In the TAPOPS station...

Kaizo enters inside a giant hallway where the wall is lined with giant pictures of the admirals.

Then he approaches the picture of MechAmato.

"*Touches the picture* admiral-... Amato sir. It's been years since you have disappeared."

Kaizo has always looked up to Amato who is a legendary galactic hero that he wants to be just like him since he was young.

Remembering when he's thrilled to meet him and gets to fight alongside with him on the mission.

However...

After the incident when the Knight Empire attacked the secret facility, Kaizo was surprised to find out that Amato is BoBoiBoy's father since it was kept in secret so that his enemies won't know about their connection.

Sadly...

Amato was infuriated at everyone in TAPOPS for what they did to his son that led to turn on them, and ended up joining the enemies that he was supposed to hide him from.

Kaizo feels ashamed since they send BBB on the mission alone just because of his mistakes, but they made the worst mistakes of their lives.

"I am sorry... Amato sir. I deeply regret what happened to your son. I always wanted to be strong like you. But we're not strong enough to defeat Excaliborg... And not being able to save BoBoiBoy."

He regrets what happened to BBB, but remembers from their first encounter that he tried to take BoBoiBoy and other's powers by force, and almost tried to kill him. Amato might not forgive him like his brother and the others.

While remembering after BoBoiBoy died and it hurts to see Amato suffer a deep grief.

These bad memories made him quietly leave the hallway.

Every organization of the Intergalactic Operators is participating in a tournament.

Where Jericho in his tournament outfit is the first to enter the match to face the opponent. While his friends are watching in the back seat with the audience.

Having been recovered after the incident from the dragons since it's already been months, he has already mastered wielding his weapon to manipulate the elemental gems.

He easily defeated his opponent by using the lightning gem to summon storm clouds to strike lightning and win his first match.

After leaving the arena, Jericho meets up with his friends to congratulate him.

Lumi, "you did it! You managed to win in your first match!"

Sukar, "you're getting capable of using the element gems."

Jericho, "well, Eelin added a few more upgrades, and Angsa taught me to wield it better."

But then, they're interrupted when someone is approaching them.

"Well, well, what do we have here."

When they look behind, they're surprised to see someone familiar. It is none other than Mercury and the rest of the Omegas members.

They're all not happy to see him after intentionally trying to kill Jericho twice.

The Omegas starts to antagonize if they're scared to face them.

While Felisa gets to see her younger brother again. But becomes saddened as Felix is not happy to see her.

Mercury claims they're here just to participate in a tournament so he can become a top class. But he'll be excited if he might face Jericho in the next round so he can destroy him.
Only his sister, Mirage, points out that killing is prohibited in the tournament. Or else, he'll be disqualified and won't be placed as the top class specialist.

Mercury childish becomes disgruntled but tells Jericho to get ready if they face each other for another match.

Jericho may have a powerful weapon, but mocks him that he's still weak just for being a human. If Jericho can't handle those powers just like last time, he'll just give them up to Aayiz like he gave away the light gem. The Omegas laugh just to mock him which angers Jericho where he clenched his fist like he wants to give them a punch.

"Okay break it up already. This is not the right time for this."

Only Felisa tries to break it up, telling them that this is not the right time but to focus on the tournament.

"Tch! Whatever..."

Making Felix to turn and walk away and tells to leave them for now. While Mercury tells Jericho that he will not wait for the match to face each other, if there's a chance.

Once they leave,

"That Mercury guy is the worst."

Lee-yu grew to hate Mercury and the Omegas for their bad attitude.

"I won't forget what he did to Jericho."

Lumi won't forgive him for almost trying to kill Jericho, even bringing the League Of Ninjas to attack the Alphas Operators just because of his petty reason.

But states that not only Mercury hates Jericho for being better than him, but for resembling someone familiar that he holds a grudge.

To which Sukar points out that his long white hair does resemble him and even has the same name.

Jericho admits he got this name after the previous general of the Alphas before Garu took over when he died. This name was given by his lover Seri, one of the chiefs and works as the librarian.

Also confessed that she's the one who gave him a prince like outfit since her lover used to wear it in his youth, showing that she deeply missed her lover. While being uncomfortable as Seri was interested in him when he first came by being affectionate, thinking her lover returned from the dead and turned into a teenager.

The others become bothered from hearing this, especially Lumi.

"Say what now...?"

But Jericho reassured that Angsa had been keeping Seri out of it, physically.

Anyway...

Lee-yu wonders why Mercury held a grudge. Lumi explains since she has known Mercury for a long time that his father was once the number one galactic hero in the Alphas that he always looks up to.

However, he has lost his title when Jericho took his place when proves to be better than him. Mercury holds high esteem that Jericho has surpassed his father, which greatly upsets him and calls him a loser for losing his title to someone else.

Sadly, these are the words that Mercury has said to his father where he died in the mission. That's the reason why Mercury vows to become the galactic hero and wants to beat Jericho since he was in the same mission with his father who survived.

Unfortunately, he eventually got killed as well which infuriates Mercury because he always wanted to kill him instead.

Hearing about his background makes them stay silent. But they still dislike him for what he did as it's not a good excuse for his actions. Since he was unreasonable and didn't get over his past, and acts like a bully to others just to seek for his goals as he cares no one but himself and his sister.

But Lumi tells them not to mention that to him or talk about it as he would go ballistic, to which they agree.

For now, they went to the gym to train for another match.

Elsewhere...

In the Rintis island academy,

"And now my dear students, can any of you solve this question!"

Papa Zola is having math lessons to his students and gives them to solve the math problem. But neither of them could answer because it's complicated.

So he tries to make a motivational speech to get them to answer the question with passion.

"Er..."

"Is he trying to teach us math, or is he doing poetry?"

"Or trying to show off?"

They are not impressed as they see that he's only trying to look cool.

He tries to explain further but gets interrupted when the bell rings, which the class is over and the students immediately leave the classroom.

Once they're gone, Papa Zola Zola sighed since no one has answered the question. Remembering that one of the smartest students was able to answer the complicated question and enjoyed his lesson. Which are Yaya and Ying.

"I really missed those kids..."

Papa Zola deeply missed kids as they're his closest friends. Lamenting that he'll never get to see them after leaving in separate ways. But also grief over what happened to BoBoiBoy.

The next match begins with Magi of Alphas Operators and she'll be facing Mirage of the Omegas operators.

Jericho and the others are in the back seat with the audience, they're worried as they remember their last encounter where Mirage proves to be powerful and makes their powers lose control.

When the match begins, "I can't believe I have to face her." Magi is wary of facing Mirage since her friends told her that she's as powerful as her brother.

But notice the audience are waiting for action as Mirage only stands silently looking at her. With no other choice, Magi attempts to use her power against.

However, Mirage snaps her finger, which creates an explosion that sends Magi flying and falls to the ground.

Then Mirage creates more explosions which forces Magi to run off to evade them.

She tries to blast magic powers on her, but Mirage easily deflects it by simply swiping it away with her bare hands.

But when Mirage disappears out of sight, she suddenly appears in front of Magi to block her way.

Magi casts a magic shield to protect herself, only Mirage uses her power to make the shield disappear.

Panicked, Magi tries to blast magic powers. But Mirage manipulates Magi's power to blast on her instead.

This shocks the others from watching the battle, while Mele is more angry to watch her sister getting hurt.

After receiving a blow, Mirage uses teleportation to disappear and reappears to physical attack Magi.

Then gives her a finishing blow with an explosion.

After that, Mirage won the match.

"That's it? I was expecting to be more interesting. How disappointing."

She bluntly claims to be disappointed,
While not caring about Magi being gravely injured.

Mele and the others rush to Magi at the arena.

"Hey! Hey! Magi! Stay with me sis!"

Mele tries to call for her if she's okay, only she coughs as she's in pain.

This gives Mele an angry look at Mirage, only she states that she didn't kill her, but blames her weak effort that she couldn't have a chance to beat her.

Making Magi cry for her failures. While her sister reassures that everything is alright as long as she's here for her.

When I read issue 24 of BoBoiBoy galaxy season 2 comic, I learned that Kaizo is a fan of MechAmato, BoBoiBoy's father!

Imagine what Kaizo would react if he finds out in the original series.
