Chapter 3
Lily's POV
I sat in my seat, shivering. Despite the glow of the ship, it's air was clinging and cold. Obi-Wan sighed.
"Do they usually take this long?" Qui Gon shook his head.
"I can sense an unusual amount of fear for something as trivial as this trade dispute." I scanned the room, hoping that nothing about this mission would go to wrong. Of course, fate had to be 'funny' and give us the worst possible time.
A loud hissing noise filled the room. Qui Gon stood.
"Dioxins. Hold your breath." I clamped my mouth shut, pressing my lips together in a tight line. After about five minutes a voice echoed from the hallway.
"They have to be dead by now. Destroy what's left!" I ignited my lightsaber.
"I'm not going down without a fight!" I hissed under my breath. Obi-Wan gave me a look that said, who ever gives up without a fight?
Elaxa didn't. And neither are you, Lillian. Your not going to.

The rather entertaining conversation in my head was cut short by a laser blast marking a crevice in the wall near my arm. I jerked to the side, yellow lightsaber swinging up to block the next blaster bolt. I heard clanks, thumps, and robotic screams and then silence. I exited the room and saw Obi-Wan and Qui Gon waiting. We took off, leaving our hopes of peace behind us.
