Chapter 12
"I am here to kill you."
Pringle sat in his bed, staring at the ceiling. He struggled against the restraints that kept him in bed. The nurses had to strap him down in order to stitch him up. Also at night he tried to leave, sick of just moping in bed. He sighed, thinking about what Hellbent said a few minutes ago. The image flashed in his head again.
"The past is behind us...all of the past." Pringle muttered to himself. He couldn't believe those words. Ever since Dolan and Hellbent moved here at the Freshmen year, those words were not true.
Although he hated to say it, Pringle was in love. Not with a girl mind you but a boy, Hellbent to be exact.
He couldn't help it, he was lost in his golden eyes. He crisom red skin. Even his hair was so charming.
At first Pringle watched Hellbent from a distance. Awkwardly 'stalking' him. To be truthful I was scared. Scared Hellbent would reject him on the spot. But it wasn't that long before Hellbent noticed.
"Are you following me?"
Pringle stopped in his tracks and turned to see Hellbent, his back pressed against a nearby locker. Dolan stood awkwardly next to him.
"Well? Answer me." Hellbent said flatly. Dolan bumped Hellbent with his elbow.
"Be nice." Dolan said as he stepped in front of Hellbent. "Mt name is Danger Dolan. And that's my brother Hellbent." He stuck out his hand for him to shake.
"P-Pringle." Pringle stuttered, shaking Dolan's hand.
Since that day, he soon found Dolan was becoming more and more popular and soon was around Hellbent less. Pringle hung out with them alot. He finally felt welcome around Hellbent after a few weeks.
Surprisingly enough, Dolan and Hellbent lived not too far from his own house. So he began regular visits.
Everything was fine until everything went horribly wrong. Any freindship has it's downsides.
Pringle walked home with Dolan.
"Have you seen Hellbent lately?" Pringle asked, turning to Dolan.
Dolan shook his head. "Not really. He has been hanging out with this Dan person. He is pretty rude if you ask me."
Pringle nodded and thought that over. "Dan...Dan..." Where has he heared that name before? He dropped off Dolan then began walking to his own home. "Dan..." He stopped walking, lost in thought. He dug into his backpack and pulled out a yearbook. "Dan...Dan..." He scanned the book until he got to last year. "Daniel Stardust..." There he was. "Captain of the football team. 20xx to.....20xx?" A captain of the football team can't be fired in the same year...can they?
Pringle got up and started rushing back to school.
He made it to the entrance of the school before he heared a sudden shuffling. He ducked behind the bench and looked forward. A flash of red and a black coat rushed inside. Pringle raised a eyebrow and slowly followed.
This figure soon became more and more distant as it walked down to the schools basement. Pringle crept along the wall before watching the figure disappear down the basement stairs.
"Who is that?" Pringle thought as he leaned over and caught a sudden smell of something rotting. He clapped a hand over his nose and gagged.
After a little while of just gagging and resenting the smell, he started walking down to the basement floor.
There was a errie clicking noise and a sudden ripping flesh noise that made Pringle almost barf. There was a muffled conversation that became more clear as Pringle went on.
"It's all your fault..." A familiar hushed voice hissed. Pringle turned a corner to see the back of a hooded figure. It was barely visable but a fresh bleeding body lied on the floor, pale white and stuck in a surpised expression. Pringle couldn't see who this hooded figure was talking to as he squinted into the darkness. The hooded figure grabbed his hood and slowly pulled it down. "It's all your fault."
"HA-HELLBENT" Pringle gasped in surprise, shaking.
Hellbent spun around to see Pringle. The body was in full view now. "Pringle no! I-It's not what it looks like-" Hellbent couldn't finish before Pringle bolted back upstairs.
He ran like he never has before. He burst through the main doors and could hear Hellbent shout, "WAIT!"
"Lies...all lies!!" Pringle hissed as he ran back toward his home frantically. Hellbent...
Hellbent why?
I trusted....you...
....
Pringle snapped back to reality to see Hanna? Hanna leaned over him, a kicten knife pointed at his neck. "Hanna what are-" Hanna pressed her foot on this wound to make him cry out in pain.
"Shut up. I am here to kill you." She hissed pointing the knife in the center of his neck.
Pringle started to panic as he couldn't move, thanks to the restraints. "Now hold still-"
"Uh hey...Me and Shima are gonna go visit Pringle now."
Hanna could overhear Dolan a few rooms down since he had opened the door. "Dolan?" Hanna muttered. Pringle smirked cockily. Hanna growled and shoved a pillow in his mouth. "Not a peep got it?" Hanna warned as she put the jumped off of Pringle. She put the knife behind her back and left the room.
Pringle could hear the muffled voices of Shima, Dolan, and Hanna.
"Uh Dolan-"
"Stay behind me."
"Hello again Dolan~"
