⚠️TW: Neglect, throwing up, chains, blood⚠️

***Patton***

Patton woke up and looked around his cell. He groaned. What the hell was happening?? He's been gone for so long why hasn't his family come for him?? What was this side trying to pull?? His cell door opened and he lifted his head from his knees to see an exact copy of himself standing in the doorway.

"T-That's why they haven't come for me?!" Patton cried out. The other side laughed.

"Well duh." He giggled as he walked closer and knelt down besides Patton. "How's the no food going for you? What's it been like? Starved yet?" Pattons stomach hurts. He was being starved but because he's one of Thomas's sides and not a real person they could survive off no food for longer than a human being can. But even he was getting weak and dizzy and could barely move or keep his eyes open. This side would shove water or Gatorade down his throat just so he could do his job for Thomas but would make sure he never got food.

"Empty....why-why are you even doing this? This is going to affect Thomas you know this!! What have you been doing to my family?!" Patton screamed. The other side laughed.

"Pathetic. They won't think of you as family if I let you leave now Patton, they want you out of the picture." Patton looked down at his feet.

"They want you gone they just don't know it's you." Patton looked back up.

"Still holding on? Damn now I have to work even harder to hurt you." He walked out of pattons cell and Patton screamed and tears flowed down his face heavily. He didn't want to let this side win. He wouldn't.

***Janus***

Janus lifted his head and looked towards the cell door. He felt pattons energy but it was very different than the Patton that stood before him now. Janus' eyes widened and he looked at the side in front of him.

"Where's...where's the real Patton?! How long have you been hiding as him!?" The illusion dropped and janus struggled against the chains even more. Angry with himself that he didn't figure this out sooner.

"Suffering of course, he has been for months." Janus shook his head.

"This entire time it's been a trick!? What have you done!" He laughed and walked over closer to Janus.

"He won't ever be trusted again." Tears flowed down Janus's face.

"I wont let you ruin him." Janus growled.

"You can't exactly stop me." He winked and walked out leaving Janus alone. Janus bit his lip and used his powers to try and set up a mind link with Patton, something he has been practicing doing with Remus in case of emergencies.

Please work.

Janus focused super hard and suddenly Pattons energy was felt in the connection.

Patton! Are you alright!?

Janus!? how the heck did you do this!!

Me and Remus have been practicing and I wanted to see if it would work on you...I know that's not you now. I know he's been hurting you. Patton how long until you...until you-

Die? I don't know Jan, probably not too long since I've been barely able to keep my own eyes open.

Janus felt tears flow down his face and he bit back the scream he wanted to let out. Fuck this was all the other sides fault! He should have seen it sooner that this wasn't Patton!

Jan, please don't blame yourself for this it's not your fault he disguised himself as me for so long I just...I was gullible and let him do this to me.

Patton I don't want you to die...we-we have to figure this out.

Can you open the link with the others yet?

Janus laughed and smiled a bit. He hasn't attempted that yet.

Smart, didn't think about that.

Janus opened the link with the other sides. He immediately felt the panic coming from Virgil.

AN quick note since all of them are in the link now I will put initials before each one talking

J- Virgil calm down
V- JANUS!? WAIT HOW!?
J- mind link, so anyways patton isn't Patton and the real Patton is in a fucking cell injured
P- hey kiddos!
Ro- PATTON!?
Re- does that...then who...fuck...guys me and Ro have to leave I heard someone coming
V- no please stay please don't go....
J- if he does, and he gets hurt we all feel his pain..
Re- just all of you focus on getting the real Patton away from whoever the fuck this is okay? We will both be fine promise
V- not very reassuring there Remus
Re- I promise

Janus started panicking as he felt their energy leave. He had to figure a way out of here he just had to.

***Remus***

"Open the mind link again, go on." He stepped forward with a sick grin on his face. "You wouldn't dare keep me waiting would you Remus?" Remus looked up from sitting in his brothers lap.

"You knew all along Janus would try it didn't you!?" He nodded and walked closer to Remus who backed away quickly, shoving Roman behind him.

"Come on, they have to know that was a stupid thing. Now once you do as a fucking say and Reconnect with them, I will have my fun with you and they will feel every second of it!" Remus let tears flow down his face and he looked up at him a laugh escaping his lips. Roman looked at him confused.

"If you fucking think for one god damn second id ever connect to them again, you are absolutely more fucking stupid than I thought you were." Remus spat at him. "Go screw yourself you sick fuck." He got closer to Remus and pushed him against the wall, choking him. "Haha kinky..." he pulled away angrily.

"Jesus how does anyone put up with you!?" Remus shrugged.

"I dont know." He giggled.

"I was right to fuck with your head, but then they all made you feel loved again! Jesus how am I supposed to get rid of you!?" Remus looked down and laughed at his hands.

"Roman would NEVER let that happen." Remus immediately looked back up. "I swear if you fucking touch him-." Roman backed away terrified.

"Game on." He just laughed. "To get rid of you, I have to get rid of him." He pushed Remus and grabbed Romans arm harshly, storming out of the cell dragging Roman behind him. Remus screamed.

"ROMAN NO!"

***Roman***

Roman escaped his hold and booked it to a bedroom.

Re: ROMAN HIDE

Roman shook as he backed away as far as he could. He didn't have the heart to tell him he didn't have strength to fight. He would lose the battle. Tears flowed down his face as he hid under the bed. The only obvious spot in this entire fucking room that he could have hid. The door opened and he heard footsteps coming closer. He covered his mouth feeling the tears flow down his face.

V: Ro!? What's happening why can I feel your on the way to a panic attack!?

Ro: I'm so sorry.

Roman cut the connection just as he was pulled from under the bed. He screamed as he was thrown into the wall. Tears fell down his cheeks as he struggled to sit up coughing up some blood.

"Get. The. Connection. Back. Up." He demanded. Roman shakily sat up and shook his head as he coughed up even more blood.

"Over my dead body!" Roman shook as he was yanked to his feet.

"I know someone I can torture to get to you Roman." He giggled. "And it's not your precious emo nightmare, or your stupid brother." Roman shook his head as he was dragged from the bedroom towards another few doors and down a few corridors, "he will definitely cooperate once he sees you!" He giggled. Roman shook his head.

"We made a promise...a-and we won't break it." Roman coughed out.

"He will after he sees you." Roman was thrown to the ground of a cell and he didn't look up to see who was in it fear taking over his chest. "Look up stupid prince." Roman spit and listened looking up to find a very very weak Logan. His eyes widened not expecting to see Logan.

"What. Have. You. Done!?" Roman immediately ran over to Logan's side checking over his wounds not caring about his own.

"Ro-Roman..." logan shook his head. "Leave, I can't-I can't fight him if he hurts you I-I promised..."

"One of you open that connection, or I will kill one of you and force the other to watch." Logan looked at Roman.

"I cant do it I'm too weak..."

"How was he even able to connect with you Lo that must have taken so much energy from you..." Roman looked worriedly at Logan.

"I'll be fine." Logan glared at the side in front of the two. "He's a liar don't trust him."

"What did I tell you Logic!?" He stormed over and shoved Roman away holding tightly to Logan's throat. Logan glared.

"I will NOT betray him!" Logan shoved him away and fell to the ground holding his throat. "GO TO HELL!"

"Lo?" Roman looked at him in horror.

"Ro-Roman please..." tears filled Logan's eyes. "I'm not working with him!"

"Are you seriously lying to me right now?" Roman backed away.

J: Ro don't believe it! Logan would never work with him!

"And there we go!" Roman immediately screamed in pain as he felt electricity run through his veins. Flashes of Janus being in pain went through his mind and he tried shutting him out but it didn't work.

"STOP!" Suddenly the other side was thrown against a wall and logan was standing up. Romans eyes widened. "Oh god..." he ran over to Roman and then looked over at the door. "Come on let's get out of here." Logan lifted Roman up and started walking him out of the cell. Romans vision began to blur and he collapsed.

***Thomas***

Thomas stared blankly at the wall confused. Why did he feel like he didn't want to do anything anymore?? Roman was just actively allowing him to come up with ideas a few moments ago...somethings wrong. Thomas sat down on his couch and looked at where each of the sides would stand and he took a deep breathe, summoning Virgil first. Virgil appeared but as Thomas looked at him he noticed he looked drained. Even more than usual.

"What's going on?" Thomas asked. Virgil looked around panicked. "Virgil..."

"Y-You can..." Virgil laughed. "Of course you can! Oh my god...Thomas this is important." Virgil sat forward. "Summon Patton, really reach deep into your heart though okay? For me..." Thomas stared at Virgil confused before closing his eyes and thinking about Patton and how happy he is, how happy his past makes him feel. Suddenly he heard Virgil cry out and he opened his eyes. Patton was slumped on the ground looking around dazed.

"Oh my gosh!" Thomas stared wide eyed at Patton. Virgil ran over and helped him sit up.

"Y-Your okay I've got you." Virgil held Patton and smiled at Thomas. "We can explain everything later just...can you try and summon the others?" Thomas nodded and looked over to where Logan stands. He focused hard and Logan rose up and looked confused at each of them.

"What is happening...." He looked down and panicked. "Oh god Roman..."

"Yeah that's what I wanna know actually...why can't I feel Roman?" Thomas asked. Virgils eyes widened and he looked at Thomas.

"YOU CANT WHAT!?"

"I'm fine." Roman suddenly appeared by the TV being held up by Remus.

"Roman!" Virgil looked panicked and Thomas looked between them all.

"Where's Janus?" He asked. Everyone went silent as they looked between eachother.

"He's in trouble." Roman mumbled. Silence filled the room and Thomas looked determined.

"What do I need to do to help?"

AN sorry this took awhile to update! Update on me: stories will now be taking a short pause due to an injury I have right now and due to me starting my second job on September 24th I will be really really busy so I won't have a lot of time to myself due to both jobs. I hope you enjoyed the update and continue to read the story when I actually do finally update
