I stood in front of the apartment building and grinned "I've got you now (Y/n)"

I awoke to someone knocking on my door, I turned over and looked at my clock, 5:36 I shook my head as I got up, it was far too early for this, I quickly tossed on my (f/c) bathrobe and walked to the door "yes...?" I asked, stifling a yawn. I found their face and froze, "Good morning Ms. (Y/n) (M/n) (L/n)" the brunette male said formally "good morning sir" I responded, standing up straighter, his brown eyes took in my (f/c) robe and pajamas "am I interrupting?" I shook my head "you did wake me up but, it's 5:30 in the morning" he looked at his watch "true, but I figured that your mother would have woken you up by now, she was always an early riser" I clenched my fist, my nails digging into my skin "that's true" I said though clenched teeth "exactly" he agreed, seeming blind to my clenched teeth "anyway I have a, proposition for you, (Y/n)" "what is it?" I asked him, he smiled "your father-" "no" I cut him off "look i don't care what that idiot wants from me, if he wants to talk he can come himself, not send some messenger" i bared my fangs, my ears and tail bristling making the male back away "but i don't believe in shooting the messenger so you're lucky, goodbye" i slammed the door in his face and went back to my room, i threw my robe on the floor and collapsed on my bed, it was still far too early. I closed my eyes, and my alarm blared in my ear, I jumped and looked at the clock 6:05 it read, I sighed, getting up and throwing on my uniform haphazardly and running a brush through my messy hair and over my ears and tail quickly, I went to kitchen and put some bread in the toaster, I packed my bag quickly, wanting to be early to school, I threw on my flats and grabbed the toast as it jumped out of the toaster I ate it quickly, grabbing an apple as i left, I bit into the red fruit as I walked to the school, my flats hitting the ground with a steady rhythm. I arrived at the school and tossed my apple core in the trash as I stepped into the school, I found the werewolf class room quickly and stepped in "Hello?" I called, hoping Mr. Kevin would be here so early "yes? Who is it?" "Ah! It's me, (Y/n)?" "Ahh, (Y/n), what brings you to school so early?" Mr. Kevin came up to his desk, starting to organize papers "I need, help with something," "what is it?" "do you recall, from last year, a student named, Gene?" I asked, nervously, knowing he wasn't a werewolf and that I was taking a chance Mr. Kevin turned around, his eyes blazing "Gene Shadowguard?" "yes" I nodded nervously "I do know him, I didn't teach him" he said, answering my unasked question "but his reputation spread quickly, a trouble maker, leader of the Shadow Knights, responsible for all the graffiti spread around the school, him and his friends, Sasha Kill-Love and Zenix Dark'ness" Mr. Kevin shook his head "they were almost never in class, yet managed to keep their grades at B's and C's, I don't know how but they had answer keys" he looked lost in thought "um, thank you Mr. Kevin" I left quickly "well that was informative" I muttered "what was?" I jumped, finding myself face-to-face with Ein "oh" I exhaled "it's just you, nothing, just got some information I needed" "wait is there a test soon?" I laughed "no, it was extra-curricular stuff" "good" he said, the bell rang and we both sighed, then laughed, I grinned at him "see you at lunch?" "Sure, meet me by the bleachers" "great" I walked to my locker, I grabbed the books I needed and went to class, english was slow, to say the least, I jumped out of my seat as soon as the bell rang, I went to my locker dropping my stuff and grabbing my lunch, I went outside, looking for Ein, I saw the female alpha, recognizing her by her short stature and dark hair "hey! Alpha!" I walked up to her she was talking to three werewolves, two guys, a blond and a brunette and one girl whom had purpley-blue hair I walked up to them "hey Alpha" "ah! Hi, uhhh...?" "(Y/n)" I supplied, realizing I had never properly introduced myself to her "nice to meet you (Y/n)" I smiled, then turned to the three werewolves "I'm, as I just said (Y/n), what are your names?" "I'm Rylan" said the brunette "I'm Dottie and this is Daniel" said the girl, pointing at the blond boy "nice to meet you" I said, I glanced around, my eyes landing on the dark haired werewolf I was looking for "Well, nice meeting you, see you later" I waved at them as I walked up to Ein "hello Ein" I said he grinned and turned around "hey (N/n)" I shook my head "why that nickname?" "why not that nickname?" "you win" I sighed he laughed and brushed a stand of my hair away from my face I pushed his hand away "are we eating or not?" Ein playfully slapped his own forehead "I forgot we have to eat to survive!" we both laughed, maybe we met the other day but it was nice to have someone to be silly with, maybe it could turn into friendship "but really, did you forget your lunch or are you just being silly?" "to be fair-" Ein started "its fine, I brought extras" I pulled out two wrapped sandwiches and handed him one "I always bring two, just in case" he smiled gratefully "thanks (N/n)" "no problem, Ein" we ate and talked about trivial things, mainly about the alpha male, which wasn't very trivial, but mostly nonsensical speculation all the same the bell finally rang, after almost half and hour of talking and laughter Ein stood as soon as the bell rang I grinned at him "see you later" I hesitated "friend" he grinned back "same to you, friend" he walked toward the school, I followed after a second, going to World History, it was semi interesting, we talked about The Jury Of Nine, I took notes, planing on doing some research on my own later, the bell rang and I went to my locker, finding Ein standing next to it "hello, Ein" I said absentmindedly as I put in my locker combo, opening the door and grabbing my books Ein playfully glanced at his non-existent watch "so are you free this afternoon?" "why?" I shut my locker and started putting all my books in my bag "want to see a movie?" "what movie?" "which ever one you want" "okay then" I swung my bag onto my back, "I'll see you in the park in twenty minutes" "see you then" I walked back to my apartment, dropping my bag and putting on a T-shirt with a song lyric from my favorite song on it, I pulled on my jeans and switched my flats for my sneakers, and ran a brush through my hair again, I grabbed my phone and pulled on my favorite hoodie, leaving after grabbing a snack, I walked to the park, finding Ein waiting for me, he was wearing jeans and a white hoodie with a blue hood "ready?" he asked "yes" we went to the movie theater, talking as we did so, again, mostly about the alpha male, it was odd to only have one alpha, in high school at least, we finally made it to the theater, Ein looked at the posters "we could watch Murder On The Orient Express" he offered "sure, I've heard good things about that movie, and the book" I commented Ein bought tickets, insisting I let him pay, we grabbed some (f/m/s) and then went into the theater, the movie was longer than I thought it was, but it was worth it "okay, I did not see that ending coming" I commented, as we left the theater Ein shook his head "I read the book, but it was surprising the first time I read it" he added, I looked at my phone "I have to go" "parents?" "I wish" I muttered darkly "see you tomorrow" I left, not letting him say anything else I got back to my apartment and paused as I started unlocking the door, I placed my forehead to the door and let out the breath I had been holding "he doesn't know, he couldn't he didn't mean it" I muttered, I took a deep breath then let myself into my apartment, I plugged my phone in then started on my homework, suddenly thankful the teachers gave in-depth homework that required all my focus, it took my mind off what Ein had said, and what, he, had said this morning, I suddenly gasped in realization, dropping my history textbook on the floor with a dull thunk, "Dad wanted me to help him" I said, thinking out loud "oh Irene, oh Irene help me" I muttered, standing up and starting to pace across the floor "he cannot know, he thinks it's something else," I twisted my pencil in my hands, snapping the wood, I dropped the pieces on the floor, "Dad told him" I picked up my phone, fingers hesitating over the keypad, I let out a breath and typed in my fathers work number, he didn't pick up, I hung up before the answering machine could beep "okay, it's okay (Y/n), it's better that he didn't pick up, it's better that way" I muttered to myself "it's much better this way" I looked at my desk and sighed, shutting down my computer, my focus was shattered, it was no use anymore, I threw on my pajamas, then looked at my phone again, I picked it up, and typed Dad's office again, his secretary picked up this time on the third ring "how may I help you?" her peppy bright voice asked "I'd like to speak with my father, Amanda" "that's Miss. Snow to you, (Y/n), your father is a very busy man, child don't bother him with your broken toys and bad test grades" she hung up and I sighed, plugging my phone in again, and heading to my room, turning off the light and perking my ears up as I did so, I got into bed and my mind raced Amanda was just as frustrating as ever, and Dad wasn't going to talk to me "oh Nether no" I muttered, talking to my Mom would be the best thing to do, but I couldn't face her, not now, I drifted into an uneasy sleep. (A/N not my best work, but hey! Backstory! We'll be learning more about (Y/n)'s parents and backstory and how she ended up in PDH soon in up coming chapters, if this seems rushed, I'm sorry I just wanted to get something out, anyway, have a nice day, Lia~Chan out!)
