At the Hospital

Doctor : "Mr.Manik! Your Aunty suffers from heart ailments due to age factor. She is in fact in the stage of having cardiac arrest (actually this time, it may be true one😀). So she needs to get admitted in the hospital so that we will carry out all the test needed to be taken"

Supriya frightened : "No, I won't get admitted!"

Doctor : "Madam, it's just for the day time. You can get discharged in the evening after the tests are completed"

Manik :  "It's okay aunty. Please be admitted. I will inform Mom and Dad regarding this. It is my request"

Supriya thought for a while. She thought atleast by this way, Manik and Soha can get together for this day without any interruptions since Nandini was also not at home.

Supriya accepted to get admitted in the Hospital.

When Manik and Soha get out of the Supriya's room, she suggested to him to have coffee with her. Manik too smilingly accepted to have it in the hospital canteen.

They both were walking in the corridor, soha behind Manik admiring him. She still couldn't believe all the happenings since morning.

There was a place they were crossing where no one is there. Suddenly a person came behind Soha and placed chloroform filled hand kerchief on her nose. Soha, who couldn't call out Manik for help inspite of protests, fainted in that man's arms.

Manik stopped in his tracks and turned back. He chucked and left the hospital.

Murthy Villa

Abhimanyu was getting ready for the office when Nandini entered the Villa.

As soon as he saw Nandini, he ran towards her and quickly engulfed her in a hug.

Few seconds later, he released Nandini from the hug and kissed her on the forehead.

Abhimanyu caressing her hair :  "How are you baby doll? I miss you very much"

Nandini smilingly : "I am fine bhai. I too miss you and papa very much"

Mukthi who was standing in the corner of the living room watching the emotions of brother and sister came in the scene and cleared her throat :  "It seems like some one has forgotten me. I know I may not be missed"

Mukthi faked some tears.

Nandini ran and hugged Mukthi :  "I indeed missed you too Mukthi. You are very precious to me to forget"

Abhimanyu smiled at them.

Raman while descending the stairs saw Mukthi and Nandini hugging (crushing) each other.

Nandini lifted her head and saw Raman in stairs who is having a stone face.

Nandini went near him and bent to touch his feet to get blessings. Raman immediately pulled Nandini and hugged her, kissed her head"

Raman smilingly :  "How are you princess? It seems that you have forgotten me and your brother. Started to become a sincere bahu? huh? "

Nandini's eyes welled up with tears as she shook her head in No.

Raman with tears in his eyes : "But please do visit this papa often princess. Otherwise , I will not feel good"

Nandini  happily nodded her head.

Raman took her to the Sofa and sat near her still keeping her in his embrace.

Mukthi came with tea and placed it before her.

Mukthi happily :  "How are you Nandini? How is everyone doing there? I have not contacted anyone after Abhimanyu and myself came from our honeymoon. Infact Abhimanyu and I decided to visit you all tomorrow."

Nandini smilingly :  "I am fine Mukthi. All are doing well."

Abhimanyu :  "Nandini! Where is Manik?"

Nandini became silent on this question but managed to smile :  "He went to office bhai. Seems he cannot take day off today. But I cannot wait to see you all. So I came here by myself"

Raman chuckled :  "It's okay beta. You can come here anytime. Don't hesitate"

Abhimanyu decided to take day off inspite of Nandini's continuous requests. He got his baby doll back for a day. How could he miss it?

After talking for sometime, Raman went to take rest due to old age. Mukthi is in the kitchen who is now assisted by maids for cooking lunch.

Abhimanyu looking at Nandini :  "Ok baby doll. Now spill it out!"

Nandini confusingly :  "What bhai?"

Abhimanyu :  "Why are you sad? what happened ?  I promise I will not ask Manik unless it is an issue for me to step in. But please tell me even if there is any small issue with Manik or his family. I need to protect you forever. For that I need you to open up to me"

Nandini hesitated for a second but told Abhimanyu everything.

Abhimanyu on hearing everything comforted her saying sweet nothings though he had an urge to discuss this matter with Manik.

They released themselves from the Hug when they heard the door bell.

They both turned to see Manik standing there.  Nandini on seeing him excused herself and went to the kitchen.

Manik chuckled at her. Manik and Abhimanyu exchanged pleasantries

Though Abhimanyu wanted to talk to Manik about Nandini, but he decided to let them face their issues when he saw Manik at the door step .

Kitchen

Nandini cleared her throat : "Can I help you Mukthi?"

Mukthi laughed :  "Ohh! Is the princess of Murthys asking this who never knew how to cook before marriage. I hope mom supports you and not forces you in cooking"

Nandini chuckled :  "Never. Mom supports me and also thought me only the basics in cooking"

Mukthi : "I sincerely appreciate your help. But let me do it. You please go and take rest if you are tired or you talk with Abhimanyu. I will finish it soon"

Nandini thought for a second about Manik who is in the living room :  "No, I better go to my room. Bhai is busy it seems"

Saying this Nandini went away.

Mukthi confusingly : "Abhimanyu busy inspite of Nandini being here? "

She sneaked out of the kitchen to find Manik happily speaking to Abhimanyu. She rushed to Manik and greeted him. Manik hugged Mukthi and asked if she is happy. She nodded her head happily.

Manik then asked about Nandini and then they showed the way to her room, since it is his first time to go there. (Of course formally through front door🤣)

Manik knocked the door. On hearing no reply, he went inside since the door is not locked. Nandini too knew that it is him.

Nandini kept staring outside by standing near her window.

Manik wrapped his hands around her hugging her from backside to which Nandini protested.

But Manik didn't leave her. So Nandini angrily  turned to face him  and started to punch his chest with her hands as much as she can do.

Manik smiled but got hold her hands in his one hand while his other hand is still wrapped around her.

Manik dragged Nandini and fell on the bed with Nandini on top of him. 

Nandini angrily :  "Manik! I really do not have any mood for this. Please leave me. Leave me alone"

Manik chuckled :  "Yes. You are going to leave. But not alone. "

Nandini angrily :  "What the hell are you saying manik? You please go after that soha . You were supposed to be on your date!"

Manik with pleading face :  "I am sorry Nandu. It is really an act that I made in front of soha and her mother. Nothing more. I know you will be hurt. I am sorry. But having no option left, I did it"

Nandini puzzled :  "Act? Why? What for?"

Manik smilingly :  "So that we can leave for our honeymoon in just 1/2 hour. Our flight is scheduled at 3 p.m. So we have to reach airport soon"

(Still they were lying in the bed, ofcourse not so proper position, their legs off the bed but besides each other)

Nandini surprised :  "Honeymoon? But Manik! How can we go just like that? We have to inform everyone!"

Manik smilingly again brought Nandini closer :  " I informed everyone those who are genuinely happy for us. Mom has packed all your things. Even if something missed out, we could buy there"

Nandini became happy and hugged Manik :  "I am so happy Manik. Thank you so much. I am sorry manik for doubting you"

Manik smilingly kissed her forehead :  "It's okay Nandu. I understand"

Manik and Nandini with their hands interlocked got blessing from Raman, and hugs from Abhimanyu and Mukthi, left for the airport.
