"I'M THE NEW GIRL IN THE OFFICE." bella said as she stood in the bathroom, doing her makeup. "i just graduated from nyu about a year ago. i'm fresh out of college; i guarantee you that they're not considering me."

"why not?" johnny said as he was in the bedroom, getting dressed. "you're working your ass off, princess and besides, you got your job even before you graduated, so they'd have to be insane not to consider you."

"yeah, thanks." bella laughed as she applied eyeshadow. "jenna overheard that they're supposed to be choosing potential candidates next week, around wednesday."

"and you're gonna be one of those girls." johnny said as he walked into the bathroom and wrapped his arms around bella's waist as he softly placed kisses on her shoulder. bella softly bit her lip and turned to wrap her arms around her boyfriend's neck. "i believe in you."

"why thank you, darling." bella smiled as she placed a small kiss on his nose. the couple pressed their foreheads together as bella slowly leaned in and softly placed her lips on his. "i love you."

"not as much as i love you." johnny smiled as he tucked a strand of hair behind bella's ear. he caressed bella's cheek before placing his lips on hers again. bella wrapped her arms around her boyfriend's neck as she passionately kissed him. the couple pulled away to take a breath as bella bit her lip. "jump."

"huh?" bella softly smiled as she ran her hands through his hair.

"you heard me, jump." johnny said as he wrapped his arms around bella's waist. bella leaped onto his waist, wrapping her legs around him as she held her satin bath robe in place. she reached over to move her makeup bag off of the counter and into the sink. johnny then placed bella on the counter and kissed her once again. bella ran her hands through his hair as she softly moaned.

"you don't know how much i need you." bella said in between breaths. "but we have to be somewhere."

"the guys won't care." johnny said as he placed himself in between bella and placed his hands on the sides of her body. "c'mon, quickly?"

"mhm, why not." bella smirked as she kissed him again. she played with the hem of his shirt until slipping it off, exposing his chest. as the couple continued to kiss, bella ran her hands down his arms and softly traced the veins that were now visible. "we're gonna be so late."

"i'll be quick." johnny smirked as he played with the belt of bella's satin robe.

"oh, fuck it." bella smiled as she wrapped her legs around johnny's waist. "being late won't hurt."

"product manager? at calvin klein?" chrissy said as she opened up her budwiser bottle. "that's such a great job. did you get an interview?"

"not yet. they're supposed to choose candidates next week." bella sighed as she poured more champagne into her glass. "how do i feel? terrified."

"oh you'll be fine." jenna said. "just try not to think about it so much. i guarantee you that you'll get a spot."

"get a spot for what?" bobby said as he and the other boys approached the bar to get some more drinks.

"bella's up for a big job opening." chrissy smiled as she took a swig from her beer.

"i don't know yet, chris." bella said as she took a sip from her champagne glass and turned to bobby. "there's an opening in a higher department and i really want the job."

"and she's gonna get the job." johnny smiled as he opened up his fourth coors banquet bottle and wrapped his arms around bella's waist.

"i swear, you all are gonna jinx it." bella chuckled as she set her champagne glass down.

"what's the job anyway?" jimmy said as he grabbed another red solo cup and filled it with liquor.

"product manager." chrissy said as she set down her beer bottle. "wait – i forgot that you idiots don't know fashion. jenna honey, explain."

"she's basically gonna overlook the clothing line, the inventory; stuff like that." jenna chuckled. "so, to dumb it down, she's gonna be in charge of the clothing and inventory and she's gonna get paid a shit ton of money."

"how much?" tommy said.

"$85,000." johnny said as he took a swig of the bottle.

"as in $85,000 a year." bella said as she took a sip of champagne. "that's good money."

"shit, it's more than we all make, combined." jimmy chuckled. "how'd the interview go?"

"don't know because i don't know if i'll get a shot at this." bella said.

"okay, you've got to relax about this." chrissy said as she grabbed a couple of shot glasses and a bottle of tequila, pouring shots for the group. "you are getting that job. we all have faith in you."

"to bella, because she's gonna kick some ass and get that job." jenna smiled as she held up her shot glass.

"and to all the shit we put up with, nine-to-five." johnny laughed as the group held their glass up and drank the strong liquor.

it was now fifteen minutes 'til 1am and the party was still going strong. while chrissy, jenna, and the guys were back inside at the bar, bella and johnny were out taking a walk on the beach while having a beer. after spending some time inside dancing and drinking, they decided to sneak off for some time alone.

"my dad always brought me to malibu when i was younger." bella smiled as she pressed the beer bottle up to her lips. "i haven't come here since."

"with jimmy throwing parties up here, we'll be heading over here often." johnny said. "he always managed to steal the keys from his folks."

"oh, so this is where you brought all your girls." bella smirked.

"no, dutch would bring all the girls, i just brought the weed." johnny laughed. "he still owes me for that one time in '82."

"yeah you're never getting that back." bella laughed as she intertwined her hand with his. as she continued to drink her beer, johnny admired the brunette; the glow of her skin under the moonlight, her hair, the way her jean shorts hugged her figure. bella turned to find him staring and laughed. "john, stop looking at me like that."

"like what?" johnny laughed as he brushed his thumb over the back of her palm and scanned her body with his blue eyes.

"like that." bella laughed as she bit her lip. "you stare at me as if you're staring at a goddess or something."

"i've told you how beautiful you are before." johnny smiled as he tucked a strand of hair behind bella's ear. "kiss me."

"you're full of it." bella smirked as she leaned in and pressed her lips onto his. the couple kissed passionately as their tongues intertwined. as the kisses began to heat up, their brief moment of passion ended once they heard voices.

"hey lovebirds!" chrissy shouted. "the party's just getting started, you two can suck on each other's faces later!"

"and then there's them." bella sighed as she pressed her forehead against his. "let's head back."

"or we can stay here." johnny said pulling bella back and wrapping his arms around her waist.

"mhm, nope." bella laughed as she walked back to the beach house.

"tease."
