 We kept dancing to different songs at different speeds and enjoyed ourselves.

SARA'S POV

The wedding took place in the evening and everything happened very smoothly, now it was time to get my bhabhi home. Aku, Ai and baba were crying. Asram stood there expressionless but for all those that knew him well, we knew that he was hiding his emotions. She hugged ai and baba first before hugging Asram. He held her tight and close. I smiled tearily at their bond. He whispered something to her and kissed her forehead before giving her hand in Adi bhai's. Both of them got into one of his favourite cars and drove home, to the Sharma's mansion. Mom and dad had left a few minutes earlier to get all the preparations done for the next few rituals. Asram and me left too. For this part of the rituals Akshita's side of the family was not going to be present but Asram was coming over as my fiance and Adi's best friend. The two of us got in the car and followed Adi and Akshita's car. We quickly got out and entered the house to welcome the newly married couple inside. They entered the house after Aku kicked a small pot full of some liquid mixture and rice. Mom did their aarti and welcomed both of them inside. Aku was made to stamp her hand prints on one of the walls and everyone clapped happily. After all the greetings and introductions, the entire family sat down for the next ritual, the ring competition. It was a saying that whoever won would rule the other for the rest of their lives. Everyone picked a side and started cheering for one of them.  Both of them put their hands in the bowl full of rose petals and white water. The first round was won by Akshita and I jumped happily. Then, in the next round they were both taking a lot of time. So I looked more carefully in the bowl and grinned evily. 

'Bhai, you are supposed to find the ring and not bhabhi's hand. You will find it only if you let go' I said and everyone else started teasing them too. Akshita's face turned maroon and I laughed. The next two rounds were won by bhai. After all the cheer lessened a little, all of the elders  started going towards Adiku and gave them their blessings and everyone gave them gifts. I looked around happily but something caught my eye, one of my cousins was standing too close to Asram. He looked slightly uncomfortable but did nothing to get away. 

I was fuming. As I made my way towards them, I realized the girl was none other then Aaliyaa, my maternal side cousin. She had always been jealous of me and wanted anything I had. Usually I ignored her, but she can not steal my man. He is only and only MINE. 

I stood directly behind her and tapped her shoulder, Asram looked relieved to see me but I just glared at him. 

'Hi Sara, how have you been? I was just talking to Asram and he was just telling me how gorgeous I look. No offence Sara, but I don't know why he chose you, the two of us would have made a better couple' she said moving even closer to him. I was internally fuming.

'I don't care about what you think. I believe he chose me since people always choose someone to match up to their level, and you don't match up to his level whereas I do. Atleast I have something in my brain, unlike you. I don't think there is anything underneath your wig' I replied back. She looked away embarassed. I smirked at her. 

'Now, leave his hand before I cut yours and get lost. If I ever see you lurking around him, even at a 5 foot distance, I won't spare you. He is only mine' I said and she literally ran away, probably shared shitless 😂

'And you Mr. Khanna, if you really enjoy attention from all the other girls in the world I don't know why you are marrying me' I scolded before walking away from him. I knew he was calling my name, but I didn't turn around. He could have pulled away or excused himself, why didn't he do that. I was not going to talk to him.Asram kept trying to get my attention but obviously I didn't listen. 

'Sara bacha, take Akshita to her room' mom said. 

'Mom can we follow a western tradition here?' I asked mischieveously. 

'Uh, depends. What is it beta?' dad asked. 

'Bhai has to pick bhabhi upto the room' I said. Everyone nodded in agreement and laughed. Bhai groaned acting as if he couldn't walk but one look from Aku and he was on his feet picking her up. Man, he was whipped. She blushed a litte but smiled happily. 

He walked up the staircase and almost entered when I remembered something. I went and stood in his way. 

'Now what nakhra do you have Sara?' bhai asked exasperated. I chuckled.

'I want something if you want to enter the room, plus it is a tradition' I replied. 

'What do you want?' he asked. 

'Wow, for the first time you agreed so easily. Aku I will keep using you to get gifts from him' I said. 

'Bhai, I want the latest iphone model tomorrow and for now your wallet' I said. He groaned but handed it to me. I let the two them enter the room and everyone laughed happily. We headed back to the living room and everyone gossiped around. Asram kept trying to get my attention but I still ignored him.

'Mom, I am really tired now, its nearly 11 anyways. I am heading to bed. Good night everyone' I said and hugged mom, dad and Jay before heading to my room. 

------2 hours later-------------

 I was trying to sleep but was getting disturbed by some weird sounds on my window. I finally got up to check what it was. When I opened the curtain I was shocked to see Asram standing there. He sheepishly grinned at me. I opened the window and he quickly jumped into my room.

'What the hell are you doing here? Specially at this time' I asked glaring at him. He was looking me up and down. 

'Eyes up here Asram' he looked away slightly flushed. 

'Now answer my question' I said. 

'Uh- well, I was not getting any sleep knowing that you were upset with me. I know it is really late to come right now and your father will kill me if he were to ever find out, but I needed to clear this out' he said. 

'Ok talk, I am listening' I said. I had already forgiven him, I know how Aaliyaa is, but it was fun to watch him apologise. The great ASRAM KHANNA was apologizing to me. 

'So basically she came up to me and was trying to get close to me. I kept moving away but she was relentless, so I told her verbally to stand a little away and keep her distance but she didn't listen. She started talking about how she would be much better for me than you. I just stood there ignoring her, since I didn't want to cause a scene. I am really sorry love. I love only and only you. Why do all these idiots come in between' he said. I smiled softly and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around my waist and held me close to himself. 

Our moment was diturbed by my dear bhabhi. 

'Sara I thought I heard some- bhai what the hell are you doing here right now and why the hell are you'll in this position' Aku said as she barged into my room. 

'Seems like you'll urgently need to get married or you'll will elope' she said. I blushed and hid my face in his chest. 

'Aku, we do want to get married soon, but we will not elope. It's just that we had a fight earlier and I wanted to sort it right now itself. And aren't you supposed to be with your dear hubby? Why are you here?' Asram asked. 

'Well, both of us went down since we were hungry, I thought I heard something so came to check. Anyways, I'm going. Bhai, you've got to go too. Adi or dad will definitely kill you if they know' she said before walking out. 

'She is right, good night love' he said before hugging me tight and kissing me on my forehead. He jumped out, over the barrier into the balcony, before I called him once more. 

'Ash' I said. 

'Yes love' 

'Come here' He did as I asked. 

'Good night darling' I said after pecking his cheek. I smiled one last time before shutting the window and the curtains. It had been an amazing, long day. I fell asleep with a smile on my face.
