***Janus***

The side kept the sword pointed at the knocked out Roman turning to face Janus who was still chained up with his arms behind him. Janus looked at Roman worried.

"What are you going to do? I won't try anything! Just let him go!" The side laughed as he stepped closer to Roman.

"He's cute don't you think?" He tilted Roman's head up with the sword. Janus shook his head.

"Just let him go." The other side just laughed.

"Let him go? Let him go!? Hahaha that's hilarious!" He put the sword away and turned to face Janus again. "He intruded. I don't care that he thinks he can play the hero all the time, it's his turn to be the victim." The side chuckled. Janus stared at him with wide eyes.

"No! You release him!"

"You have no power here." Janus panicked watching as the other side tied Roman up.

"No! Please just let him go!"

"Just shut up already." Janus watched in defeat as Roman hung limp by his arms. "I know the others know he's here, so this makes it harder to hide. But I will make damn sure he can't free you, or himself." Janus watched the other side leave and he looked over to Roman worriedly.

"Ro..." Janus sighed. "Why are you so fucking stupid?"

"Uh excuse me." Janus laughed as he lifted his head and looked up in disbelief at Roman who was standing in the open closets doorway. "That's rude."

"How?" Janus looked over and then realized what he was seeing as tears flowed down his cheeks. "Oh my god..." Roman ran over.

"Come on wake up..." Roman looked back at Janus. "Are you okay?"

"Will he be!?"

"He should be after I get these off...he put some sort of enchantment on them to make him sleep..."

"Who's idea was this!? Because I know Remus would never have thought of this stupid plan! He knows how bad this could have gone! Why did he agree to this!?"

"Because I convinced him it was the only way okay!" Roman shouted at him.

"You are so stupid! Didn't you think of the consequences!? He could have killed him!"

"I KNOW THAT!" Roman shouted at Janus as he turned back to face Remus, who had turned back in his sleep.

"Then why risk it to save me?" Janus asked worried as he saw Roman shaking.

Roman turned back around to face Janus. "Thomas can't live without you."

"Really? So the only reason you wanted to save me was because of Thomas?" Janus laughed a bit as he shifted his weight. "That's hilarious."

"Shut up snake." Roman sighed.

"You would never have risked your life to save me if that was the only reason Roman."

"I-." Roman sighed as he looked away once more. "Stop reading me like that."

"Did you forget I felt everything he did to you?" Janus asked. Roman looked over guiltily.

"I'm so sorry." Roman whispered.

"Don't be." Janus smiled sadly at Roman. "Just figure out a way to get us all out of here and I'll forget about it."

"Oh yeah, put the escaping all on me." Roman pouted.

"You were the one who came up with this stupid plan in the first place!" Roman looked over at Remus.

"Alright alright..." Roman walked over to the chains and was about to begin to get them off when the other side returned.

"How cute, pulling the old twin switch." He walked closer to Roman. "I knew it wasn't you Roman, your brother isn't as skilled with a sword as you." He grabbed Roman's throat. "I can't believe you thought I'd fall for that."

"Roman!" Janus struggled against the chains. Janus watched in horror as the other side slammed roman into a wall.

"Tell me roman, why'd you come for janus?" Janus looked at Roman.

"You don't have to tell him anything roman." Janus quickly said.

"I came for him, because he's important to Thomas." Roman coughed as the other side tightened his grip on his throat.

"I want the real reason." He shoved roman back. "Why would you risk his creativity over his deceit? You know Thomas needs at least one of you to function. So why risk both of you to save him? When you knew this was going to fail! You knew all along!"

"Roman..."

"Because Patton needs him!" Roman hissed out. Janus stared shocked.

"Good boy." The other side dropped roman to the ground. "It's just too bad, that none of you are getting out of here anytime soon." He chained Roman up and Janus panicked.

"Please just let them go!" Janus pleaded.

"No." He left and Janus looked over at roman.

"You really are an idiot." Roman laughed as he looked up at Janus. "What?"

"I'm really not." Janus watched as the illusion fell and Virgil stood in front of him.

"What the fuck?!"
