Preeta's POV

As I was walking I heard everyone's talks in Mahira's room, I couldn't control my tears and went to my room

"Why is this happening to me? What if Karan divorces me? I can't let him marry Mahira! What if he agrees for this marriage? No. Karan, I will die without you! How can everyone decide this without asking me...." I say to myself as tears stream down

"Preeta! You trust Karan! He won't do anything like this with you right? And what are you telling? Stop telling all this" I say to myself wiping my tears

"But what if, they get Karan married to Mahira? Already he is not happy with this marriage, and what if he agrees to this!"

Till then my phone starts ringing, I see the caller ID, it was Srishti

"Hello Srishti"

"Hi di! How are you?"

"I am fine! How are you?"

"What's wrong? Why do you seem upset?"

"No, I am not upset! Nothing happened!"

"Di you know you can't lie to me, tell me na! I am getting scared"

"Arrey, nothing happened little sis! I will talk to you later"

"Di I need to meet you, come to the cafe today evening!"

"I need to ask at home Srishti!"

"Okay ask! I am sure Karan jiju will not mind!"

"Jiju?"

"Di! He is your husband, so of course he is my jiju!"

"But now he will become someone else's husband!" I say to myself as tears fall from my eyes.

"Umm okay I will come!" I say and hang the call

Till then Karan enters

"I want to go and meet Srishti, can you drop me?"

"Umm, okay!"

"I will get ready and come down"

"Fine!"

Karan's POV

I decide to take Preeta to a restaurant and tell her everything, then drop her there

"Karan, I have to go to the bank for some work! Can you drop me?" Mahira asked

"No sorry, go with some driver, I am going with Preeta!"

"Karan! She is your going to be wife." Kareena bua said making me shocked and angry

"What rubbish? I am already married! Can't you see? I am married to Preeta! No mattter whatever this marriage is for, she is my wife!"

"We want you to give her divorce! And marry Mahira, she loves you so much! You are suffering so much by marrying Preeta! My Mahira will always keep you happy!" Mahira's mom said making me even more angry.

"Aunty, you are my mother's best friend, so I am not telling anything! But that doesn't mean that you can say anything right aunty? And all of you listen to me for once, I WILL NEVER DIVORCE PREETA"

"Karan, but you have to marry Mahira! She loves you so much and you are not happy with this marriage also! She will ruin your life."

I know, my Preeta will never hurt me or ruin my life! I can't understand what to do, but Preeta knows the complete truth of Sherlyn and dad also, so unfortunately I had to agree for this marriage! Because I got an idea to prove Preeta innocent. And I am sure this will work!

"Karan will you marry her?"

"Umm yes!"

His "yes" was heard by Preeta, which shattered her heart into pieces, she went down, and said the driver to leave her to the cafe

"Omg! I am so happy! Thank you Karan!" Mahira said coming to hug me, I moved back.

"For that, you have to divorce that stupid Preeta." Kareena bua said

"Bua!! I already said my decision, that I am not going to divorce Preeta! You all better understand this!"

"But how will you marry Mahira then? You will already have a wife!"

"Because, I am never going to marry Mahira! No matter what happens! I am just telling that I will, but this is just to prove that Preeta is innocent, and that she is not wrong in anyway!" I say to myself and go to the car.

"Where is Preeta? I will say her about my plan and confess to her today! But where is she? I hope she didn't misunderstand me, or else she will get really angry with me, and then she won't listen to me." I say to myself and start my car

"Where is Preeta?" I ask the worker

"She went with the driver Sir."

"Oh god, I am sure she heard me say yes, and now she misunderstood me! But no Preeta, I will neither divorce you nor marry someone else other than you! You complete my life, and fill my life with happiness, but all this is just a plan, to prove you innocent Preeta, and nothing else! And I am sure this plan will work, but before that I have to convince her."

Preeta's POV

I go to the cafe and I see Srishti, as I hug her tears stream down!

"Di why are you crying? What happened? Please tell me I am getting scared!"

"Nothing nothing! You tell me why did you call me?" I say wiping my tears

"I wanted to talk to you, and also tell that Maa is going out of town!"

"Ohh! When will she come back?"

"She has some work there, she might stay there for a month or so!"

"So long? You all?"

"We will stay here only Di! Only she is going. She has work there!"

"Okay fine!"

"Now tell me why are you so upset and why are you crying?"

"Srishti, Karan agreed to marry Mahira! Now he will give me divorce!"

"What? How can Karan jiju agree for that? I am sure that stupid Mahira did something!! Calm down di, we will not let this happen!"

"No Srishti! Leave it, if that's where Karan's happiness lies, then let him!"

"Di what are you even telling? He is your husband!"

"That he also knows, and yet he decided this, so let him! And don't tell anything to maa, she will get tensed, let her go and come then we will tell her about the marriage!"

"Umm okay! But Di please talk to jiju, and tell him not to do so!"

"No Srishti, if he would listen, then he would have asked me or at least said me something! But he didn't, he just said yes! I don't know why he is doing this!"

"Di so you will come back?"

"No Srishti, that will only happen after our divorce, or else till then I won't come back, I have promised Mahesh uncle that I will take care of this family!"

"Then why are you not doing that with your and jiju's relationship!"

"Because he doesn't care either! If he did, then he wouldn't have agreed for this!"

We spoke for sometime and then I went home
