"Haha burn you dumb insignificant beings, burn!"

Infinte had created an illusion of his school but how it should be in his eyes in his own bedroom. It was in flames, the skies completly dark as people screamed and burned down like wax. He made an illusion of Amy Knuckles and Gadget along with all his other classmates before he created a ball fire that only existed in his mind and destroyed them.

"That's what you get for not inviting me to your sleepover!" Infinite mumbled, he picked the illusions of Knuckles Gadget and Amy up in his arms and threw them on the ground before repeatedly stomping on them, his boot going through them due to not being real and completely soulless. "Stupid dumb ugly heads! You're all idiots, i didn't wanna go to your sleepover anyway i bet it sucks like you do!!" Infinite yelled that and many more insults before the door of his room opened and the yelp of his mother caught him of guard and made Infinite snap the illusions away. His room was back to being a normal child's room in a snap of a finger.

"What was that?!" Sonic screeched. Infinite's illusions could be seen by many, they seemed so real to the mobian eye but they were obviously fake. When touched or made contact with, their hand went through.

"I just made an illusion of what my school should look like, it's kinda boring but when in flames it looks kinda cool." Infinite said picking up the three toys he used as vessels for his illusions: the pink teddy, a Pikachu doll and a Woody toy and set them back on his bed.

"... Uh," Sonic worridly looked at his husband, he only shrugged.

"Anyway.. Your dad and i were wondering if you wanted to come downstairs with us and eat." Sonic said leaning against the door frame. "We made your favorite: Mashed Potatos with Mac and Cheese."

"Ooh yummy, ok." Infinite skipped to the door and walked downstairs with both dads following behind. "Can we have Icecream after?"

"Sure."

"See, i told you he was fine." Shadow whispered to Sonic as he served food for three people. Infinite sat in the dinner table playing with his dinosaur toys he left days before, he used one to stomp on another when he said: "Hey mom, dresses are flammable right?"

"Well it is an item of clothing so yes." Sonic replied handing him his plate of food and fork.

"So does that mean if i throw a lit match at Amy her dress would burn before it caused her to die?"

Sonic gave a disturbed look to Shadow.

"He's just frustrated honey, people say crazy things when they're frustrated." Shadow assured setting his plate down next to his husband.

It was either just his motherly attributes acting up but Sonic was worried about his son none the less. Taking a seat next to his lover and across his son, he watched him happily eat Mac and Cheese. He didn't look frustrated. He looked almost like a maniac but the the gleam in his eyes still held his childish innocence.

The family of three ate quietly, Sonic felt like he wanted to say something but the words never left his mouth. As for Shadow, it may of seemed like he wasn't worried but just like his 'wife' as he so called him he was just as worried but didn't show it. Maybe tonight, they'd have a talk.

When the plates were left empty, Infinite put his plate and fork into the sink, thanked his parents for a good meal before Shadow stopped him from going up to his room.

"Hey sport, wanna stay down here and watch a movie with us or something?" He thought long and hard about what Sonic said, maybe letting the jackle know he could count on them seemed like a good idea.

"Oh cool! Family movie night, yeah!" He jumped down the one stair he was on and ran to the couch. Sonic looked at Shadow impressed and grabbed the remote.

"What movie do you wanna watch 'Fin?" Sonic asked turning the tv on.

"Secret Life Of Pets!" Infinite happily exclaimed.

"Aw, are you kidding me?" The ebony dad groaned. "That's such an awful movie, the story is so forgettable, the characters are so bland and not relatable like at all and the whole thing is just a miserable ripoff of Toy Story. A better movie in my opinion." Everyone had their thing and Shadow's was film. He appreciated movies and TV way more than he should and always gave his opinion about it.

"Shadow for chaos sake, it's a kid's movie." Sonic laughed finding the movie on Netflix. He always found Shadow's dedication to movies cute and dorky.

"Animation isn't just for kids yknow!"

The two dads quietly discussed about the topic as Infinite happily watched the film. Shadow slumped through half of it leaning against the couch with his arms crossed annoyed as Sonic leaned against his shoulder. He hated this movie but he loved the smile it brought upon the jackles face.

During a small part in the movie, a series of small knocks were heard on their homes front door. "I'll get it." Sonic said getting up from the couch to swing the door open after walking to it. He was met with the sight of a young pink hedgehog in unicorn pajamas. "Uh, can i help you?" Sonic asked.

"Hi, yeah is Infinite here?" Amy asked.

"Yeah he is, are you one of his friends?" Sonic asked even clearly knowing Infinite had none but why else would a random girl ask for his son's presence?

"I guess you could say that." The pink girl shrugged. "I'm here to invite him to my sleepover, i felt kinda bad knowing he reeeeally wanted to come so is it okay if he-" she stopped midsentance when Infinite teleported by her in the blink of an eye with a duffle bag in his hand.

"Mom can i go pleaseee!" Infinite asked with the biggest puppy eyes.

"Oh, of course honey what'd your dad say?"

"He said yes! Oh please mommy pleeeeease."

"Infinite you know saying no to you is impossible, go along now and say thanks to your friends for me." After hearing those words come out of his male mother's mouth Infinite smiled and gave him a warm hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"I'll see you tommarow thanks mom and dad i love you!" And with that both children walk to Amy's house as Infinite's mom closes the door.

"The kids are gone, you know what that means." Sonic giggled making sure to lock the door.

"Oh hell yeah i know what it means." Shadow giggled as well.

Sonic pressed himself against Shadow and began grinding his hips on his laps leaving the ebony to push him away. "What're you doing?!" Shadow shreiked clearly flustered from such contact.

"Aren't we gonna have sex?" Sonic asked, It's what he meant but Shadow had other things in mind.

"No! Let's watch an actual fuckin movie c'mon, we're not 20 and horny anymore." Shadow said and started to choose his movie.

"Why is it always Shrek 2?!" Sonic asked in a loud voice as he saw what his husband picked.

"Because it's a masterpiece of a film that's why!"
