Undyne The Undieing

(Sans' POV)

Toriel leads me down the passage ways, are footsteps echoing in the eire silence. "Hey Tori, why are there no other monsters down here?", I ask her. "Their, Um, afraid of my friend. She does whatever King Papyrus asks, and its normally not something good", She hesitantly says. "And you're sure she won't attack us on sight?", I question. "........ not me. But we'll have to explain before she tries to attack you.....".

We fall into a bit of a silence as we continue down the passage. The damp air makes everything feel chilly, with the glow from the echo flowers giving it a ghostly appearance. It's still beautiful, but creepy with everything else going on. My bad leg is starting to ache will all the walking. We'll have to stop somewhere soon.

A sudden echo from up ahead has us both stopping in are tracks. Bang..... Bang....... Bang....... Bang. It sounds like...... metal hitting the cave floor? "That's her", Toriel whispers from beside me, "Her name is Undyne, buy the way. Try not to look aggressive". I loosen my grip on my wooden staff and move my feet into a more passive stance. But I don't dare drop my guard. The many lessons that Grillby taught to my start swirling around in my head as 'Undyne' gets closer.

A figure rounds the corner, and I instinctively hold my breath. They wear full metal armor that only shows their eyes and a pint tale sticking out the back of the helmet. She seems to pause at seeing Tori, but her eyes soon lock onto me. This is when it dawns on me that I should of taken my hood off my face. As it is now, it covers my face in shadow. This doesn't seem to impress Undyne.

With a loud battle cry, a blue spear swiftly appears in her hands. She hurls it at me with deadly accuracy. Good thing I'm quicker. I throw my wait onto my wooden staff and swing around on it while pushing Tori to the side. The spear harmlessly dissipates against the wall. Undyne growls at me while summoning more spears to throw at me. I swung on my staff and jumped away on my good leg to dodge her attacks. I continue to do this for a full three minutes, hoping that she will stop. But she doesn't. I regretfully call upon my magic, an echo feeling copying the action. The echo brings my eye to a blazing blue, the former magic bringing in a Gaster blaster with a green haze.

A tear slightly edges my eyes from knowing where the echo of blue magic comes from. But I push aside my grief and prepare myself for battle.
