Katniss POV:

I lay on the floor for what seemed like hours when I finally hear the satisfying sound of heavy footsteps thumping up the stairs. Curl into a ball and peep my head up to see Peeta. He walks over to me and asks "What's wrong honey?" I cuddle closer to him and stay silent. I think he can tell that I don't want to talk about it, so we just sit there with no words spoken. After I little while Peeta finally speaks up and asks again "What wrong Katniss?" "Well.... Johanna i-is...en-eng-engaged to.... Ga......Gale." I stutter threw tears. "Oh..." Peeta whispers. "Uh... If you've gotten over Gale then why is this so upsetting?" He says a little nervous of how I will reply. "I don't care about Gale he is going to take Johanna out of our lives!" I scream at him. He looks down at the floor which makes me feel guilty. "Sorry." I whisper. "It's ok." He answers. Uhg Gale why does he ruin everything!? (Authors note I find that true XD) there's once again an awkward silence so we decide to just go make dinner. Usually when something bad happens we don't talk about because it just makes the problem worse for us. I walk over to the kitchen and Peeta hands me one of his homemade cheese-buns. I give a small smile and take a bite of the cheese-buns delicious cheesy center. The delightful treat brings a smile to my face and I can tell Peeta notices, cause he smiles back. I love it how Peeta always brings a smile to my face, and cheers me up.
