Chapter 31
Taehyung was enjoying his time after few long busy months. They had been busy like crazy for the last few months promoting their new album, traveling overseas, performing on national television not only in Korea but all over the world.
He spent the past few days with his parents and Yeontan.
Gosh, he loved his dog!!!
And sleeping with that cute furball was probably the best time of his days. His heart melted when that little puppy woke him up every morning.
They were having a fan sign event today. He could see a hall full of girls of different ages, any traces of fanboys were rare.
He was already used to this situation. Fansign was always his favorite, getting to meet the fans in person and seeing their smiling faces was something he could easily live for. But he hated the part of acting all sunny and fun.
All he always wanted was just being himself. If he was sad, just letting it be! Though he was not sad or anything he thought that would be easy for idols to be able to express their true selves now and then.
Fans were coming one after another.
"Taehyung Oppa!"
Taehyung smiled brightly and responded to the hi-five with the fan.
"I can't believe I am seeing you!!" the girl was so cute.
Taehyung couldn't but smile back. She asked for a picture, he took her phone and captured a selfie with his iconic V sign.
He was done with the signing and answering the written question on the notebook he was given while having a little chitchat with that girl.
It has been a while that receiving gifts from fans has been banned. Otherwise, there would be loads of gifts already. And of course, he had to wear ridiculous headbands, hair clips, bunny ears, or flower crowns already.
Not that he didn't like those, he found those funny. But sometimes he felt embarrassed to thinking himself a grown-up, not a teenage boy being decorated with cute stuff like showpieces
The next notebook was passed to him. The girl did quite a good job decorating the notebook.
"You made this?!" he smiled back at the new girl with admiration.
"Yes! You like it?" she was blushing.
"You have a good artistic sense. I love it!" Taehyung held her hand and started to write it down in the notebook.
Not long after the staff gave her a sign to move to the next member.
"Maybe there are not many little kids this time!" Yoongi said to Taehyung from his side.
They both loved kids in these types of events. They always make these quite hasty events enjoyable.
"Yes, I didn't see any," Taehyung replied, "but I saw teenagers."
Yoongi nodded in response, getting into a conversation with the girl in front of him.
"Noona, how are you?" Taehyung smiled at the woman in front of him.
"I am good! I can't believe I am here! My god! What do I do?!!!" the woman was excited.
"What do you do, Noona?"
"I am a teacher. I teach at the elementary school." She smiled.
Taehyung had a small chit-chat with the woman until it was time to move. Taehyung thanked her for coming and looked at the next girl.
She was very sweet to look at and very adorable.
"Hi, little one!" Taehyung gave her a high five.
"I am not that little, Oppa!" the girl pouted.
Taehyung chuckled at her words. "No??? But you look little!"
"I am 16!" she protested.
"Ok, noona, I will keep that in mind," Taehyung teased her.
"Oppa!"
Taehyung chuckled and bade her goodbye and concentrated on the next girl.
It was a girl of almost his age.
she was blushing red, "Taehyung Oppa! Is it really you?!!"
Taehyung put his hand on hers on the table, "you doing good?"
She nodded, "you are my favorite singer, Oppa! I love you so much!"
"Thank you! I couldn't be more grateful," Taehyung smiled while writing down in her notebook.
"See? I even bought myself your favorite one!" she pulled out a pendant from behind the collar of her shirt.
It was a trio of a platinum star, a safety pin, and a blade.
"We don't see you wearing yours anymore Oppa! you said that was your most favorite pendant! I thought we'd be twining today!" the girl pouted.
"Oh, I don't have it with me anymore!" Taehyung sighed.
"Where is it?"
"I gave it to a dear friend." Taehyung smiled.
"Is it a boy or a girl?" she teased.
"Use your imagination." Taehyung ruffled her hair and finished writing in her notebook.
"Dear friend, huh?" next girl was already in front of him after her departure.
"Yeah, very." Taehyung smiled.
"So, how is your friend, do you think I have a chance with him? Or is it her?" she raised her eyebrow.
Tarhyung chuckled, "I can see what are you trying to do here. I am not gonna answer that!"
"My bad!" she fake sighed.
He smiled and concentrated on his writing. But the sudden rush of pings distracted him, he took his phone to look at what happened.
His eyes widened realizing the meaning of the notifications

Rushes of notification flooded Ashley's phone.
She kind of expected it but didn't expect this much. She had to reactivate her number for extracting an urgent text sent on this number to her last year.
Her heart skipped a beat seeing the sender name of the messages, Tae.
She was determined to not open those. That was an old wound. She didn't want to reopen that wound again.
But she ended up opening the texts. Her heart clasped at the scene.
There was a message almost every day for the last four months written with a date.

She put down the phone and put her head on the table. She couldn't see any further. It was hard.
She slowly finished finding out her necessary text. Should she text back? Just an apology? Or to say not to text her anymore?
No. She can't.
She again deactivated the number.
She surely had to bear with the pain anyway, but she couldn't let herself being shadow over someone else she cared about.
Taehyung.
