Marinette's POV

"Marinette! A friend of yours is here to see you!" My mother said

"Coming!" I said and went to the living room, seeing Adrien sitting in one of the couches

"Hey Marinette!" Adrien greeted me

"Hey Adrien!" I said and sit beside him

"Marinette, your father and I will be going out for valentines. Keep guard of the house" My mother said

"Okay mom! Take care!" I said then they went out

Plagg and Tikki went out of their hiding place

"So now can you give me camembert?" Plagg asked

"Here" Adrien said, giving Plagg a camembert

"Ohh Plagg..." Tikki facepalmed

"Anyways, happy valentines M'lady" Adrien said

"Happy valentines too, kitty" I said

"You're my valentine, right?" Adrien asked

"No..." I joked

"Whaaaaaaaaaaatttt?!" Adrien screamed

"Im just joking. Of course you're my valentine! Who else do you want my valentine to be?" I asked

"No one! Aside from me" Adrien said

"Well, whats your plan for today?" Marinette asked

"Movies? You, me and the kwamies? Later this afternoon?" Adrien said

"Sure!" I replied

"Make sure to bring extra camembert" Plagg said to Adrien

"Sure, Plagg" Adrien said

My phone vibrates. I checked who was calling.

"Who is it?" Adrien asked

"Alya" I answered the call

"Hey, girl. I was wondering if you would like to help us deal with our plan about getting Kim and Alix together" Alya said

"Ohh... Okay, Ill help" I replied

"Great! I am near outside of the school. Max and Kim are coming any minute now" Alya said

"Okay! Ill be there" I said then ended the call

"So?" Adrien asked

"Need to go to Alya" I said

"Oh okay" Adrien said

We went out of the bakery and the kwamies hides.

"Later this afternoon?" Adrien reminds

"Yep. See ya" I said and ran off to Alya

Alya's Pov

Oh no! Max and Kim are here already. Where the heck is Marinette at? I need backup in case I mess up! I said then someone tapped my shoulders

I looked behind and saw Marinette

"Thank goodness you are here. Now lets act like we're casually walking by" I whispered to Marinette and she gave me a thumbs up

3rd person

"Operation Valentines Day is commencing. According to my extensive research and cross-referencing of online shopping sites, this particular jewel" Max revealed a heart box hiding behind his back "was ranked highest in popularity"

He handed the box in front of Kim's face.

Kim laughs "That's perfect Max! I better hit a home run with this one. Love is like baseball, right? You gotta have a strategy or you'll strike out"

Alya spots Max and Kim's conversation and gets excited. She grabs Marinette and drags her over to the boys.

"But if you aim right you'll hit it out of the ball park. Score!" Kim said

"Oh yes Kim, lovely metaphor" Max said

Kim is eyeing the gem inside the box "Meta-who?"

Alya grabs Kim's hands and looks at the jewel "Ooh! Sparkly! Is that for moi?" She winked at Max telling him that this is a act.

Max acts annoyed "Negative Alya. The recipient of this gem has already been determined, it's--"

Kim grabs Max and cuts him off "Shh! Keep it on the down-low!"

"Scoop! Kim's got a major crush!" Alya takes picture with phone "Who's the lucky lady?"

Marinette pushes Alya's arm down "It's gorgeous Kim. She's gonna be ecstatic!"

Alya giggles

Kim rubs back of head uncomfortably "Technically she's still gotta accept it" He grabs Max "What if she says no!?"

Alya looks around worriedly and sighed

"She won't Kim, no way!" Marinette pumps fist "Don't hold back, Kim. Go for it, no regrets!" Marinette said

"Operation Valentine's Day is underway!" Kim high-five's Max

Kim jogging in place, holding a map

"Her route is highlighted here in yellow, yours in red. If you run at ten miles per hour you're going to gain a four and a half minute advance on her. Halt and wait here facing northwest -- the third most romantic spot in Paris" Max says, Marinette and Alya thumbs up behind Max "Go go go!"

"Thanks, you guys" Kim says and runs away

Alya's POV

"Oh gosh, hope this turns out well" I said

"Who is Kim going to ask anyways?" Marinette asked

"Didnt I tell you already?" Max said

"I dont know. Maybe I forgot?" Marinette said

"Anyways, Its Chloe" Max said

"Ohh... Anyways, where's Nino?" Marinette asked

"Near Pont des Arts. He'll spy at Kim and call me when he's there" I said

"Ohh" Marinette said

"Oh there's Alix!" Max pointed at Alix

"Hey Alix!" I called out and Alix rollerblades over to us

"Hey guys!" She said "Whats up?"

"Nothing. Anyways, I dare you to--" Max got cut off

My phone vibrates "Max, hurry up!" I said, not answering the call.

"Hey Max!" Sabrina said

"Uhh" Marinette and I said

"Hey Sabrina! What are you doing at school?" Max asked her

"Im helping with the props and designs for later" She answered

"Ohh, great!" Max said

"Ill just go-"

"Wait uhh" I cut off Alix

"Max hurry up!" Marinette whispered to him

"Anyways see you later" Sabrina said and enters a bus with the teachers inside

"Umm Alya..." Alix crossed her arms

"Uhh" I said

"Alix!" Max said, grabbing her attention

"What?" She asked

"I dare you to skate to Pont des Arts and go across it in under four minutes" Max said

"I was just going there so... Dare accepted!" Alix said and skated away

My phone vibrates again and I answered it.

"Hey Nino!" I said "Alix is coming there"

"Ok Ill tell you everything" Nino said

Nino's POV

Kim clears throat and kneels down in a puddle of water "Will you be my Valentine?" presents a brooch to Chloé

A passing bike splashes water in Kim's face, and a chip bag blowing in the wind sticks to him.

"He just asked her to be his valentine" I said to Alya

"I- uhh... sorry but saved for someone else" Chloe said and runs off

"She reject him!" I said to Alya

Kim drops the brooch and pulls the chip bag off his face and begins to sob.

"He's sobbing! He might get akumatized! When will Alix come here?!" I shouted at the phone

"I dont know!" Alya said and Marinette snatched the phone from her

"If Kim gets akumatized, let Alix be away from him. We cant afford to get her hurt because of us" Marinette said

I nodded and saw a akuma entering Kim's brooch for Chloé

"I think an akuma entered his brooch!" Nino said

"I'll go now!" I heared Marinette say

"No love affair or friendship will escape my fury. No one will ever love again!" Kim said

Kim is transformed into Dark Cupid by the akuma.

"He transformed into an Akuma!" I shouted at the phone

Max snatched the phone from Alya "Try to follow him! Then tell me where he is so I can give another dare to Alix" Max said

I saw Alix skating closer to the bridge. She stopped as she saw Kim fly away. She saw me and went up to me.

"Was that an Akuma?" She asked

"Y-yes. Yes it was" I answered

"What are you doing here near an Akuma?" She asked

"I was uhh... Blogging for Alya!" I answered

"Well, gotta finish Max's dare, see ya later!" She said and skated away.

"Hey Nino, can we talk later? Need to record this for my blog" Alya said through the phone

"Sure, bye" I said and ended the call.

3rd person

Kim is seen shooting arrows at lovers whose lips turn black once hit and run away from their loved ones.

A civilian smashes bouquet of flowers into wall "Ugh, stupid flowers!"

Civilian pulls hand away from woman who he is with "Get off me!"

"Hahahahahaha!" Dark Cupid laughs

"Hahaha! Perfect. It won't be long before Ladybug and Cat Noir show up to meet their doom!" Hawkmoth is laughing evilly

Marinette's POV

"Adrien! Kim's been akumatized!" I said through the phone

"What?! Have any clue on where the Akuma is?" He asked

"It's inside a pin" I answered and looked up and saw Kim's Akumatized self "Gotta go!"

I ended the call and transformed into Ladybug.

3rd person

Ladybug jumps from rooftop to rooftop. She spots Dark Cupid and follows him.

"I hope Adrien will love these heart-shaped macaroons!" Chloe said, hugging a box of macaroons

Dark Cupid spots Chloé and shoots an arrow at her, but Ladybug stops him, making him miss.

Chloe gasps.

"Ladybug!" Dark Cupid said

"Stop, Kim!" Ladybug said

"I'm not Kim, I'm Dark Cupid! I'll never stop! If I can't have love, then no one can!" Dark Cupid said

"Okay, Dark Cupid, I get it. Chloé totally burned you. But that doesn't mean you have to take it out on all of Paris!" Ladybug said

"Oh yes, I do! I won't stop until everyone's heart is crushed. Say adios to your loved ones. From now on, you'll hate them!" Dark Cupid said

Dark Cupid attempts to shoot his arrows at Ladybug who dodges them with her yo-yo. She soon falls catching herself on a roof gutter with her yo-yo.

"If you want to continue destroying love, bring me Ladybug's Miraculous, or I'll remove your powers!" Hawkmoth said to Dark Cupid

"Hey M'lady. It's good to see you" Chat Noir pulls Ladybug down next to him

"Dark Cupi-"

Cat Noir hushes her "Ladybug I-I-look out!"

Cat Noir spins around to shield Ladybug, and is struck by one of Dark Cupid's arrows.

Ladybug gasps "Cat Noir!"

"Ladybug, I—I loathe you!" Chat Noir said

"Cat Noir, snap out of it!" Ladybug said

Cat Noir squeezes Ladybug incredibly close to him as if trying to suffocate her "You're nothing Ladybug, and nothing to me! I hate you!"

Ladybug jumps on Cat Noir's feet and uses his staff to launch herself into the air before grappling her yo-yo onto a street lamp and rolling into Le Grand Paris.

"Ladybug! Are you okay?" Chloe asked

Cat Noir meets Dark Cupid

Cat Noir is seen taking his staff then climbing up the wall where he meets face to face with Dark Cupid.

"Offer to help him in return for Ladybug's Miraculous" Hawkmoth said to Dark Cupid

"I can help you crush Ladybug, but you must give me her Miraculous in return" Dark Cupid told Chat Noir

"No...problem" Chat Noir answers

"Yes. Yes! And once I have Ladybug's Miraculous, taking Cat Noir's will be child's play!" Hawkmoth said

Chloe and Sabrina is speaking with Ladybug.

"You gotta get out of here. Your friend Kim's turned into Dark Cupid and I don't know what he'll do if he finds you here" Ladybug told them

"K-Kim? Ohh no! Even if I tried to be good I still caused an akuma!" Chloe panicked

"It's okay Chloe. What happened anyways?" Ladybug asked

"He asked me to be his Valentine at Pont des Arts but I rejected because I still have feelings for Adrien and I'm asking him to be my valentine later and give him these macaroons" Chloe said, showing Ladybug a box filled with heart-shaped macaroons

Dark Cupid enters the building then fires his arrows at Ladybug, Chloe and Ladybug deflects them with her yo-yo. She then grabs Chloé with her yo-yo and drags her onto the street.

"Run Chloé! Run!" Ladybug told Chloe

Chloe begins to run, holding the box of macaroons close to her. Cat Noir drops down from above and stands in front of Ladybug.

"Well, well, Ladybug" Chat Noir said

"I don't want to fight you, Cat Noir" Ladybug said

"Ugh, that friendliness. It's so revolting. You are definitely not my friend!" Cat Noir leaps into the air and swings his staff directly at Ladybug.

She dodges it and jumps up onto the roof to run away, and Cat Noir pursues her. Ladybug uses her yo-yo to grab Cat Noir's staff, and pulls him towards her.

"Why are you so full of hate, Cat Noir?!" Ladybug said

"Because hate conquers all!" Chat Noir answers

"I hate to burst your bubble, but hate doesn't conquer all. Love does!" Ladybug gasps

Flashback

"The prince breaks the spell by kissing the princess" Marinette's mother said, reading a story

"So only love can conquer hate?" Marinette asked her mother

"Yes, dear" Her mother answers

Flashback ends

"You're just buying time! Fight!" Chat Noir said

"I'll do better than that" Ladybug said

"Huh?" Chat Noir said

"Come on, kitty kitty, just a peck..." Ladybug tries to kiss him, but missed "Almost!"

"Get back, you savage!" Chat Noir said

"Here, kitty kitty kitty! Come here!" Ladybug Said

Chloé runs away from Dark Cupid.

Dark Cupid laughs "You can't outrun me, Chloé!"

Chloe trips over a flower stand and falls near several civilians. The box of macaroons flies away "Help!"

The civilians see Dark Cupid and run away. Chloé also sees him.

"Happy Valentine's Day, Chloé. Now you'll get what you deserve" Dark Cupid said

"My gift! " Chloe said

Dark Cupid hits Chloe with his arrow.

Cat Noir is still being chased by Ladybug.

Ladybug catches Cat Noir's leg with her yo-yo and ties him to a lamppost. She suspends herself from the top of the lamppost and leans in to kiss him.

"No, no!" Chat Noir panics

"Don't worry, I'm trying to save you..." Ladybug tries to kiss him, but misses "I can't believe I'm doing this..." tries to kiss him again, but an arrow appears between them, shot by Dark Cupid. Ladybug avoids the arrows, and Cat Noir gets free, joining Dark Cupid. Ladybug hides behind a tree.

"How you gonna fight both of us now, bug eyes?" Chat Noir activates Cataclysm "I've often wondered what would happen if I use my Cataclysm on someone..."

"Lucky Charm!" A candy apple appears "A candy apple? What am I supposed to do with this? Think, Ladybug..." She looks around, and spots the fountain, Cat Noir's ring, and Dark Cupid's brooch "Hey! I've got a Valentine's gift for you!"

Cat Noir and Dark Cupid get ready to attack Ladybug. Dark Cupid shoots arrows at her, but she deflects them with her yo-yo. Cat Noir is about to use his Cataclysm on her, but she avoids it and grabs him by his belt. She jumps on him and throws the candy apple at Dark Cupid's head, and he removes it.

"Looks like you got yourself in a sticky situation!" Ladybug said

Dark Cupid gets the candy apple out of his hand, and tries to shoot an arrow at her, but his hand gets stuck in the bow.

"Ladybug!!" Dark Cupid screams

"And now, for the pussycat!" Ladybug said

"Cat Noir, her Miraculous!" Dark Cupid said

"With pleasure! Finally I'll find out who you are, Ladybug! Your little secret will be out of the bag!" Chat Noir said

Ladybug grabs his face and kisses him, breaking the spell.

"Huh? What am I doing here?" Chat Noir asks

Ladybug grabs his hand and carries him.

"No time! The quiver pin, Cat Noir! Now!" throws Cat Noir at
Dark Cupid "Grab it! Grab the pin!"

"No!" Dark Cupid said

Chat Noir threw the pin to Ladybug and she broke the it and purified the Akuma.

Kim transforms back to his normal self "Huh?"

"Pound it!" The superheroes fist bumped

Ladybug's Miraculous beeps "Oops! Bye bye Valentine!"

Ladybug jumps away.

Chat Noir smiles and runs away.

"Drrr... blasted Ladybug! Blasted Valentine's Day!" Hawkmoth said

Alya's POV

"Come on, Marinette! Pick up your phone!" I said as I waited for my friend to answer my call

"Hey Alya!" Marinette walks over to me "Why are you hiding behind a bush?"

I quickly dragged her beside me "I've been recording for the Ladyblog. Ladybug kissed Chat Noir and called him Valentine after the Akuma has been released!"

"Intresting... What about the plan?" She asks

"Just wait and see" I answered, pointing at Kim

Seconds later, we saw Alix rollerblading really quick, unable to control her speed. We saw Max following Alix from behind and gave us a thumbs up.

Kim's POV

I slowly stood up and walked away, touching my head.

"Ughh... My head hurts. What happened?" I asked myself

Then memories came back to me. Hitting Chat Noir at the back with an arrow, hitting Chloe with an arrow, hitting random citizens with an arrow. I've been, akumatized?

I tried to remember how and why. And I did. I asked Chloe to be my valentine and she declines.

Of course she would not be my valentine! No one loves me! No one even cares about me I thought 

I put my hands inside the pockets of my hoodie jacket and walked slowly.

It stayed like that until I heard someone call out my name.

"Kim! Look out!" Someone said. I looked behind and they bumped me. We fell and my head hurts even more. I closed my eyes, sit down on the ground, and touch my head.

"Sorry! Kim are you alright?" The person asked

"Yes, I'm fine" I said and opened my eyes

"Good" Alix said and stood up

"A-Alix?! W-Why did you do that?" I asked and stood up

"Max dared me to go here as fast as I could and I lost control" She answered

"Ohh... And since when did you have concern about me?" I asked

"We're friends, right? And just like you said, friends care for each other" She smiled

I can't help but notice how adorable she looks when she smiles.

"Well anyways, I gotta go somewhere now" Alix said "See ya later!" And with that, she skates away

I look at her skate away and smiled She is the only person to make me smile, aside from Max. How come I don't smile when Chloe talks to me or whatever I thought and a hand poked my shoulders. I looked back to see Max.

"Ohh, hey Max!" I said

"Hi Kim. Are you okay?" He asked

"Yep. I'm fine" I answered "Anyways, do you know how did I developed feelings for Chloe?" I asked

"I don't think you ever had a crush on her" Max answers "When you first told me that you have feelings for Chloe, I thought it was a joke! But you looked serious"

"Well... What do you mean I never had a crush on Chloe?" I asked

"You know when you have a crush if you smile whenever they're around, when you stutter around them, when you started complimenting them, care for them, suddenly have the urge to help them, and many more" Max said

"Ohh" I said

"But when I see you around her, you don't really show that you have feelings for her. Sure, you helped her get Alya's phone last time when she got akumatized. But I think you just did that because you wanted to. Remember you teased Ivan because he likes Myleene? It's like that, you did it because you want to" Max said

"So, it means I never had a crush on anyone the whole time?" I asked

He sighs and face palms "You sure are not a fan of crushes and love. And you know who else dosent?"

"Uhh... Alix?" I replied

"Yep" He said

"And hey, even if I'm not a fan of love, I still do have feelings, you know. If you haven't heard, I just got Akumatized minutes ago because someone declined to be my valentine" I said

"Yeah, which turns out that you don't even have feelings for her" Max said

"But why didn't you tell me that I never had a crush on Chloe?" I asked

"I don't know... It was fun watching you" Max said

"... Anyways,lets head to the arcade" I said

"I was- uhh... Planning to help Sabrina decorate the Manoir Blanc" Max said

"Ohh... Having the sudden urge to help?" I teased

He blushed "I-uhh just realized that. Besides, when you have high intelligence, you don't really fall in love so I doubt that I have a crush"

"Deny all you want, Mr. Suddenly-Have-The-Urge-To-Help-Sabrina" I said

"Can we, like, go to the arcade now?" He asked

"I thought you're going to help your princess decorate" I teased

"Sure, If you really want me to help her. Don't blame me if you can't figure out the patterns to the games" Max said and walked towards a bus.

"Come on, Max. I was just teasing you" I said

"Can't hear you" He said then enters the bus

"Whatever. I know he wants to see Sabrina so I'm not stopping him" I said to myself and walked away
