Code!Gaster would walk back and forth across 404's HQ, as he did Mecha!404 would then return, damaged. Yet still functional. 

"Ah your back, report." Code!Gaster said as he then grabbed a vial from his coat pocket and looked at the mainframe pool.

"[Capture of the subject has gone succesful.]" Mecha!404 responded with sparks flying out of his head.

"Good, but where are-"

"[However, there has been interference.]" Mecha!404 said, as back within the Au D+ would take a few steps back with 404 still in hand and Another!Sans looking back at who had arrived.

"The angel of the multiverse" Another!Sans said as he looked at Alpha, who had arrived with Ink as well.

"The hell you doing here?" D+ asked, Alpha looked at them all with disgust and venom as his eyes narrowed.

"Hand over that killer and I'll let you all go free." Alpha said

"Why y-" but D+ was stopped by Another!Sans as he turned fully around.

"We were tasked with bringing him in. King's orders." Another!Sans said

"What King? You mean that foolish oaf who sits on that throne of lies, don't be silly. I know what Au your from. Your kind aren't known to involve themselves in such trivial matters. Hand him him over to me. I've been meaning to track down this killer. Seems you've done my job for me." Alpha said

"If you think for a second we're about to-" however at that moment Alpha then with a wave of his hand transported D+ to his hell dimension instantly. 404 would drop to the ground. Supreme struggled to get up. Ink looked back at him.

"What of you?" Alpha asked, Another!Sans looked down and then Alpha. He then kicked 404 towards him and walked past him grabbing Supreme by his collar.

"I'm hoping I won't see him again." Another!Sans said as he teleported away. Alpha looked down and grabbed 404 by his neck.

"You and me have a lot to talk about." Alpha said before vanishing with 404 and Ink. Back at 404's HQ Code!Gaster filled his vile with mainframe code, he tapped it and then put it in his pocket. He then looked over as Another!Sans returned with Supreme.

"I'm going to guess the interference was too much?" Code!Gaster said, Another!Sans simply threw Supreme to the ground and looked at the mainframe pool. 

"I'm not interested in this coupe of yours any longer." Another!Sans said

"Very well, I belive I have found...another solution" Code!Gaster said as he patted his pocket and Another!Sans teleported away. Mecha!404 then looked at Code!Gaster.

"[All means of apprehending subject Error404 have dropped to...0%.]" Mecha!404 said

"Thats ok...progress takes time, we will return to the lab and rethink our approach. With this new idea I believe we can kill two birds with one stone." Code!Gaster said as he and Mecha!404 flew through the large question mark and with it vanished as well. Once back at AbyssTale in the laboratory Mecha!404 was taken to the back for repairs while Abyss walked with Code!Gaster towards the labs.

"But 404 was supposed to be our catch! He was what all of this was leading up towards!" Abyss said

"Perhaps, but a new goal has been made. If the Aus are to survive then they will need to be kept away from the chaos these...Alpha invaders have sought to bring. I now see that they are impossible to beat." Code!Gaster said as they then eventually reached his study where multiple notes of Alphatale code, talk of the mainframe and a sketch of something called the Nullvoid was drawn on a whiteboard.

"Or so I thought, then I got my hands on this." Code!Gaster said as he then pulled out some mainframe code he had locked in a vial.

"Is that..." 

"404's source of power, his invulnerability, his immortality and so much are from this." Code!Gaster said as he then put it into a machine in the corner of his room. Abyss watched it run and scan the code.

"Are you sure thats what it is?" Abyss asked

"...I have...a reliable source." Code!Gaster said as he then pressed a few buttons and then turned the mainframe code into a cube. He grabbed some gloves and picked it up before setting it down on a counter.

"I have yet to still hear of this plan." Abyss said

"The plan...is incomplete. I need time to study and dissect this piece of rare code. However, I do have a slight plan." Code!Gaster said as suddenely a quick alarm went off before stopping.

"Someone has entered the lab? but everyone is here." Abyss thought to himself.

"That would be my guest. Do you mind showing him to me." Code!Gaster said as he used a microscope to look into the mainframe cube. Abyss looked at him and then left his lab. He walked down to the entrance and then saw him, one of the mysterious figures that had started appearing when 404 showed up. Vape. He was standing at the entrance.

"You?" Abyss said

"May I come in?" He asked, Abyss nodded as he step to the side and Vape began walking past him. Abyss followed.

"Your his source?" Abyss asked

"I wouldn't use the term source, more like distant ally." Vape said as he held his hands behind his back. He had his own aura, his own feeling of pure...mystery. They then arrived at Code!Gaster's labratory. To which he turned around and nodded his head. Vape then entered the room and closed the door behind him. Abyss stood outside and then left. Vape looked around.

"Fascinating, I assume you got your hands on it." Vape said as he brought down the sktech of the Nullvoid.

"Yes, however I have little understanding of what it is. Its pure math and coded duality and yet somehow this piece seems to be the same as him. I've attempted work on these pieces before, but to no avail." Code!Gaster said

"..."

"When we last spoke, you mentioned something of a collective unconsciousness within these code fragments, something that made it...sentient. However, you spoke of it like as if it was held deeper within this strange thing. What you spoke...was it this Nullvoid?" Code!Gaster said as he turned around in his chair, Vape looked to him and nodded.

"I very much would like to get my hands on it. I have a plan that will deal with our multiverse's problems for good. However such a thing is beyond my own grasp." Code!Gaster said, Vape then walked over and sat next to him in another chair.

"The code of the Nullvoid is alive, it thinks and wills into existence the impossibility, using advanced technology and geometry. To get your hands on it, would require much more than what you've offered me before." Vape said as he then looked over towards the machine in the corner of the room.

"You built that?" Vape asked

"Oh that little trinket? I built in my spare time while those imbeciles built a flimsy copy of their opponent. A rare piece however." Code!Gaster said as he got up and walked to it with Vape.

"Its a rare piece that I cultivated...my son...enjoyed mathematics...he once said that we all share a genetic bedding that gave us all...I so wish I could see him again. We have his killer in the lower levels. They've been running folly test on him, trying to understand how he works. Infected was my worst creation. However, he will be my greatest lab rat...soon." Code!Gaster said, Vape looked at him and then towards the device.

"Fascinating, what does this do?" Vape asked

"It runs logical and illogical functions, its able to run manifolds and axions. Pathetic things such as mahlo and hyper-woodin cardinals. The regular scientist mumbo-jumbo. I call it "The conductor." It should be capable of creating fragments of reality that not even I can imagine." Code!Gaster said

"If I give you what you seek, what will you do with it?" Vape asked

"...I plan to create a place for all Aus and all things to finally be free of this world and its collective chaos. Something that not even god himself can destroy, however I wonder if even god himself could comprehend what I intend to do." Code!Gaster said as he sat down at his desk with Vape standing behind him.

"With this you'll be making god." Vape said

"What do you get out of helping me? I've never asked as you've been so good at keeping secrets." Code!Gaster asked as he turned to Vape. Vape's eyes were focused yet told nothing of his intentions or such.

"Its ok, loneliness is often the byproduct of a gifted mind. A sign of pure intellect and a showing of someone who is beyond the common fool." Code!Gaster said as he turned back around to the mainframe cube.

"You've peaked my interest. Far more than the other one I had eyes on. I had hope to mold him into something promising yet he is too focused on the past and reviving what can not be.

You however see past the future, towards the truth." Vape said as he then lifted his hand and created Nullvoid code. Shaped it into a cube and gave it to Code!Gaster.

"Fascinating, I can hear it. My son was correct afterall." Code!Gaster said

"What will you do now?" Vape asked

"...Now I will be god...no, I will be more. I will make the idea of god and let this new experiment figure out the rest." Code!Gaster said, Vape patted his shoulder and then walked tot he door.

"Not staying? your visits have always been short." Code!Gaster said

"I have to return some video tapes. I'll be back soon." Vape said as he opened the door.

"Just be sure to come back, I can't wait to test it's effects on standardized code. These metaphysical archetypes are going to work wonders." Code!Gaster said

"Don't worry, I won't miss anything. Oh and I would change your name. Such a man like you shouldn't be bound to a title or the formats of any story. Take care, Null." Vape said as he closed the door behind him and left.

"Null...a fitting name." Null said as he continued to study the Nullvoid code.
