"Didn't you want to preach to Ragini? Choti Maa and Bhai have chided her and you being her sister were silent! It's quiet weird, Swara." Laksh was wrapping up his works while Swara sat beside him sipping black coffee, zoned out.
"Swara..." Laksh shook her bringing her out of the trance.
"We should have been at hospital. I mean, Sanky is there. But what if any emergency happen?" Swara shook her head trying to calm down herself. Her heart and brain are at loggerheads since she returned to Maheswari Mansion leaving behind Ragini with Sanskar.
"It's fine. Just speak out what's disturbing you, you'll feel light. And if you strongly feel that we should go, we can."
"No, Laksh. Sanky is there and he can; he will take care of Ragu." Swara smiled sipping her coffee.
"Answer to my question?" Laksh supported his chin with his palm leaning beside her. "Why didn't you say anything to Ragini?"
"You think I didn't say anything?" Swara smirked surprising Laksh. "I took an amazing session for her. It's just that I wanted that to be between us. How can I desert my sister teaming up with others? I have said what I wanted to, and we sorted it out." She shrugged her shoulder making Laksh smile.
"Aww. How good my wife is!!" He grinned batting his eyes dramatically making her roll her eyes. "That I'm!"

"It's not her forehead but her brain has been injured, huh!" Sujatha murmured walking towards the stairs while Annapurna walked besides her chuckling. "Now should I invent..."
"Mom, why are you talking alone?" Sanskar asked with a frown seeing his beloved mother walking in her usual 100km/h speed mumbling to herself.
"Finally, you're! Here, take this! Go and handle your laadli." She handed over the food tray she was holding to a surprised Sanskar who rolled his eyes. "You know what; your Ragz' brain is dysfunctional now. You go and do whatever you can, but I want this milk and fruits over.
Don't know what medicine affected her brain this much!! She is throwing tantrums more than a 5 year old kid would do. Let me call Shiv(Dr.). She will be back to normal on getting some injections."
Sanskar giggled seeing his hyper-active mom clearly irritated with his wife.
"Look Chora! You're the one who is pampering her like this. Listen to me carefully, if you dare to make her worse, Ramji ki Kasam, I'll make you eat her food along with yours. If you're husband, be that not her father. You both, Swara and Pari are making me insane. There's a limit for everything. Did you understand or what?
It has been just one week since she got discharged while she tries to skip food as if she is strong enough to run a marathon. She thinks of herself as some superwoman. Why are you standing silent like a statue? Don't you have anything to say? Look, don't get me irritated more. Go and feed her. I want the glass and plate clean by 15 minutes.
And let me remind you, it MUST go to HER stomach!! All are behaving as if I don't have any other work here." Sujatha didn't wait enough to let Sanskar reply to her and stomped away.
Sanskar stood flabbergasted at his mom hyper-outburst but soon a smile erupted on his face. It was common since a couple of days.
"Poor Ragini, she had the same set of food an hour ago." Annapurna said giggling. "Sujatha is behaving as if 1 day passes within 4 hours. She was planning to feed Ragini well four times a day and now it has become every hour in a day."
Sanskar approached his room with food for his Ragz, the newfound spoilt child of the home. He was happy, super happy to see the new face of Ragini. She started to throw tantrums, whine and pout like a child, twitch her lips and roll her eyes which were very new to Maheswaris; even for Swara. Even the sadness of her being silent didn't seem to last seeing her cute antics.
Maheswari house were back to normal once again. The only difference was everyone would compete to pamper Ragini making her feel suffocated sometimes. And there was their maid Madhu, who would compensate if anyone fails to miss the timetable. Everything has a threshold; even her eating capacity has! And her only savior would be Sanskar and sometimes her Mishti Maa.

Days continued to pass normally. Ragini's recovery was quite speedy. All thanks to the medicines, extra care from Sanskar, more food from Sujatha and extra love from others.
"There's limit for everything right, Ragu? This Laksh is always like this. He just forgets that he's married. How can he react to other girls when I'm beside him? *sigh* Do you know how many times I warned that idiot girl, what was her name, yeah Shanaya. But she's such a leech. She has messaged at 11 p.m. Can you believe that? Let me join back office. She won't be even able to count the .... Are you even listening Ragu?" Swara shrieked seeing Ragini munching on her apple slice without bothering her rant.
Ragini simply twitched her lips along with eye roll showing her disinterest while Swara pouted at her sister.
"You have nothing else to talk?" Ragini conveyed through actions.
"Well, I know. Shanaya is such a boring subject. Actually I enjoy Laksh's condition sometimes. Lady Hitler and Shanaya – these women make our husbands realize how lucky they're!"
Sanskar and Swara could understand Ragini's gestures very well that they made sure that one of them always stayed with her. That didn't push others behind. With days passing by, everyone talked as usual, understanding her gestures and lip movement.
While both the girls giggled sharing their snacks, their husbands made an entry to make the moments blissful. All burst out laughing teasing Laksh and stopped all of a sudden surprised hearing a hoarse voice in between.
The trio stared a flabbergasted Ragini who was blinking her eyes shifting her gaze to Sanskar and later to Swara. She touched her throat while her face glowed up instantly with a broad grin. 'The damage is not that much we had apprehended. She will be fine sooner than we expected.' And it was returning back to her taking baby steps.
She let out a silent squeal like an infant, throwing her fist lightly into air but ended up writhing in pain. Her deeper wounds were yet to be healed.
"Ragz/Ragu/Ragini" All the three rushed to her assistance.
"This girl!!! I told you not to do such things on getting excited." Sanskar said sternly.
It didn't take much time for Ragini to throw her next tantrum. She twitched her lips, turned her face away from him with her hands folded by her chest.
All Sanskar, Swara and Laksh could do was to smile at her antics.
"Ragu....." Swara squealed, easing the moment with a soft bear hug; lightening Ragini's mood.
'I WANT TO TALK TO YOU FIRST, ONCE I GET MY VOICE BACK!' Sanskar smiled remembering the slip she handed over to him; the first slip she wrote.

Ragini was staring the sleeping form of Sanskar besides her. He was indeed cute while sleeping. She couldn't help to control the grin, making her struggle to purse her lips by staring the ceiling. But who is she kidding; she ended up staring him with a grin.
Fed up by her own actions, she tapped Sanskar continuously bringing him out from his slumber. Of course, she is not that much mahaan anymore!
"Huh, Ragz... What happened? Is it paining? You want something?" He sat up rubbing his eyes.
"Water." She gestured.
Sanskar looked her in confusion while she held up the empty water jug.
"Ohh.." He smiled and went to get the extra water bottle he kept on the table. Walking past the window, he noticed a blurred hooded figure at the other side of their main gate, getting into a car and driving off.
Disturbed a bit by what he saw, he ended up hitting the footboard resulting the water being thrown over Ragini and her part of bed.
"Sorry!" Sanskar bit his tongue apologetically and held her ears while she blinked smiling.
He hurriedly approached her and in fear of her being soaked in water, he scooped her up in his arms while she whimpered a little in pain on the sudden stretch of her muscles.
"A few seconds" He pacified her. Ragini snaked her hands around his neck, a brighter grin broke out from her lips. The way he cared about her, she was falling badly for him each moment, deeper and deeper.
Later, Swara was called to change her clothes, Sanskar drifted to sleep on the couch and Ragu continued her staring sessions eventually drifting to her sweet dreams.

After few days
Adarsh, Sanskar and Laksh were having back-to-back meetings, discussions, factory visits and client visits which were postponed since the party, giving them no breaks in between. But the latter managed to save Adarsh from extra-hours, so he could give enough time to Parineeti.
Sanskar was interrupted in his department meeting by Uttara's repeated calls. Laksh signaled him to attend it, taking over the discussion.
"Bhai, Ragini Bhabhi.... Aap, please come home fast." And the call ended.
Sanskar rushed out of his office to Maheswari house without wasting a second, followed by Laksh after concluding the meeting.
'RAGINI!!' He mumbled all prayers during his drive. He might not be able to endure one more blow on her.
Saying that he 'ran' to their room would be an understatement, he literally flew. There, she was sitting on their bed leaning to headrest, lost in thoughts. Sanskar couldn't read her face for a while.
Ragini held her hand out to Sanskar as she saw him, making him sit beside her.
"I want to say something" She gestured.
"Huh?" He couldn't understand her, maybe for the first time.
"I want to say something" She again gestured while he blinked blankly.
"I SAID I WANT TO SAY SOMETHING" Ragini said in soft yet hoarse voice with hope in her eyes. "TO YOU."
"Yeah, tell me! What happened? You feel any pain? Should I call doctor? And what did you want to...." His words trailed off realizing what just happened. "Ragz, you... I mean, your voice... was it really real?"
Ragini nodded her head with her lips stretched ear to ear.
"Oh MY!" Sanskar didn't know whether to laugh or cry at the moment and involuntarily wrapped his Ragz in a bear hug. "Ragz, when, I mean how? Your voice is yet to be like before, na? Does it pain?" He asked with concern which outdone his excitement. He was indeed excited; his Ragz is almost back on her feet and now her voice is also back.
Ragini gestured with fingers and said "Ittu sa!" (A bit). "It will be normal very soon, Sanskar."
"I'm so happy, so happy that I can't explain it. Did everyone know? Everyone will be happy just like me."
"Nah! Before that, I wanted to tell you how happy I'm, to have you in my life. Sanskar, when I saw blood oozing out of me, I had only one regret that I couldn't live the life I deserved. In fact, I had that life but I chose to prioritize problems above that. That few hours enlightened me what I was pushing from myself and now, I do not want to repeat the same.
Sanskar, I know how important I'm to you. And now, I want you to know that YOU'RE MY LIFE NOW and I want to live this life as a wife, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister and sister-in-law wholeheartedly, as YOUR WIFE."
Tears threatened to stumble down their eyes but their smile outshone the tears. Sanskar gently placed a soft kiss on her forehead before embracing her in a warm hug. Everything between them conveyed the care, concern, trust and understanding they had, and somewhere beneath, love which was elevating with every moment they spent together; which they didn't knew.
"I want to laugh freely like I did these days. I'm very lucky, Sanskar, to get you and our family and I don't want to disappoint God further for not making use of it. I was scared that you all will be snatched away from me like Maa, Dadaji and Dadi and from childhood, I had the trait of burying things down in my heart. And it came out in the worst manner since Swara's wedding."
"Swara's wedding? As in? Their temple marriage?"
"No, the first one; from which she went missing or should say kidnapped!"

"Bhai, the main CCTVs' footages are tampered. But, take a look at this. We have footage of backyard which captured the entrance and exit of the attacker. See!....... Damn! He is masked."
Sanskar and Laksh were in the study distressed over solving the mystery connecting the various incidents happened over the months in their family. Initially, Swara's kidnapping, threat to Ragini to marry Laksh, Ragini and Swara's grandparents' sudden death and Shekhar's accident, gas explosion and at last attack on Ragini, that too deadly.
"So the attacker had been keeping watch on Ragini. That's why he/she succeeded in not letting us know the matter. And they had been successful in it also. And threat calls are not even traceable." Laksh said connecting the dots.
"But a message would have served the purpose. And maybe they are having a track of that also! Is that possible? Of course, it would be! What's not possible these days? Smart players they're!" Sanskar leaned back on the couch. They were reaching no ends. "Hey, look!"
Sanskar drew their attention back to the footage playing in the laptop.
"Another person! That too he, yeah it's a man, is very familiar." Sanskar zoomed in the frame to take a close look of the human figure.
"I have seen that dress somewhere. Some insider.. Who can that be? He has followed the attacker, stopped confirming his escape and looked back to the direction of our room! He will know who the attacker is!"
"Or he will be allied with the attacker! Bhai, we can get to them through him. Call commissioner uncle and send this too."
"In what weird angle is that camera kept? We could have seen that face!" Sanskar groaned in irritation.
"Sir, Tea." Madhu approached the duo with their evening tea.
"Madhu, Ragini..." Sanskar's words were cut by him.
"Swara Ma'am is with her." And he left passing on a warm smile to Sanskar.
While Laksh continued to indulge in checking the photographs of the party to spot the insider.
'Bhai, look at this." Laksh called out Sanskar surprised.
"What is it? Any clu...." Sanskar's voice trailed off; his face mirroring Laksh's surprise.
"MADHU!"
•~•×✿ו~•
"I have told you not to call me like this. Neither I would be clear about what you say nor can I give any direction to you. I can't risk myself, girl! Go and do your job. I'll call back after 7." Madhu said irritated over the untimely phone call he received.
And, SanLak was almost behind him listening to the conversation.
'There is no meaning in being silent now, Laksh. We are already late. So when we get hold of him, it will be the end to his games; whatever it is, whoever he is!' They remembered what they had decided before leaving the study room.
"Why would you fear about the petty consequences if you dared enough to sneak into our home?" Sanskar glared at Madhu with his hands folded across his chest. "I think Mohan kaka should join back. Call him here, we want to meet him."
"Ba.. Baba! Baba has gone to our village. So won't be able to visit today." Madhu covered up but failed in covering his initial shock which made the brothers smirk.
"Okay. Just tell us what risk do a phone call make to you at this home? Whom are you directing and who is directing you?" Sanskar's voice boomed soon in the mansion.
"For what are you waiting? Just open you mouth and spill everything for your own good. Bhai, I think he's not gonna get this through straight words." Laksh didn't wait moment and got hold of Madhu's collar. "WE WANT ANSWERS."
Madhu closed his eyes, clenched his jaws and tightened fist in anger. He got hold of Laksh's hand, "Get your hands off me, else!"
"Else, what?" Sanskar roared agitated.
