Katniss POV

Trees. That's all I see ahead of me. Big thick branches with dark oak wood and flakey green leaves. How did I get hear? "Katniss!" I hear someone cry out. This voice is so familiar, i know this voice. This is my little ducks voice. Prim. "Prim!" I scream at the top of my lungs. "Well miss Everdeen, it's to late for that. I thought we agreed not to lie to each-other?" A sly white bearded man snared. "You evil snake! Where's Prim?" I cry. "Oh I'm no snake Katniss. But it looks like your out of time, say goodbye to your sister!" I chuckles with a despicable grin. "No! What are you
doing to her Snow?!" I plea. "It's the things we love most that destroy us." He laughs once more as a cry to the floor when I realize......

I flutter my eyes open in terror. I slowly gaze at my surroundings to find where I am. I'm in my room. I look to my right, and my loving husband Peeta Mellark is there. Right now I wish I could just look right into his beautiful blue eyes and get lost in them, but he's asleep. He's usually always awake and helps me with my nightmares, but he is most likely tired from all yesterday's work. I snuggle onto Peeta's chest, making me feel somewhat safer knowing that he's safe. He is the only thing I have left. Well besides my mom, Peeta is my only living family and no madder what I need to protect him. I suddenly can sense eyes looking at me so I turn back to Peeta to find his blue eyes piercing into mine. "Good morning Kat." He says smiling softly. "Good Morning." I reply the same. He gives me a kiss on the cheek and gets up to make breakfast, but I stop him. "Peeta?" I ask. "Yes?" He answers. "Stay with me?" I say repeating what I once said so many years ago in hope that he will remember. "Always." He replies. With that one word said it gives me a huge relief knowing truly that he will stay with me. Always.
