The last days of Reuben's life went by so slowly... I felt like God was playing a trick on me. Petra offered me helpful advice, Olivia and Axel broke down, as they knew how close Reuben and I were. (Axel almost never breaks down, since he was the manly man after all)

Lukas and Jess were equally surprised and even though Jess just met Reuben, she was teary eyed as she hugged him.

I could not believe my best friend was leaving me. I patted his head and he looked up at me, his trusting eyes looking up at me.
