"Tell that to her, not me! I don't want to talk to anyone now, I am tired of explaining all of you! No one understands. "Beta, you should not speak to her like that! She is your bua, she might feel bad right." Rakhi explained softly

"Oh! Then what about Preeta ji? She is getting blamed for something she didn't do, she won't feel bad? When we respect Sherlyn as our daughter in law, then we should not forget that Preeta ji is also the daughter in law of this house! Why do we have to explain that to everyone again and again!" Rishabh said

"I know beta! But don't be rude, she is elder to you right! Now come, we have to have Dinner." Rakhi took Rishabh down

Karan's room

"Come, let's have dinner Preeta!" Karan said

Preeta was lost in her thoughts

"Oh hello! Are you there? What are you thinking?" Karan said moving her

"Nothing!" She said sadly

"What happened? Why are you sad? Everything is fine now!" Karan said

"No Karan, nothing is fine! Here, always because of me, there are fights in this house! Now, Rishabh ji and Sherlyn had a fight, and the reason was me! All fights between this family members, is because of me!" Preeta said as tears streamed down her eyes

"Shh! Calm down! You are not wrong at all! That Sherlyn must have only started the fight taking your name. Actually, I am sure she only creates all the problems, and blames on you! And don't think about these fights and all, Sherlyn deserves all this. And you are completely safe, especially if I am with you! Don't worry, and stop crying, I can't see my bajarbatti, crying like this!" Karan said wiping her tears

As Preeta is going, she slips from the stairs but his arms catch her, she closed her eyes tightly

They both were staring at each other, suddenly she came back to reality, and stood back

"I am sorry! Are you fine?" Preeta said worriedly

"I am sorry Preeta ji! Did you get hurt?"

"No Rishabh ji! I am fine! Thank you for saving me."

"Come on Preeta ji, it's okay! Of course I can't let you get hurt na." He said laughing

Both Rishabh and Preeta were smiling looking at each other

Karan came from his room, and saw Rishabh holding Preeta and then they were smiling looking at each other. He went away from there in anger

"What was going on there? Full day, Rishabh keeps on saving and supporting Preeta! And Preeta also keeps on getting worried about him. What's wrong with them? Karan, why are you thinking about them!" Karan said to himself

"But wait, Preeta is my wife! She is only mine, I can't let this happen anymore!" He said and went down for dinner

"Karan, salad?" Preeta said serving him

"No thank you! Rishabh might want it, go and serve him!" Karan said in a upset mood

"Oh, maybe Rishabh ji likes it, I should give him!" Preeta thought to herself, without thinking what Karan meant

"Okay, I will give him!" Preeta said and served Rishabh

"Thank you Preeta ji!" Rishabh said, and Karan was fuming in anger, while Preeta gave a smile to Rishabh

"Preeta beta, tomorrow it is Karva chauth! You all will keep vrat right?" Rakhi asked

"Yes! I will keep my vrat, only and only for Karan!" Preeta thought to himself

"I will keep for Karan!" Mahira whispered to her mom

"We have to do the preparations!" Kritika said

"Yeah, I will do them, no problem!" Preeta assured

"Yes, I know for who you are keeping this vrat! Your favourite, Rishabh ji!" Karan thought to himself rolling his eyes

"But, Mahira beta, will Karan break your fast? Preeta is his wife." Mahira's mom said

"I will open my fast, with his photo! But this fast is only and only for My Karan! And maybe not this time, but from next year, Karan will only open my fast." Mahira said dreaming about Karan

"But, will Karan open my fast!? He doesn't remember that we are married! This year, I have to open it with his photo. What can I do now!?" Preeta thought to herself

"This time, both my son's will perform the pooja! With their wives." Rakhi said looking at Rishabh and Karan

"Yeah, but Rishabh will do it with my wife!" Karan thought angrily

"Now, let's go and sleep! It's quite late." Dadi said

Karan and Preeta went to Karan's room

"I am so excited for tomorrow! It's the first time I am keeping a karva chauth vrat." Preeta said

"Yes, I know why are you so excited." Karan said rolling his eyes

"Why are you behaving so weirdly? What's wrong with you?" Preeta questioned

"Nothing! And I should ask that question to you! Anyways, go and sleep now!" Karan said and went to sleep on the couch

"Such a moody person you are Karan! I don't know what happens to you." Preeta said and went to sleep
