Saturday - Engagement

Sunday - Haldi, Mehendi, Sangeet

Monday - Muhurat

And today is Wednesday

Manik by closing his eyes is seated in the swing in balcony...

Only Abhimanyu and Mukthi are very much excited towards the wedding day...

Though Nandini, Manik trying to participate in their happiness, they failed to do so.

Manik thought that it is time to take some rest as he knew very well he cannot sleep, is about to close the balcony door is stopped by a "thud"sound.

Manik went and saw out of the balcony and surprised to see Nandini down with a shoulder bag placing a ladder towards his balcony...

Manik turned towards left and right to see anyone there...

Manik shockingly but in low voice : "Nandini ! What are you doing here?"

Nandini happily : "Manik ! I knew you would have not slept by now"

Manik with fake anger : "I asked you what are you doing here?"

Nandini chuckled : "Wait na Manik...I will say after I come there"

Saying this Nandini started to climb the ladder without any hesitation...

But it is Manik who caught hold of the ladder carefully looking here and there

Nandini after climbing up the balcony came and hugged Manik.......

Manik felt as if his lost life came ........He too was longing for this hug.....

Both were in the hug for few more minutes...Manik slowly released Nandini from the hug and kissed her forehead...

Nandini's smile widened with this kiss...

Manik smilingly : "Now tell me what made you come here that too in this time?"

Nandini smilingly took the box from her bag and gave to Manik...

Manik smilingly : "What is this Nandu?"

Nandini smilingly : "Your Engagement Dress"

Manik chuckled : "Nandu.....I had already bought dress for Mukthi and Abhimanyu's Engagement and (sadly) yours and Madhyam's engagement"

Nandini noticing changes in Manik's expressions chuckled.

Nandini smilingly : "Manik.........This dress is specially for you ...........for our engagement.........Manik and Nandini's Engagement"

Manik shockingly : "What?"

Nandini laughed...

Nandini : "Yes......Tomorrow evening 6.00 p.m Venue .........I will inform you tomorrow.....What you have to do is you come by your car for the said venue......."

Manik understanding what Nandini is saying : "No need Nandini..........Engagement with no one present...........We don't want such kind of thing in our life"

Nandini side hugged Manik sadly : "But Manik..........I need you and you need Me............Don't worry..We will marry only in the presence of family members...........But I don't even want a fake engagement with a person other than you.......Please Manik"

Manik kissing Nandini's hair worriedly : "I can understand Nandini.........."

Sensing some water droplets in his night suit.....Manik immediately lifted Nandini's head and saw her crying...

Manik panicked : "Nandu.......Don't cry baby....I can't see you cry...Okay....I just told my pov.......Otherwise, how can I say No to my baby......I am always ready for my baby"

Nandini wiping her tears : "So you will come na?"

Manik smilingly : "Sure baby....I will come"

Nandini smilingly : "Love you Manik...........and Haan........I bought your engagement ring also........It is with Cabir"

Manik smilingly nodded his head...

Nandini smilingly : "Okay I will go now"

Manik : "How will you go alone that too this time?"

Nandini chuckled : "Bhai is waiting in the next street.......When I got out of the home, he saw me......So he also came with me by saying to Dad that we are going to icecream parlor...So bye"

Manik smilingly : "Say thanks to him too"

Nandini who turned to go suddenly came back and hugged Manik, kissed his cheek and started to get off the ladder...

Manik smilingly came to his room...

After 10 mins.

Manik's phone pinged ..

Nandini : "I reached home"

Manik smilingly : "Good night and Sweet Dreams"

Nandini chuckled : "One correction......In your Dreams"

Manik smilingly placed his mobile nearby and went to sleep...

Next Day- Thursday

Evening 5.00 p.m

Manik got ready in the dress bought by Nandini and came down to the living room...where Mukthi is fighting with Nyonika...

When Mukthi saw Manik, she rushed to him...

Mukthi pleasingly : "Bhai........please bhai...Ask Mom to send me with you for our friend's wedding"

Saying this she winked at Manik...

Manik understood Mukthi's play : "Mom.....He is best friend for both of us...So why are you not sending her?"

Nyonika : "Manik !...Her marriage is on Monday Manik...But see how she is stubborn in going out even today.....She should not go out of the home Manik...That's it"

Manik looked at Mukthi who is requesting him to convince Nyonika...

Manik smilingly : "Mom....Please .....Leave her today....She is coming with me only...I will bring her back soon.....And most importantly she will be going to her in laws house soon....So let her enjoy"

Nyonika eyes welled up with tears hearing Mukthi will leave them soon...

Mukthi rushed to her mother and consoled her...

Nyonika wiping her tears : "Okay...You can go now but come soon....and most importantly be with Manik only"

Mukthi smilingly nodded her head and they both went to the venue which Nandini shared in their whatsapp group...

Reaching the Venue...

Mukthi who was following Manik till now suddenly blindfolded him from back...

Manik : "Mukthi..What are you doing? Untie my eyes"

Mukthi : "No bhai...I am not going to untie..........You please listen to me and walk as I say"

Manik smilingly nodded his head.

Mukthi took Manik through left and straightaway went to the said hotel terrace...

Mukthi unfold the tie on Manik's eyes...

Manik is surprised looking at the decorations...

Mukthi made Manik stand on the stage like set up.

The lift door opened and Nandini with her hands interlinked with Abhimanyu came near the stage like a princess..

Cabir and Navya came behind them....

Abhimanyu and Navya stood beside Nandini while Mukthi and Cabir beside Manik...

The photographers came and fixed their positions...

Manik and Nandini who got their eyes locked as soon as they saw each other got freezed ....

Cabir looking at them chuckled : "Enough of looking guys....Chalo.....Get engaged and you can look each other for lifelong"

Nandini blushed .....while Manik smiled...

Mukthi gave Nandini's ring to Manik while Abhimanyu gave Manik's ring to Nandini....

Getting each others rings, they again loving looked at each other...

Manik smilingly placed his hand in her hand....Nandini made Manik wear the ring...

Manik too smilingly made Nandini wear the Ring..

Mukthi, Abhi, Navya and Cabir clapped for them and wished for them...

They smilingly took various photos in different positions...

The four left Manik and Nandini alone giving them privacy.....

Nandini seeing them left immediately pressed her lips with Maniks'. Though shocked with this sudden liplock, Manik then made her action as his and dominated...

The liplock went for few minutes...

Sensing Nandini could not hold breathe anymore, Manik left her but immediately hugged her...

Manik smilingly : "I love You"

Nandini smilingly : "I love you too"
