A/N: Big Action 0:05-0:50

As I started to get back up, I checked if all my gear was still there and my weapon. Thankfully, they were all there. From where I was standing, there looked to be a train station up ahead. This place looks like Earth, but more if it went nuclear. The city looked abandoned, with cars being impaled by huge spike like things (not sure what they're called). As I made my way to the train station, I suddenly was jumped by these strange mecha looking like monsters with claws.

A/N: Big Action 0:50-1:25. Also, Code 0-The Fool.

Me (muttering): Вот черт. (Dammit.)

Though they looked scary, they were easy to shoot down. One shot from my AK-12 was all it took for the monster to go down.

Me: Well....that was easy. I thought it would take more of a punch.

As I said that, another monster, this type a little stronger with 2 swords came to face me.

A/N: Code VII-Strength.

It looked pretty skilled with its swords, meaning to deflect attacks with swords probably.

Me (thinking): Wait a sec. Does this world use futuristic swords instead of guns like us? Well that's kind of a shame.

It didn't take me long to destroy the monster, though I did have to do a five round burst.

Me (thinking): I don't want to underestimate them right now, but this is just too easy.

As I starting walking (more like speed walking), I was jumped by more of the weak and strong monsters. Unfortunately for them again, I took them down with ease, though I feel I should conserve my bullets more, since I don't even know if they have any 5.45 here. Once I get to inside the train station, I see another person fighting a very (how should I put this) huge monster that had a sword and shield, and from the looks of it, he's fighting that monster with a sword, which I am guessing is futuristic. I then rush up to help him.

A few minutes earlier

Adam's POV:

As I jumped down from a high place in the station, I found the place to be ruined and deserted, just like the city of St. Fountain. There were fires at random points of the station and when I jumped down, I was jumped by a few of those weaker monsters and the stronger monsters that can deflect sword attacks. I of course managed to easily destroy those monsters with my combo attacks and aerial cleaves. As soon as I was done though, another monster came in, but this time is was way bigger than the monsters I have faced before.

A/N: Code IV-The Emperor.

More like a boss fight but yeah, it was pretty big. When it came crashing in, I immediately went for its weak point, which was at the head while simultaneously dodging his very powerful attacks. When the monster then unleashes its ultimate attack, I easily jump into the air, dodging it, and unleashing my own powerful counterattack.

You would have expected me to take down this boss by myself, but that's not the case. A man in what looked to be desert camouflage (A/N: Russian Desert EMR) with a strange flag (A/N: Flag of the Russian Federation) and his unit badge on his right and left arm pockets came rushing in and starting shooting the boss with his gun, killing in about a few shots. I then went up to him after he was done.

Me: Never thought I would meet another human here.

??? (Y/N): Same likewise.

Me: Who are you?

??? (Y/N): I should ask the same for you.

Me: Actually screw that, we'll introduce ourselves once we get back to my temporary HQ.

??? (Y/N): Right.

Back to Y/N

A few moments later, 3rd Anti-Honkai Squad HQ

Y/N POV:

From the looks of it, their HQ looks way better than the city, but it was still all over the place, with a broken window and rubble surrounding it. As we arrived, an unknown woman started to speak in Japanese with the person I just met.

??? (Raiden Mei) (IJ): You're back, Adam. I learned a lot today...enought to drop your jaw. I tried to figure out the shape of the air shroud with laser beams. Turns out it's a sphere rather than a cylinder. The beams pointing on top of the city and around its borders were obviously deflected. And the center of this sphere should be...

Adam (IJ): The floated island, Miss Raiden?

Raiden Mei (IJ): That's right. Looks it has everything to do with the St. Fountain mysteries. And the monsters we never saw before...their data were sent back to the HQ. Dr. Einstein will give us an answer, hopefully. Alright. Have you found anything?

Adam (IJ): Yes, along with him right here.

Raiden Mei (IJ): Who is he?

Me (IJ): I would like some introductions first before I give out anything.

Adam (shocked) (IJ): Wait, you can speak Japanese? Anyways, my name is Adam and she (points at Mei) is Raiden Mei, or who I call Miss Raiden. We are what comprises of the 3rd Anti-Honkai Squad of the Schicksal Special Forces. Judging from your uniform and your emblems, you're probably not from here, correct?

Me (IJ): That's correct. I am Captain Y/N L/N, 144th Guards Motor Rifle Division of the Russian Ground Forces.

Adam (IJ): Woah! You're actually part of an army?

Me (IJ): Yes.

Raiden Mei: How did you get here then?

Me (I sigh) (IJ): I got here for very unknown reasons. I was originally tasked with going on the offensive against terrorist forces in the city of Aleppo, Syria. My unit got into the city and started to engage them from behind. After a good 30 minutes or so, a terrorist threw his grenade at me and I got sucked into a blue portal, taking me here.

Raiden Mei (IJ): That would seem very strange. Plus your weapons, I never seen it before. How is it?

Me (IJ): Well for the weak ones, it can one shot them. For some of the stronger ones, it takes 5 shots.

Needless to say, Adam and Mei were both shocked.

Raiden Mei (IJ): Very impressive for a soldier who ended up in another world. I also take it that you killed that huge monster?

Me (IJ): Yep, that's me.

Adam (IJ): Just how? Our swords are some of the strongest of all of Schicksal, and even they still take a couple dozen swings.

Me (IJ): I actually don't know why I can kill them so easily. Anyways, quick question. Does the Russian Federation exist in this world?

Raiden Mei (IJ): No, I believe not. Russia was destroyed in the 3rd Honkai Eruption and even then, it was called the Russian Empire.

Me (IJ): I guess I have got some explaining to do later. Got any 5.45x39mm bullets with you?

Adam (IJ): Unfortunately, no.

Me (I sigh) (IJ): Alright then I guess....

My radio then suddenly rings up to life, which was strange.

Radio (IR): Волк 3-1! Волк 3-1! ты читаешь?! Приём! (Wolf 3-1! Wolf 3-1! Do you read?! Over!)

Me (to Raiden Mei and Adam) (IJ): Sorry, I have to answer this.

I then speak on the radio.

Me (IR): Ето Волк 3-1, приём. (This is Wolf 3-1, over.)

Radio (IR): Сэр, как другая сторона? Тебе что-нибудь нужно? Приём? (Sir, how's the other side? Do you need anything? Over?)

Me (IR): Ну...с другой стороны, черт возьми, это можно назвать легким. И да, мне что-то нужно, как в 5.45 пулях? (Well....the other side is hell to put it lightly. And yes, I need something, as in 5.45 bullets?)

Radio (IR): Так точно. Это будет сброшено с воздуха возле вашего местоположения. (Yes sir. That will be airdropped near your location.)

Me (IR): Вас понял, приём. (Understood, over.)

Radio (IR): Что мы все сэр. приём? (That will be all sir. Over?)

Me (IR): Вас понял, приём. (Understood, over.)

Once I get done talking, Adam interjects in.

Adam (IJ): Who was that?

Me (IJ): My guys. Guess that they were concerned over my sudden disappearance.

Raiden Mei (IJ): How was your radio able to patch through? Surely it has to do something with your technology right?

Me (IJ): Yes, but that's classified, can't tell you.

Raiden Mei (IJ): I understand. Anyways, Adam, what did you see before you met him?

Adam then starts explaining what he saw.

Raiden Mei (IJ): I see...good thing that the map works. The red crystals are worth looking into. I'll send the data back to HQ. We learned a lot today, but most importantly, we're still clueless about Mr. Yang's whereabouts. I'll work out a plan with what we have so far, and I can use your help, Adam.

Me (IJ): So...what's my job since I'm not in from this world?

Raiden Mei (IJ): You will be helping us. Your weapons should probably be able to penetrate even the strongest of monsters where our swords can't. Except for the monsters with shields, as I'm the only one who can break them.

Me (IJ): Understood.

We then rest for a few minutes till we get a reply.

Raiden Mei (IJ): Adam, HQ has responded. The Overseer wants to talk to us. The instructions told us to assemble our Honkai detectors into an array somewhere high and flat. I've picked the spot, and it's not far from the Sa'ad Station. I'll fill you in on the way.

Me (thinking): So that's the name of the station. Sounds very Arabic. Must mean we're either in the Middle East in this world or in Egypt. In any case, whatever, can't do much now.

Me (IJ): Miss Raiden?

Raiden Mei (IJ): Call me Mei. No need for formalities.

Me (IJ): Understood. Mei, are you coming with us?

Raiden Mei (IJ): Yes, I would like to see your skills. Will you know what you are doing once you get there with us?

Me (As I put on my suppressor for my AK-12)(IJ): I will....eventually.

Raiden Mei (chuckles) (IJ): You're a fast learner.

I chuckle as well.

A few moments later, Sa'ad Station

Mei (IJ): Dr. Einstein came up with an idea, and the Overseer talked it with me. We think it might actually work. The doctor said we could locate Mr. yang through Honkai energy readings. By pairing our detectors up into an array, we can extend the radius to 80km, 1/12 of the urban area.

Me (IJ): That sounds way too little of an area to try to locate him.

Mei (IJ): Correct, but that's the best we can do.

Adam (IJ): And we need to wait for Carole.

Mei (IJ): Yeah, join her device to the array to cover the entire St. Fountain. But that's not the point right now.

Adam (IJ): There may be too many.

Mei (IJ): Yeah, the Overseer has the same concern. After the 3rd Honkai Eruption ended, 99% of Honkai energy was sealed on the Moon. But still...there is some left and scattered around the globe. It's no threat, but it's out there. If we activate the detectors, we'll get a Honkai energy map of St. Fountain. So...

Me (IJ): I'm going to assume we need to find the right HVT? I'm not an expert in this world, so that's my guess.

Mei (IJ): Correct, we need to find a Herrscher's energy.

Me (IJ): Alright. I guess we better get moving then.

Mei (IJ): This way.

We head out a broken part of St. Fountain and jump down a few feet. I then see a monster.

A/N: Code VI-The Lovers.

Me (IJ): Tango, up ahead.

Mei (IJ): Yes. Adam, do you remember aerial combat in the game Icarus?

Adam (IJ): Not really.

Mei (IJ): Well, watch and learn.

Mei then proceeds to go into the air and slashes the enemies and combo attacks them with her "Flash" attacks. Once she's done, another monster with a shield appears, to which Mei was able to break easily.

Mei (IJ): Captain! It's your turn now.

Me (IJ): Alright.

I then aim in with my 1P87 sight and wait for a few seconds.

Me (IR): Oгонь. (Fire.)

I then fire a shot from my suppressed AK-12, killing it instantly.

Me (IJ): Tango down.

Mei went into a shocked state for the second time today.

Mei (mouth agape) (IJ): That strong for something as small as a bullet? You could have taken on an entire army by now!

Me (IJ): Maybe. Who knows?

We then walk over to a bridge and Mei says something about St. Fountain in general.

Mei (IJ): Walk downstream along the river and you will see the famous False Bay.

Once we get to the bridge, something from my air crashes down on the middle of the bridge, making it impossible to cross by foot. Execpt for the fact....

Mei (IJ): If there are wide gaps, use your Midair Dash to cross over it.

Me (IJ): I'm not sure if I have Midair Dash, since I'm not from this world.

As Adam gets across the bridge easily with his Midair Dash, Mei tries to encourage and see if I can do the same.

Mei (IJ): Try leaping into the air and dash across this gap.

I did exactly just that and to my surprise, I was able to dash over the gap, even with a plate carrier and a helmet slowing me down a bit. Mei soonafter dashed over the gap as well.

Mei (IJ): It seems like even in another world, you still have our powers. (she chuckles)

Me (rubbing my head and chuckling as well) (IJ): Yeah..it would seem to be that.

We then run towards another horde of monsters and see that one of the aerial monsters had a what looks to be a Enabling Field, giving it a shield over itself. While Adam takes care of the Enabling Field, I one shot the monsters who were on the ground easily, with Mei taking care of the of the rest of the Aerial monsters. We all proceed to continue running through the rubbled city towards our objectives.

Mei (IJ): If we came here a few months later, we might get to see the wonder of many right whales spouting at the same time. Let's take a vacation here after we finish this mission.

Me (IJ): But this place might as well turn into another Aleppo. Or worst....Kandahar Province.

Mei (IJ): That place brung you bad memories?

Me (IJ): Yeah, when I was still a US Marine. I will tell all of you later.

Mei (IJ): Alright. Keep heading upwards from this platform (from where we're standing) and we'll reach our destination.

As soon as she said that, another wave of monsters came crawling from the ground to attack us. Adam and Mei first attacked the Aerial ones with their combos and combined attacks, while I again took out the ground monsters with relative ease still from a safe distance (about 100 yards).

Mei (IJ): You're learning pretty fast for an outworlder.

Me (IJ): Or maybe it's just because my weapons are overpowered in this world.

Mei (IJ): Maybe...

We continued on to a part of and destroyed another monster wave. Adam and Mei then jumped down to a lower section while I stayed behind, due to the monster being way bigger than all the other monsters and the fact that shooting from a safe distance is the best way to use my AK-12.

A/N: Code XIII-The Death.

The monster was really strong from a close distance, as her swords were whirling all over the place and her only weak spot was her abdomen and while Adam and Mei were in the air hitting her in the air with their attacks and repeated ultimates, my ultimate, Smart Core, was ready for activation.

Me (IJ): Mei, Adam, I'm about to activate my ultimate. Watch out for the bullets headed your way.

Mei and Adam (IJ): Roger Captain.

I then activate it.

Smart Core System: Smart Core Online.

My AK-12 started to lock on and I fired on full auto at max RPM with my AK-12, which absolutely shredded the monster before it could escape. Needless to say, Adam and Mei were pretty impressed after being shocked for the first part of the day.

Mei (IJ): Your ultimate was really impressive, Captain.

Me (IJ): Thanks, Mei.

Adam (IJ): That just shredded the monster within a few seconds!

Me (IJ): Well I probably will have to use it more often, it's really useful.

Mei (IJ): That was another new monster we just encountered.

Me (IJ): And this looks way more human than the other ones.

Mei (IJ): Correct. So it looks more artificial and fragmentary. I have a theory, Y/N and Adam...are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Me (IJ): Maybe these monsters are based on a creator who knows a lot about human civilization and trying to mix them together?

Mei (IJ): Yes. And that's why their apperances have so many similarities to that of a human...but these similarities are put together in such an unnatural way...it feels like...their creator knows nothing about the human civilization, and was just mixing whatever he/she saw. Things are just getting weirder and weirder...let's take a shot break here. I'll speak to the Overseer.

We then start to walk back to our HQ.

A few moments later, 3rd Anti-Honkai Squad HQ

Once we got back, we got a mission report to read before we sent it to Schicksal HQ.

Mei (IJ): Good job. Especially you, Captain.

Me (IJ): Thanks.

Mei (IJ): I have faith in the doctor's solution...but the radius of detection is too small after all. If nothing shows up...do we wait for Carole, or try again somewhere else? We'll talk more later.

Once we were done, I checked the storage room just outside to pick up my ammo and....new weapons? I got back into the squad room and put my crates down.

Mei (IJ): Seems like you got a delivery from your world. What is it?

Me (IJ): Just some extra 5.45 ammo that probably last me (I count in my head for this) about 5 months.

Mei (IJ): Wow. That's a lot of bullets for that amount of time...but I'm afraid it might not be enough. Anything else from those crates?

Me (IJ): Got myself some more attachments, like this 1P78 here (shows her and she looks at it).

Mei (IJ): Hm. (she looks into the optic while looking out the window) Pretty far for a scope. Should be more useful than that 1P87 your currently using.

Me (IJ): Yeah. With a magnification of x2.8, it should be more useful than my x1.0 sight. And for far longer ranges as well.

Mei (IJ): Anything else?

Me (while carrying the 6P46-N): Yep, and this heavy thing.

Mei (IJ): What's that?

Me: The 6P41-N PKP Pecheneg Medium Machine Gun (MMG). This thing is chambered in 7.62x54mmR and has a firerate of 800 RPM. And this variant can mount a sight, which is going to be useful for long range missions where a machine gun is required.

Mei (IJ): That will also be very useful should we need to have suppressive fire on our location.

Me (IJ): Yeah. (I stop for a second and sit down, thinking about what may be happening back at home)

Mei (IJ): Are you okay, Captain?

Me (IJ): Yeah...I'm fine...just thinking about home.

What she did next surprised me. She came up behind me and hugged me from behind, while putting her head on my back. By the time I look back, I can see she was blushing...as well as me. We sat in that position for some time while I eased down before Adam came back in.

Adam (smiles) (IJ): I knew it.

Mei and I quickly seperate.

Adam (IJ): Captain? Miss Raiden? You like each other? Don't ya?

Mei and I (IJ): NO!

Adam (chuckles) (IJ): Just keep denying to each other. Eventually, you will see that I'm right.

Once he was done, he sat down next to us while I started to clean my weapons, waiting for the Overseer's response and our next mission....
