Heal
Darkness enveloped you. It was all you saw, all you could feel, all you could breathe. You tried to move, but you couldn't do anything. A light began to appear in the distance, and your body involuntarily ran towards it. You abruptly stopped yourself before you could get any further.
"No, I can't go yet. I need to see Seán again," you thought as you turned around. "Wake up! Wake up! Please, just wake up!" You thought as you began to shout. "Wake up, (Y/N)! You have to wake up!" Suddenly, you felt as if you were falling and you couldn't see anything.
Your eyes snapped open as you took a deep breath of air. A pair of arms were wrapped around you and were lightly shaking you. "(Y/N), wake up! Please, wake up!" You gingerly placed a hand on your boyfriend's arm and looked up at him.
"I'm here, Seán," you croaked out as you stared into his ocean eyes that were filled with worry and sorrow.
"(Y/N)?! Oh thank God!" Seán exclaimed as he hugged you. You winced at the pain from your recent wound and he quickly pulled away. "Sorry," he muttered as he put pressure on the stab wound. "Are you alright? Is everything okay? What happened? Is the baby ok-"
You shushed Seán's interrogation by putting a finger to his lips. "I'm okay, I think. Just let me breath for a little bit. Maybe you should, I don't know, call an ambulance or something."
"We can't, " he replied with a sullen tone. "They won't understand the hell we've bren through. They will think we're insane, and, hey, maybe we are," he chuckled as he ran a hand through his hair.
"Well I need medical attention, Seàn, and so does the baby," you weakly said.
"I know a guy," he smirked as he typed the numbers into his phone and held it to his ears.

A knock on the door a few minutes later sent Jack sprinting to the door. He swung it opeb and a familiar face emerged. "Oh no," you thought as you instantly recognized him.
"Mark, come on in, please," Jack said as he gestured inside. The man stepped in the house and instantly his eyes fell on you.
"Oh my God, (Y/N)!" Mark exclaimed as he rushed towards you. "How does he know me? Last time I 'met' him he was a doctor who turned into Dark. Maybe he's one of Jack's friends," you pondered as he kneeled in front of you. You were hesitant to be near him at first as you recounted what had happened last time you were near him. He quickly opened his bag and began to shuffle things around. Finally, he found what he was looking for. "May I?" He asked as he gently and politely gripped the end of your shirt. You nodded an approval and he pulled your shirt up to just under your bra. He quickly assessed the wound before pouring a liquid on it that made it burn. Seán rushed to your side and gripped your hand as you bit your tongue in an attempt to not scream. "Stitches," Mark mumbled under his breath as he rummaged around in his bag some more. He finally found what he needed and turned his attention back to the wound. "I'm going to stitch you up, okay, (Y/N)?"
"Yes, that's fine. Is it anything serious?" You replied, wincing at the pain of Mark stitching you up.
"From what I can tell, no. It seems to only have torn the tissues and a little muscle. I'm sure it hurts like a bitch, but I think you'll be alright," he said as he carefully and intricately stitched your wound together.
"What about the baby?" Seán blurted out.
Mark looked up from his work for a few minor seconds as he exchanged glances between the two of you. "Really?" He questioned as a large grin swept over his face. He quickly remembered his task at hand and turned his attention back to it. "I'm so happy for you too. I can't tell right now; I'd need to perform an ultrasound on her to check on the little one."
Jack's face dropped at those words. "And we can only do those at hospitals, right?"
Mark finished the stitches and looked up. "I'm afraid so. And by the way you sounded on the phone there's no way they wouldn't admit you two to the loony bin."
"I'm sure it's alright," you assured Jack. He pitifully smiled down at you as you smiled back. You reached up and cupped his face while mouthing "I love you". He returned the gesture and planted a kiss on your forehead.
"I just need to bandage this up and you should be good to go, (Y/N)," he began as he pulled out his equipment and began the task of wrapping the wound. "Now, you won't have full range of movement for a few days. Pain is expected, so just take these pain killers," he shoved a bottle in Jack's direction. "Don't overdue your movements. I would prescribe you to be bedridden for at least three days to ensure a healthy and safe healing of the tissues and muscles. After those days slowly work your way up back to normal function. This will probably take weeks so be patient. Also, I-"
"Mark, stop being a goddamn doctor for a few minutes and chill," Seán said with a chuckle.
Mark hushed his "doctor talk" and packed up his supplies. He offered to assist you to your bedroom and you declined. After nearly face-planting after trying to stand up, you eagerly accepted his offer and leaned on him and Seán as they escorted you to your room. They gently laid you down on the bed and you groaned with pain, but gave them both a weak smile and expressed your thanks to them.
Seán and Mark left after making sure you were alright and comfortable. As it was terribly late, Seán told Mark to stay the night and showed him to the guest room. After settling everyone in for the night, Seán left Mark's room and made his way back to you. Suddenly, a sharp pain pounded in his head causing him to gasp from the sudden pain. He gripped his hair in an attempt to make it stop, but the pain only increased. Seán's ears began to ring and caused him to groan from pain and grip the wall to keep him stable. Though the ringing was so loud, he could hear a voice through it.
Did you miss me, Jackaboy?
[A/N: Hey guys! So, the second half of this chapter with Mark in it is kind of a joke to lighten the mood of the story so far. I had fun writing it and I hope you all enjoyed it too! :)]
