It was a long flight from Ruby's palace to Jade mountain and my wings were starting to hurt, but I couldn't bare to see Moon forced into a relationship with someone she doesn't love. Especially if that dragon was using magic on her. The flight wasn't as tiring as I thought it would be, Umber is actually a pretty nice dragon to talk to, I don't know why he hasn't found someone that loves him as much as he loves them. Jade Mountain started to come into view as we flew on.

"Moon, I coming," I thought, "I'll be with you soon, just hang on." A new feeling of adrenaline rushed through my body and wings, I flew through the sky faster than the average Sandwing normally would. Feeling the wind fly over me felt amazing, with the sun shining on my scales I felt fully energetic, like I could fly to the Sandwing palace and back without ever getting tired. Sudden;y I saw a mixture of black and white scales sitting at the edge of the academy's entrance, holding talon in talon. I knew that it was Winter and Moon instantly, with a surge of anger I dived into Winter and started fighting with him.

"Winter!" I hissed, "Why would you do this? I thought we were friends! I thought you were over mine and Moon's relationship! Stop this right now before more blood is shed!" Moon tried to break up the fight but Umber held her back, "Moon let them sort this out. Winter put a spell on you, Qibli and I are trying to fix this."

"I'm not under a spell, Mudwing!" Moon snapped, "I've loved Winter since the day we met! Qibli, if you so much as hurt Winter, I'll kill you myself!" Those last words made my heart stop. "Moon listen to me, Winter put you under a love spell, just like the one Anemone put on Kinkajou. Snap out of it I know this isn't the real you! Please don't do this!"

"I hate you, Qibli!" Winter roared, "You've always gotten in the way, you're a useless waste of space! You never amounted anything to Moon, I'm the one who deserves her! Not you!" He shot a blast of frostbreath at me but missed, but it gave him enough time to hit me in the head with his tail and knock me out and throw me in with Kinkajou and Queen Thorn while I was still distracted.
