infinite's family
Infinite teleported straight into his living room, the red cubes that transported him disappearing when he flopped head first into the couch where his dad sat watching tv. When his face hit the cushion, the jackle began sobbing causing his father to look down at him.
"Hey champ, how was school?" His father asked even though he could figure out the answer at his son's sobbing.
"It was horrible! I had no partners to play Uno with at math so i was stuck with my boring 'ol teacher an' then i wanted to go to a sleepover but i scared them away," Infinite cried pulling his head up to look at his worried father, his cheeks were drenched in tears. "I hate school so much no one likes me i wish they'd all burn!"
"Hey, hey, no need to turn to violence. Violence is not the answer 'Fin.." Infinite's mother was in the room now, he wore an aporn and held a rubber spatula. "You just had a bad day, come to the kitchen and talk to us about it."
"But everyday is a bad day!" The jackle screamed standing up, sometimes the young's sadness welled up to frustration and it made it worse when both his parents were always so calm. He wished they'd express the same anger as his. They didn't know what it felt like to be alone because they had eachother. "I'm always so alone! No one wants to be my friend and it's all because of this stupid power! I wish i was normal! I wish people liked me and didn't think i was weird!" After screaming his heart out, Infinite burried his face back into the couch cushion staining it in his tears as he quietly let out muffled sobs.
"Hey Fin, hey." The black ebony hands of his father reach down to storke his white hair, it was a comforting gesture, one Infinite was long gone drawn into. "It's okay to be sad about being alone, i was like that for 50 years before being freed. You don't need to be angry about it though. You'll make friends, it just takes time."
As Infinite's dad sooths him, his mom takes a seat next to him and gives his insight, "You need to be patient Fin, i always thought I'd die alone but then i met your father."
"But how long am i gonna have to wait," Infinite sniffed, he put his head back up and began to slowly get up. "It's been 10 years and i haven't had a single friend." His parents looked at him in despair. He sighed and began to walk away.
"Where are you going?" His mother asked getting up but Infinite's father stopped him.
"My room," Infinite replied heading for the stairs. "My teddy bears are my only friends." And with that he ran upstairs and shut the door to his room just to hop on his bed and cry into his favorite teddy bear, the pink one his dad gave him on his birthday.
People judged him, they picked on him for who he was and called him bad names. But not his toys, they would stay quiet because they weren't real.
"I'm worried about him Shadow," the azure mom sighed. "Should i go upstairs and talk to him?"
"Don't be, Sonic." The streaked hedgehog sighed, having been through this he knew what it felt like to be alone. He felt like he had no one after his best friend died. "Just give the boy his time."
Sonic and Shadow were a married couple since what felt like forever now, they adopted Infinite without his knowing after his actual parent pretty much abondened him.
"I just feel like he feels like he has no one you know?" Sonic says looking at his man. "I just want him to know he has us."
"You already do enough to make him know." Shadow assured leaning forward to kiss him on the forehead. "Now, let's go upstairs and see if we can lure him out with mashed potatoes."
Sonic smiled. "Okay."
