Frisk's POV

It had been a long time since that day. Since the day I returned to G. His words were still burned into my memory... "We never broke up to begin with". He had kept an extra close eye on me from that day forward. He literally never left my side. He seemed to get the idea that it was too much when he tried to follow me into the bathroom. I would send a glare and he would give this cute little shy smile. Shy... Never thought I'd use that as a word to describe G of all people...

Papyrus and Flowey had been in on it, the return I mean. The only person to be surprised was G. Things had been going so well for two years, as G and I had modified the power in the underground. We used a small room behind his house as our lab, as we knew Gaster was still hidden around the real lab, and G didn't want me anywhere near it until he found a way to kill Gaster. Which... He wouldn't have to say twice. I wanted no part of that damn place.

Two years.... And then it happened.... The core was going to explode. But we had prepared for this.... We had a plan. G and I grabbed Papyrus and flowey and we headed to the barrier.... The broken, barrier. The only safe way out of this was to get to the surface and that was exactly where we were going. I wasn't sure about what we would do once we got up there, as I knew it was all torn down but perhaps we could find somewhere else to be?

That's what I thought at least... What we saw though.... That was the complete opposite....

It.... It was new.... The torn down buildings and rubble and dust and bodies.... All gone... In it's place was a small village. A monster and human village..... What.... What happened in a five year span that changed humanity? G and I glanced back at one another.

"Do you know what's happening?" He asked softly, staring at the city in awe.

I shook my head. "I know about as much as you right now..." I replied, looking over the fresh land, grass and beautiful flowers growing everywhere. It looked as though nothing had happened...

Flowey also just stared. He didn't know what to think or even do. Where as... Papyrus was already bounding down the hill with joy. He missed the surface, you could really tell.... His more childish, immature side really came into view in times like these. Regardless, I was kind of excited to explore.

We set Flowey down and he slipped out of the pot, making his own way down. G had taken my hand and gave me a reassuring smile, as if sensing my small worry... Telling me it was okay... I smiled back, deciding if anything would happen, he would go ham and crawl on my head and hiss or something. It would be fine.

So without any further note, We walked down, hand in hand. As we started to reach the bottom we got even more confused as a crowd was waiting for us. Monsters like Toriel, Asriel, Undyne, Alphys... Mettaton even, all waiting for them, clapping. It was great to see them and all but.... One question was present and one only....

What the hell was happening?

I could sense G was asking the same question....

Other humans were present as well, also clapping. As Toriel hugged me, she informed that Alphys was able to hack the cameras in the underground, and was able to watch us. That being said, I simply rolled my eyes and let happiness take over. Everyone was safe... Except... I still didn't know where my brother was.... Perhaps he was amongst the growing village? I had hoped....

"Oh my child! You two are the star crossed lovers of the village! I am so proud of you for finding your partner... " She started, hugging tighter.

I chuckled softly and hugged back, feeling Undyne and Alphys join the hug as well. "Eh, things happen right?" I replied, unsure of what to say exactly...

After she let me go, She and Asgore had presented a small home that they had saved exclusively for G and I.... we looked minorly nervous. We didn't... quite... understand... We were too tired to deny anything that was offered and when G and I were left to our own thoughts, he pulled me back, wrapping his strong arms around me from behind and kissed my shoulder. "Star crossed couple eh?" He thought aloud.

I leaned into his hold, a soft smile on my lips. "Something seems off....they're cheering for us like... they were watching actors in a movie.... Is this only freaking me out?" I asked.

He took a breath and shrugged, burying his face within my neck. "It does... but right now I'm too tired to question anything..."

I snickered and turned to meet his tired features, wrapping my arms around his neck. "Of course you are ya lazy bag of bones... "

He scoffed, resting his hands on my hips and staring lovingly into my eyes. "Hey this lazy bones Helped three other souls, and his own, escape an exploding core..."

Oh so that's his excuse? Two can play this game... "Yeahhhhh I guess that's a lot for you.." I started with a smirk. "Perhaps a bit of intimacy is out of the question for the night then?~" I teased.

Just then the dancing flames I loved to watch in his eye was lit once more and I found myself, back against the wall. I laughed. I knew that he never turned down sex. There was definitely something wrong if he did. He moved my head to the side and started sucking harshly on the soft skin of my neck and I smiled. "I'll take that as a no?~" I teased more.

He let out a heavily lusted growl. "You know I would never.... Ever turn down the chance to get you in bed~" He mumbled in my ear before biting down on my neck for emphasis.

It was starting to get hot now, and I blushed, taking in a gasp of air. Originally it was strictly for tease, I didn't actually think he'd take me up on it.... But... at the same time I had... and this was exactly what I'd wanted.... Besides with that voice I was bound to jump his bones... heh..

After I gave in and events took their place I fell onto the bed, a panting mess. He had fallen beside me, chuckling breathlessly. I did the same, running a hand through my hair before I rested my head on his chest and fell asleep... We would sort out this shit tomorrow... for now? It was just us.... And I couldn't ask for more.
