Petra was irritated. I knew she was irritated with Ivor, who touched the tree... something, I did not understand. "Petra." I mumbled and she looked over at me, her fingers strumming her guitar absentmindedly. 

"Want to go out?" I asked quickly and she sat back a little. Then she smiled, her face lighting up. It was beautiful.

I took her hand and led her outside. "Where do you even want to go?" she asked and I smiled sheepishly. 

"Well... I don't know, but I just want to take you outside." I replied and was surprised to find that it stopped raining. "A sign." she said and held out a hand to check. 

"A sign to say that I should take you out." I replied.
