were 5 and he's been the only friend I ever had.

We walked into a forest and saw a tunnel covered in leaves.

"I don't think this is a good idea" I said backing up. His hand tightened on mine and he pulled me forwards.

"Common it's not that bad, I already went in" he started walking forward and into the tunnel. I let go of his hand and stood my ground.

"I'm not going in" I said in a serious tone

"Fine, I'll go in a check it out then if it's fine you should come" with that he walked into the dark tunnel

That was the last time I saw him

End of flashback•••

"Yato" As i said his name and the memories came back. My eyes became wet and tears started falling down my face. He smiled and opened his arms. I ran into his arms and hugged him.

"I'm so happy you remember me " he said hugging me.

"Where the hell have you been? What happened to you that day?" I slapped him. People stopped and stared. I mean I did just slap him.

He rubbed his cheek "I deserved that"

"Everything okay here?" Mitsuhide asked walking up to us.

"Yeah, we just have some things to catch up on" I said with annoyance

Mitsuhide must have seen my expression because he grabbed my hand and squeezed it. I smiled at him.

"Okay I'll tell you everything" Yato finally spoke up.

The three of us went to a quiet table and sat down. Mitsuhide sat beside me, while Yato sat across from me

"Where do you want me to starts?" He asked.

"From the day you disappeared" I bacicly screamed.

"Okay... when we went to the tunnel, I thought I was alone. I knew you were outside but I never thought that someone was inside with me. After I woke up from being hit on the head, I- I saw someone I didn't think I'd see." He looked away from me "y/n, your father was the man who kidnapped me"

My jaw dropped, how could my father do something like this to my friend. I understand that he beat on my mom and me but why my closets friend?

"He told me it was suppose to be you, not me" he looked up at me. His eyes were watery.

"You don't need to continue" I said grabbing his hand. "If it's to hard for you I get it"

"No... I'm okay" he took his hand back. "After a few mouth, he let me walk around freely but I had to stay within his eye view, so I couldn't leave. Once I found out about you and your mom. I tried running away and going back to the village but your dad kept me from doing that." He took a pause.

"That night I ran away from him and made my way back to the village but by time I got there, you were gone"

"I'm sorry." I said looking down. I should have stayed in the village. But I didn't. And I'm not sure why I didn't stay

We were all silent. Only the sound of laughter and people were around us.

"Y/n! Mitsuhide!" We heard people yell

Shirayuki, Zen, Obi and Kiki walked up to us. They had smiles on their faces, until they looked over at Yato

"Hey guys" I said getting up.

"Who's that y/n?" Zen asked

"A old friend"
