Maahira's POV

As I come home I walk to my room and on the way I see Rishabh and Karan speaking

"So what happened if I took her out? She is my friend!"

That word friend, bought a smile on my face, I went to Sherlyn

"Wow! You seem to be really happy!"

"Yes! I am very happy!"

"What happened?"

I tell her everything

"So what is making you happy?" She said smirking

"I think I am in love!"

"What?"

Sherlyn's POV

As I heard that, I knew that Maahira is the perfect person who will do anything to get Karan! So she is my way, to remove Preeta from this house

"Yes Sherlyn! I love Karan so much! I can do anything to get him, but Preeta"

"I will help you! Just do as I say and you will get Karan!"

I explain her the plan and as per the plan she goes down

I go and put oil near the stairs and Mahira calls Preeta down

"Maahira I am coming" she said and came towards the stairs, I see Karan and Rishabh coming from inside, so I hide into the room

Karan's POV

As me and Bhai come out I see Preeta going towards the stairs, I see water or something fallen there, I knew she would slip because she was going down in a hurry,

"AAAH!!" She screamed and tripped

"PREETAAAA!" I ran and caught her, I was lost in her beautiful eyes, she was looking at me, and I was looking at her! We stood like that for the longest time

"Preeta what happened? Are you fine?" Sherlyn said giving her hand to Preeta so that she stands up

"Don't show your fake sympathy here Sherlyn! Better stay quiet" I thought and moved her hand, and made Preeta stand up

"Are you okay Preeta ji?"

"Yes Rishabh ji, I am absolutely fine"

"What is this? Who put this oil here? If something would have happened to her? She would have tripped from the stairs! Are there any workers here who can take care of all this?" I screamed!

"Karan calm down, it's by mistake maybe!"

"What a mistake Rishabh! It's not mistake, it's carelessness!" I say and go to my room and close the door behind me

I know this is completely, that Sherlyn's plan! She should have fallen instead, at least we would live in peace! Why is she behind Preeta?

But Sherlyn, always remember, that until THE KARAN LUTHRA is with PREETA KARAN LUTHRA, nothing can happen to her! And next time if you even come near her then see, you are dead in my hands Sherlyn!

I say to myself as I go towards my bed

Maahira's POV

I go to Sherlyn's room

"Sherlyn, such a flop plan! I thought she will fall down, instead, Karan and Preeta came more close! What stupid plans do you make Sherlyn!"

"Don't talk to me like that from next time! Be thankful that I am helping you out, or else in this house,  No one would help you! So next time, be careful and think before you speak! You understand?" She shouted!

"Umm! I am going!"

I say and I went from there in anger!

"Preeta, you will pay back for all this! I love Karan more than anyone, and I can do anything to get him, you better stay away from him!" I say as I stand in front of the mirror

"What did you say Mahira? You love Karan?" Kareena aunty said coming inside with my mum

"Hmm no aunty, I didn't ........."

"No beta it's okay, we will get you married with Karan! This Preeta is a stupid girl! I hate her, I don't want her as my daughter in law"

"Sach Kareena ji? Mahira is madly in love with Karan! I just hoped to get her married to Karan, but he is already married!" My mum said making me more happy

"Yes dear, but there is something called DIVORCE also, so we will get Mahira married to Karan, after throwing Preeta from this house!"

"Didi! What is this? Don't even think of doing all this! She is the daughter in law of this family, and will always be! And you are my friend, how can you think of ruining my son's married life?" Rakhi aunty said mum

"But Rakhi, Preeta is not meant for your son! Karan deserves much better person than that middle class"

"Stop now! Preeta is my son's wife, and it's done now!"

"No bhabhi! Mahira will be Karan's wife! And you can't do anything about it" Kareena aunty said

"Didi....."

"I said you, not to say anything! I will never accept Preeta as my Karan's wife! That place is only and only Mahira's!"

"Didi, how can you even think of it.... And it is Karan who has accept her as his wife, not us!"

"Karan made a mistake marrying her, so we elders will decide what is best for him and what is not! And this is my decision, that Karan will get married to Mahira only!"

"Please don't do this....."

"Don't say anything bhabi! Its final now!"

They all go from my room!

The thought of me marrying my love, makes me so happy! Really soon, Karan will be mine! And I will have the full right on him, I will be his wife!

I start jumping in happiness

Preeta's POV

"Karan you care so much for me, but still you don't show it out! Why? Today when I was hurt, you helped me, you scolded everyone in the house, about who put that oil there! Then why don't you accept me as your wife Karan!"

"That is just called humanity, and nothing else! No matter who would be there in that position, I would have helped her the same way! So don't think that I care for you!"

"Even if it was Mahira?" I asked him

"Umm! Yes!! She is my friend and of course I will save her"

"You care about her, because she is your friend, and for me because you are a human, why don't you care about me because I am your wife!"

"Because I don't accept you as my wife Preeta!"

"What?" Tears steam down my eyes as he said those lines

I change and go to sleep
