The next day, at Zenith's and Thalia's monastery home, the Elder God, Zenith, walks down the stairs and into the main room and stopped upon seeing his wife, Thalia, in the main room with a few bruises on her face and her duffle bag.

"Thalia." Zenith said.

"Hi, Zenny." Thalia greeted her husband with a small smile.

Zenith and Thalia exchange small smiles at each other as she puts her duffle bag on the coffee table and he walks up to her and they embrace in a hug.

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

Klaus walks down the stairs and into the courtyard, and stopped walking upon seeing his wife, Christy, sitting on the sofa with her duffle bag on the coffee table.

"Chris?" Klaus said to his wife.

Christy small smiles at her husband and gets up to her feet. "Hi, Klaus."

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other. He walks up to her and they embrace in a hug. They gently pulls away from the hug and shares a kiss.

And Klaus gently caresses her cheek with his hand, looking at the bruises on her face.

"I'm okay. I'm fine." Christy reassured her husband's concerns. "I'm fine."

"How's Thalia?" Klaus asked.

"She's fine." Christy told him. "After the riverboat dropped us off at the dock, Thalia contacted an Uber."

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other.

"Where's Luna and Trinity?" Christy asked.

"With their cousin, Nikole, at Camp Orasani." Klaus replied. "Kol, Davina, and Rebekah are returning back to New Orleans, and Ana has taken Elijah on a date."

"Elijah and Ana should go on dates some more often." Christy said.

"Yeah, of course. But I understand that Elijah or Ana didn't romantically pursue each other because of Hayley." Klaus said.

"Hayley's death was hard on Elijah, so, yeah, I get why Ana given him space to heal." Christy said.

"You are sentimental, you know." Klaus said with a small smile.

"I can be when I want to be." Christy said.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other and they kiss each other again.

After-awhile, in their bedroom, Klaus and Christy lays in bed, asleep, shirtless, wearing his boxer briefs and her undies, after a passionate intimacy. The bedcover covers the lower half of his body and her torso and lower half of his body.

Klaus slowly wakes up and gently snuggled up to Christy and gently holds her hand in his hand.

Christy wakes up and looks at Klaus with a small smile. "Buneas marneing." ( "Good morning." ) She spoke in ancient Orasanian language.

Klaus looks at Christy and she looks at him.

"That means "Good morning" by the way." Christy told him.

Klaus small smiles at her and speaks in ancient Orasanian language. "Buneas marneing." ( "Good morning" ). It's been a while since you and I have been intimate with each other."

"I know." Christy said.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other and chuckles.

Later on that day, after redressing themselves, Klaus had left for St. Louis Cathedral to meet up with Elijah and Ana. Christy is sitting on the fountain.

"Hey, Mom." Luna greeted her mother, along with Trinity.

"Hey, sweethearts." Christy greeted her daughters.

Christy, Luna and Trinity shares a hug. Luna and Trinity sits down on either side of their mother.

"When did you get back?" Trinity asked.

"This morning." Christy replied. "So, you guys want to make a crostata with me? I did say."

Christy, Luna and Trinity exchange small smiles at each other.

Shortly after...

Christy, Luna and Trinity have a blueberry crostata. And gently high fives each other.

"Smells good." Klaus said.

"We made a blueberry crostata." Trinity told her Dad with a smile.

"Can't wait to try it." Klaus said, sitting at the kitchen countertop.

Klaus, Christy, Luna and Trinity exchange small smiles at each other.

ST. ANNE'S CHURCH FIGHTING GYM

Christy is sitting on a free-standing punching bag, wearing her uniform outfit.

Christy is sparring on the free-standing punching bag. Ana slowly walks inside.

"I like your uniform outfit." Ana complimented with a small smile.

"Thanks, Ana." Christy thanked her best friend with a glance and a small smile. "I'm just trying it out."

Ana sits down on the bench. "Are you sure that you want to explore The Nexus Realm again?"

"Yeah, I'm sure." Christy replied as she stopped sparring and looks at Ana. "The Squinox will portal to The Nexus Realm for 24 hours. We'll just pop over there and pop back."

"So, who's going along with you?" Ana asked.

"I already know that Klaus and Elijah are coming along, Kol, Rebekah, Marcel, Max, Gia, Mathias, Freya, and Zenith and Thalia. And plus, you." Christy told her as she walks over to Ana and sits down beside her on the bench.

"Do we need to pack anything?" Ana asked.

"Backpacks, granola bars and some water." Christy told her.

"Alright." Ana said.

"But you don't have to go if you want to, Ana." Christy said to her.

"Christy? You're my best friend. So, yeah, I'm coming with you." Ana said.

Ana and Christy exchange small smiles at each other.

ALGIERS / MARCEL'S LOFT

That late afternoon, Christy is sitting on the windowsill, looking out of the window.

"How are things with you?" Marcel asked, gently sitting beside her on the windowsill.

"I'm fine." Christy replied. "How's Josh?"

"He's fine. He sometimes does shifts at Rousseau's with Declan." Marcel told her. "Gia has told me that we're visiting The Nexus Realm again."

"Yeah, we are." Christy said to him. "The last time we visited The Nexus Realm, we explored it, and now, we're gonna visit again. All you need is a backpack."

"Alright then." Marcel said. "Just let me know."

"I will." Marcel said.

That evening, in the courtyard, Christy is sitting at the table with a plate of slice of blueberry crostata with a fork while reading a book on her Kindle.

"An evening snack?" Klaus asked, slowly walks inside and sits at the head of the table with a small glass of bourbon laced with blood.

Christy glances at her husband as she proceeds to eat on her slice of crostata. "Yeah. And this blueberry crostata is really good."

Klaus gently breaks a piece off the crostata and eats it. "This is good."

"Are you sure that you want to come along with me when I visit The Nexus Realm again?" Christy asked him.

"Of course, I'm sure." Klaus said to her.

"Can I be honest with you?" Christy asked him.

"Sure." Klaus replied.

"It's like you've been waiting for the other shoe to drop or something." Christy said. "Klaus? I'm fine."

"I know, but I just have this feeling that something's going to happen." Klaus said to her.

"Klaus? I know you're worried about me. And I appreciate your concern. But if something happens, we will handle it, together." Christy said.

"I know." Klaus said.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other and gently holds each other's hands on the table.
