Chapter 3
Girl's POV:
After seeing off the ambulance, I came inside again, picking up my bag I went to my table.
The order still has not arrived. And already I lost my appetite. I stood up taking my jacket in my hand, wishing to cancel the order and go home for the day.
I walked to the counter when I saw that boy who helped me earlier sitting in a corner. I saw him in the metro earlier I remembered.
He seemed to be struggling with his phone, and in one glance anyone can see it's broken. And there was a passport beside his hands on the table.
Is he a traveler? A traveler without a phone? Oh, that would be difficult for him. And from his facial expression, it's easy to know that he was not comfortable in English.
"Yes, ma'am?"
I looked at the person behind the counter, "can you please cancel my order?"
"Sure ma'am," he said with a pleasing smile.
I again looked at the boy. Damn, it's uneasy to look at a lost one.
"You know what, just leave it. Keep the order," I said to the person.
He looked confused. I didn't mind.
I am not that outgoing. A little bit of an introvert. But I went to his table.
"Umm, hi..need help with that?"
He looked at me, surprised. Eventually, a smile crept upon his face. So gentle and humble smile.
"Can I?" I indicated the seat in front of him.
"Yes, yes, please," he said instantly.
"I am Ashley."
"I am Raphael, Sanzio," he said with an innocent smile.
I chuckled, "so you like the School of Athens then!!"
He was surprised, and then again that innocent smile, "Are you an artist?"
"Not really, I am just interested in arts though," I replied.
"Well, I am Kim."
"Nice to meet you, Kim."
He nodded.
"So, where are you from? China? Japan?" I tried to break the ice.
"No, no, no,....not Japan. South Korea," he corrected me with a smile.
