You never know how hard it is to choose if someone should die or live. It's harder to watch a friend in pain and you just can't do anything about it. let me tell you about the world after it ended but First, we have to start at the beginning, it all started one humble Monday morning "Timothy breakfast!" my sister called me down for breakfast. Ok, you're probably wondering why my mom isn't doing this. Well, I live with my sister, Elizabeth, she's a tall, blonde woman with freckles, greenish blue eyes and is very friendly. I walked into the kitchen which is a large room that stands out from the rest of the house due to it being remodeled 3 times mostly because the house is 100 years old. I eat My eggs and grabbed my backpack then ran out to the bus stop. As I was waiting, a new kid with dark hair,, brown eyes, dark black jeans, and wearing a black hoodie walked up. I asked what his name was and he just stared at me with a creepy gaze. Then the bus stopped to pick us up, I got on and instantly see the driver who was a large bald man with dark brown eyes I then moved down the long bus and sat next to my friend David. He was a tall kid with platinum blonde hair, blue eyes, and a pair of Jordan's. He asked "what the new kid's name was" I replied by saying, "I don't know his name but he's kind of creepy." As the bus stopped to drop us off, we noticed a large group of people gathered around what looked like a few kids fighting. David ran out of the bus towards the fight. I then noticed that his brother, Cross, was on the ground being hit over and over again. Even from here I could see the blood oozing out of his mouth. David shoved his way through the crowd and body slammed the other kid. Suddenly the teachers ran out to stop the fight. I went inside to wait for David and I saw the principal walk in with David, Cross and the other kid, I don't know his name but he's never nice to anyone. I guess his dad was arrested when he was seven then when he got out he went to Mexico.

In our 5th period, we were learning about history with Mrs. Philp, an older woman with glasses and grey hair. She's my favorite teacher though I never could find out why history is so important. Mrs.Philp always says "history repeats itself," but I don't understand what that means so I just nod my head like I understand what she means. finally, David is back, he sits beside me and the redheaded girl Katrina, she's the smartest one in the class. Then the high pitched bell rings. The bell is one of the older ones with the bell with the hammer it reminds me how old this school is. In 7th period everyone stares at the clock waiting for the bell to ring so they can rush to their lockers and run home, it almost looks like a riot. When the bell rings I head straight to the bus because I already graded my stuff like I always do at last hour. David and Cross are already on the bus. They seem to be arguing about something so I set across from them so I can ask what they're arguing about. "I can't believe Cross got into a fight he's so immature," said David yeah he's lucky he only got a busted lip. Then the new kid sits beside me I started to shake a little.

He said "Hi I'm Aaron" which startled me because I didn't expect him to talk. "I'm Timothy so you're the new kid," I ask. "Yeah I moved from Green Lake," said Aaron oh well welcome to Muscatine I say with a friendly voice he smiles and asks if I want to hang out later today. Sure I have to do my homework first. Then the bus stops to drop us off, David gets off as well so he can help me with my homework. As we walk the rest of the way home, we quickly notice my neighbor's German shepherd got out. I was quickly frightened because the dog was mean, he was a big dog that was brown with black spots and had a scar above his eye where a cat had snagged him. The dog quickly noticed us but luckily the owner had grabbed him and took him inside. "Man they need to fix that gate," said David I must agree that dog terrorizes the neighborhood every time he gets out. When we got home, my brother-in-law Jake was sitting on the couch watching Lost. He turned over and smiled, he asked how long David would be here. David just said, "until my mom calls." Jake just said "ok but if it gets too dark I'm going to take you home." Later on, that night David was gone and the night was set I was up in my room playing Xbox then the power went out. I went downstairs to check what was going on, then the ground shook and there was a loud sound from outside I went out to see what the sound was and what I saw next made me tremble in fear. It was a huge fire with a giant smoke cloud. The fire was 4 miles away and I could still see it. Then the power went back on and a warning alert flashed across the tv screen. It was saying get to a underground shelter meteors are coming down on the earth. At that moment my brother in law packed our blankets and clothes throw them in the car and told me and my sister to get in I asked to pick up Aaron. so we drove to his house to get him his mom was crying and he was trying to get her up. My brother Jake ran out and picked her up and brought her to the car Aaron followed and sat next to me. I told him where we were going he just said ok and looked down in disappointment I would've asked him what was wrong but I didn't want to bother him. on our way, David called to tell me that he was already at the bunker that Jake had bought for emergencies a large one with a kitchen a living room and 9 bedrooms it is like an underground mansion.when we got there Jake grabbed everything in the trunk and put it inside the bunker Aaron and his mother walked in after us David and cross had already decided to share a room I had a room to myself Aaron and his mom shared a room my sister Elizabeth and Jake shared a room with David's mom. The next day sound like world war two had broken out above us but we were fine due to the 100 hundred barrels of gas in the generator room and the 2 years worth of food in the pantry and 1 more years of food in the meat fridge.
