Rahul's pov

I was deeply immersed in my thoughts about Veer's problem. Anjali was beside me typing a matter which I have given.

" Are you alright sir ? " She asked me inbetween her task. She should have felt somethingthing odd in me because I was sighing  many times.

" I was thinking about Veer's problem. if I met that women she will regret even her existence. I still don't get why Veer never did anything with her even after all those mess she had created. " I replied to her like I was eagerly waiting for someone to ask about my absent mind.

" I don't know about the matter but I guess it's something serious. " She replied.

" Yes ofcourse it's serious , four years back Veer's wife now his ex wife left her new born babies and her husband for her own needs and never enquired about them. Yesterday all of sudden she came back and asking for the custody of kids . If you are in Veer's place what would you do ? " I looked at her curiously.

" Hmmm situation is different , but we can't ignore the fact that she is still their mother " what the hell?  she is taking that witch side.

" Yeaa as expected all womens are  same . Get back to your work " I turned around on my chair and now my back faces her.

"  I didn't complete what I wanted to say sir. Giving birth to a child and becoming a mother doesn't mean that she has full rights on her kids. Forgetting about her duty as mother is the big crime rather than anything and  that kind of women doesn't deserve to raise any kids. " There was something hidden in her words
pain, regrets , anger , all emotions were mixed and her face expression said it well. Don't tell me she is already a mother. No way she is only 23 . Stop it Rahul stop making wild imaginations.

" As you asked why Rajveer sir didn't do anything with her , that's very simple to answer " she said with a smrink and looked at the laptop screen.

" What is it ? "

" He still has some feelings for her ." What ??

" Get out from your fantasy world girl , feelings ? No way " I don't agree with her about this matter.

" How do you know about that ? Even if she has killed someone or did adultery with anyone that doesn't affect their feelings. She is his first love , she was his wife and she is the mother of his kids.  From these kinds of feelings men never get recover and they always have soft corner for these three things. If I am wrong then  you can smack me " I took my phone to threw at her while she covered her face with  her hands but I put the phone down.

" Yes you are right "

" So you admit that girls are not stupid it's you men who are born stupid " she chuckled and get back to her work.

" What? What did you said ? We are stupid .. " actually I didn't get anything to say she looked at me with a pathetic look and shrugged her shoulders. Really this girl really have some nerves.

For past one hour I was observing Anjali through cctv camera . I was analysing her each and every move because I was confused to come up with a decision and finally I decided she is going to be my next target .

Suddenly Karan came to my room and reminded that I have a meeting with Royees group. So I got ready and Karan followed me. I stopped at Anjali's desk.

" Assistant Anjali come with me " I ordered and she followed me .

As usual meeting was not going smoothly. This meeting is not just a business meeting but it was a board meeting with Singania board members and Royees group board members. My mom , uncle , Rajveer and our other relatives were present. From Royees group Rishab , his mother and many others were there. Topic is as usual one. Profit distribution.  our Singania construction company and their loss  making resorts and hotels are the discussion matters.

" As I told you before we can provide only with that much of profit share which you are invested nothing more nothing less that's the fare rule. " Rajveer made our stand clear .

"According to late Mr Singania he wanted me and my son to inherit everything under him. You and your family cheated us and dumped all your loss making things under our name and took everything that makes profit. Is this what you're are calling a fare game ? " Rishab's mother stood from her chair and shouted.

" We didn't dump anything on you according to the final decision from court you had that full authority to decide what all properties and assets that you need . If you can't make profit from them then that's your problem not us " my uncle replied back.

" And forget dreaming about our Singania construction not in this life you are going to get that . " Said me .

After three hours long heated discussion the meeting ended with arguments and challenges.

Karan went with my mom to drop her . I saw Nisha getting into the car with Rishab and she seemed very happy . They two seemed really good and happy after making my life into a hell. I waited until their car to go.

"See see, I told you , you are also same as Rajveer sir " said Anjali by mocking me.

" You are right we men are just stupid." I said and put a fake smile on my face and ignited the car.

" Everyone can fall in love with anyone . We can't blame them for that " she wisperd with enough sound that I could hear.

"Anjali have you ever loved someone sincerely ? " I asked her and the look she gave me after that question was killing. Why ? Did she really has a boyfriend ?

" No , I don't " she replied but her sound was shivering.

" But I did and that girl is Nisha . I can guarantee that there won't be any man who can love her like me . She is fool who got tricked by him. " I scoffed and looked at Anjali. She was eagerly waiting for me to listen rest of my story.

" I trusted her may be more than anyone. She was like you , my secretary , my first secretary after I took the position as CEO of Singania construction. That time our company wasn't as good as now . We were working hard to pull our company from a deep pit of debt. Even in those hard times she was one who I found solace . I was happy when I was with her forgetting all worries and tensions" these memories are which I always kept deep inside my mind , which I never wanted to open but don't know why I am telling these to her.

" After working hard , making our blood into sweat we somewhat make our company to stand on its feet. But that happiness didn't last long.  Many tenders we decided to call went to a Malaysian company just thousands of rupees difference. When it repeated me and Rajveer smelled something fishy.
We get to know that there was someone inside our company spying on our works and tenders. We rearranged all departments and workers, I even doubted Karan but never doubted her but Rajveer had his eyes on her and he caught her red handed disclosing our tender amount . If we had lost that last tender then that would be the end of this Singania groups,  bank would have ceased everything and I would be on road.

I was ready to forgive her untill when I get to know about that she was working for Rishab. That day I wanted to kill her but as you said we men are just stupid when it comes to first love and all . Feelings comes first so that's why till now I am doing all these stupid things infront of her "  my mind it was like I got rid of a huge stone which I always kept on my heart . I really felt so relieved and relaxed. I looked at Anjali and she was silent , there wasn't any expression or anything.

" I can be an understanding person, I can forgive anything but not a single lie . A lie breaks the trusts among two peoples. I never forgive anyone who lie to me " I gripped the steering wheel tightly to let out my frustration.

" I know liying to someone is not a good thing but if that lie can make other people happy or for their good then it's a good lie. " She replied.

" Nope a lie is always a lie , there is nothing good and bad in that. A lie has only a life span of an air bubble , as it moves at a moment it will pop that's it . Why we need that ,?  . better to face the truth rather than to lie . As you mocked me I may be a player who plays with girls feelings but I never lied to them . They are with me even after knowing what I am and how the relationship will end if they are with me . Even after knowing everything they wanted to be with me then I am not at fault . I don't think I am a mistake or a fault " I became bit emotional after saying that .

" You did good  , so far you are doing everything good . For the first time I am proud to be working as your assistant Mr Rahul Yash Singania" she gave me a warm smile and put her eyes back to road.

I dropped her infront of a street , more exactly where we met first time. I saw her walking until she disappeared from my view. Quickly I took my phone and dialled veer's number but before ringing I cut the call.

" What I was even thinking ? " I mumbled to myself and banged on the steering wheel.

From the moment she said I did good , I was thinking to suggest her to Rajveer for marrying her as his temporary wife . But something was holding me back that's why I cut the call. Suddenly my began to ring and get startled a bit I looked at the screen, it was Anjali , my sweet love Anjali.

" Hai baby " I said.

" Hey , always busy not even have time to call me " she complaints in a witty way.

" Some personal issues , leave it. How was my surprise ? Did you like it ? " I asked.

" Ofcourse that was beautiful I really liked it . That was a limited edition right ? " I felt how much she was happy with my gift.

" Hmm and that was the last one . What about the matter I asked to you, did you decided anything ? " I asked with a curiosity.

" My mom was really excited  and she is really happy for us but dad I didn't said anything .. "

" I am asking about your opinion girl . What about you ? " I asked in a serious tone.

" Yes . I want to be yours. " That yes was like a spring season just after the cold winter.

" That's enough , you just wait to meet with my mother . Soon I will take you to her and introduce as her future daughter in law " I was happy sincerely , I hope she is also happy .
