A/n: Thank you to every reader who is reading my fanfiction! I am so glad to have you! I also hope you subscribe to my channel, RD Castillo's YouTube Diary! Thank you so much!

Severus Snape doesn't know what to do after he had confessed that he was once a Death Eater as the boy with whom he accepted to take care of seemed to be aloof and scared whenever they meet. He wanted to repair their relationship but it scared him more when he saw Professor Quirrell walk limply around. He also saw blood dripping away from his black coat. He also began to theorize that he might have tried to find the Philosopher Stone that he and then other professors protect in the castle as the hall that he just got out from was one of the forbidden rooms. Hagrid had placed a three-headed dog at the top of the entrance where the stone could be, and he believed that the wound Quirrell had was actually a dog bite. He wanted to ask him about the wound but he decided to just let him be as he has a class to attend.

"Bloody dog!" screamed Quirrell. "Why would they place such a monster!? I should have killed it, so I can pass!"

His words surprised Snape making him stop walking. It looked like Quirrell wanted to actually take the stone, and more so, it shocked him when the man known to stutter wasn't stuttering. In his mind, he knew that he should report it to Dumbledore but he has no evidence, and so, he decided to wait for longer to observe his actions. If he turned out to be a dangerous person, he knew he had to act immediately to protect Harry and all of Hogwarts.

Quirrell looked at him in surprise. "P-Profess-or S-Snape! W-Why... are you here?"

"Shouldn't it be me who should ask what you were doing?" Snape asked him. "It looks like you have a big wound. You should go immediately to Madam Pomfrey to heal that."

"Thank... you for... y-your k-kindness, Professor Snape! I will take care of my wound."

Snape chose to walk again but then, he stopped to ask him, "How did you get that wound? I am just curious where you got that big wound."

Professor Quirrell tightened his lips, and he just kept on walking and his question fell on deaf ears. His actions made Snape doubt him more about his motives and why he's really in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry but he also knew that he can't just think about him as he had to concentrate on keeping some of his salary so that he can buy Harry a very good broom as his way to tell him that he was really sorry for his actions when he was very young.

...

It was in the afternoon a day later after Snape and Quirrell met at the 3rd level of the castle when a lot of students and teachers were in the Great Hall. It was at that day when a hoard of owls dropped envelopes, newspapers, and letters from their guardians and relatives. Harry's owl, Hedwig, had dropped two envelopes, a roll of newspaper, and a very huge parcel covered in paper. The huge parcel didn't luckily fall on anyone or any objects as it could have destroyed glasses and goblets.

Harry first rolled out the newspaper, and it shocked him to see a Daily Prophet Newspaper.

"Something is missing in Gringgots?" screamed Harry. He and his friends were all eating lunch together in one long table even if they were all from different houses. "Could it have been stolen? No. That's impossible! The bank is difficult for a thief! That place has a dragon inside!"

Hermione was repulsed when she heard that there's a dragon inside Gringotts. She had been inside that bank with his parents who were both surprised to see goblins and all the legends they thought were fictional were actually real. "If there's a dragon that protects the bank, it could have been stolen by a very powerful witch or wizard!"

"Who can fight a wild dragon? As far as I know, I was told by my dragon-nerd brother that the dragon will know if something was being stolen in the bank," Ron said to them before he wolfed down a piece of meatloaf. After drinking some apple juice, he continued, "The goblins just trapped the dragon inside the building! Ever since then, it guarded Gringotts' Bank! My brother's dragon doesn't seem that wild, actually as they looked like they're naturally domestic and won't survive without humans riding them but the dragon in the bank would and could eat thieves."

"What's missing anyway? The newspaper didn't say anything." Harry creased his forehead as he touched his lightning bolt scar. "You-Know-Who is dead, right? He won't be trying to get back as a living being again with a missing philosopher's stone."

"I believe many in the Wizarding World will agree that he should stay dead," Dudley replied to him as he sat next to his cousin. "Mom told me everything about your parents to me by letter, anyway. She sounded worried that I am here but I assured her that I'll be okay."

"Can't we just read the news that you just received by owl today, Harry?" Alwyna asked him. "All of us wanted to hear the whole report."

He gave the letter to Alwyna after that and the next thing he did was to open an envelope. At the time he opened the letter, it was a surprise to him to see his own father-figure, Severus Snape to write a long letter even if they could just talk privately. Since it was a private letter, he returned it back to the envelope. It was then he opened another envelope, but at the time he opened the envelope and read what was written, it surprised him to see a letter coming from Nicholas Flamel himself.

"I got a letter from Nicholas Flamel, the known wizard that created the red stone!" Harry screamed. "Why would he write to me?"

"He did write to you?" Dudley asked him. "What did he tell you?"

"Why would he write to you?" Alwyna asked him. "Very few people could be close to him."

Harry gulped a lot of his saliva. He doesn't know why the philosopher would write to him, too but as far as he was concerned, his guardian was close to him as he was the one who always gave them potions in Privet Drive. "Maybe the letter wasn't really mine. He just wrote my name so that I can tell Professor Snape about his letter. They're close, you know?"

"What did Nicholas Flamel tell you, then?" Hermione asked him. "Care to tell us?"

"He was only telling us to protect his heart that was inside Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry currently," he told them. "The Keeper of the Grounds were entrusted to bring it to Hogwarts School as he had felt that his heart's in danger of getting stolen by a lost spirit in Gringotts' Bank!"

Hermione smiled and she had a very cunning conclusion that made the circle of friends to have their mouths open wide. "It's possible that it's the Philosopher's Stone! I'm sure of it!"

"How can you be so sure of that, Hermione?" Ron asked her. "What if you're wrong?"

"We just need to ask Hagrid," she said to them. "Isn't he the Keeper of the Grounds?"

"What's that huge parcel, anyway?" Alwyna asked Harry. "That looks really huge."

Harry carried it up to the table after his dishes magically vanished. He slowly opened it up, and to the surprise of his companions, they saw a very slick and polished brown broom. Alwyna was also able to see that the broom's brand was the Nimbus and it was very brand new. "Nimbus 2000?"

"Who gave it to you?" Alwyna asked him. "You'll really be a good seeker while you're in use of that broom!"

He looked back again at the parcel and saw a small letter that was written in a small cardboard. He picked it up and read to his friends: "My past was full of mistakes. To you, my dear son, I will do my best to take care of you. -Severus Snape."

Harry sighed. "Thank you for the gift, Dad. I'll be sure to win the School Competition this year!"
