Part 3

Leah never saw Greek Gods but definitely heard of them. Also heard that Adonis was the most prettiest of all. She wasn't sure how he looked but she could pass her mate as Adonis because he looked that gorgeous.

With his blue eyes narrowed at her, he had the most perfect jaw line, one that could cut diamonds and the most angular face along with the pointed roman nose. His cheekbones were so perfect that she was sure that any modelling agency will take one look and instantly nod their heads and make him sign contract.

Before she could say anything he cleared his throat and gave her a mean glare.

"Can't you watch your step? Fucking imbecile" He gritted while stepping away from her with his face scrunched and disgusted. The way he moved away so quickly stung her. What was her fault? She just accidentally collided into him and he was acting as if she committed some crime.

"It was an accident." She whimpered unable to even raise her head to look at him because his scent was so overpowering and making her hazy.

"Did I fucking asked?" He yelled loudly and she flinched at his tone, and suddenly she was aware that some passerby people were looking at them with weird looks.

Tears pooled in her eyes because no one talked to her in this manner before and it hurt her. She was always the most adored and loved person everywhere and everyone treated her like a princess. So this stung her a lot more than she can admit.

"I'm sorry" She mumbled finally, in a small squeaky voice and looked up at him. She felt her breath hitch because as she raised her head to meet his eyes,  his eyes were already trained on her.

As their stares matched she looked at him waiting for him to claim her, acknowledge her or anything that would indicate she was his mate.

But when nothing happened for few seconds she sadly sighed.

Why wasn't he doing any thing? Did he not feel it? Or was he pretending to not feel? Or he didn't really know she's his mate?

"You sorry means nothing." He rudely screamed and dusted off his blazer and adjusted it properly, as if her one push had ruined it. Her face fell even more at the action. He looked at her, from top to bottom and snorted while giving her a bored look.

"I..." She started but was rudely interrupted by his hand gesturing her to be quiet. She tilted her head and gave him a look, widening her eyes not caring that tears were already forming at the corner of her eyes.

"Save it. Stupid rogue." He cursed and huffed and with one last glare at her, stormed off from there before she could say anything. That was not at all fair. She didn't do anything and he was so angry at her.

She choked back a sob, covering her mouth with her palm as she recalled what he called her. It was true that she was rogue but calling that to someone was a bad thing, it was a curse word and she can't believe that he would say that to his own mate. Maybe she isn't his mate. But how can that be possible? Because she can smell him and the unique smell, along with her omega screaming was the biggest conformation. What more did she need? He was her mate.

No she wasn't going to cry, she thought and quickly wiped the tears. He cannot walk over her like this. If he was her mate, then she was going to make sure that he knew that. But she cannot do that if she doesn't see him. She should take the job and then she has a better chance.

She was not going to back down now. She will definitely face this interview and show him what she really can do after she gets the job, that is.

With that determination she turned around and walked towards the seating area. The whispers grew again but she didn't care. This time instead she picked something from the table and started reading. It was a interesting magazine. And she was surprised that it was a omega magazine. Most of them don't keep the omega magazines, always promoting their alpha content. Also she noticed that the author, editor and the entire staff behind the magazine were omegas.

"Next is Leah Matthews." Someone called out for her from the edge of the door and she quickly stood up from her seat.

As she made her way to the door she heard the murmurs, someone from that crowd giggling but she didn't pay much attention because they didn't matter.

"Are you Ms Matthews?" The lady asked with a kind smile on her face to which Leah nodded her head and she gestured her to follow her through the hallway.

"I am Caroline Grey. And this is my office. I'm the Secretary." She just pointed at the cabin while they were walking to which Leah nodded her head.

"Okay this is where I leave you. Good luck." She said turning around to which Leah gave her a weak smile unable to form any words.

Within few seconds she heard the heels clinking away from her indicating that Caroline walked away. She was all alone now.

Taking a deep breath she pushed at the door and entered inside the room.

As soon as she stepped inside the room she was hit by the same smell, the strong vanilla and musk and a very powerful scent. Was her mate inside?

She was sure that it must be her mate inside there. Blinking her eyes to get rid of the hazy fog she was experiencing again she walked further.

A squeak left her lips when she saw someone sitting at the table with his head bent down and as soon as he heard her footsteps sharply raised his head and looked at her.

"Mate" He growled low in his throat and raised from his seat abruptly.

She noticed that the same blue eyes had turned darker and so blue, borderline violet and she couldn't breathe for a moment.

After a while of him breathing heavily, she let out a relieved sigh. Finally it must have clicked him that she was his mate.

As she was about to step toward towards him she frowned looking at his blazer. Wasn't he wearing the black colour blazer? Why did he suddenly change his clothes? She shook her head. It must be the lighting.

"You're my mate." He asked, more like growled looking straight at her and she nodded overwhelmed to reply anything. His chest was raising and falling rapidly as if he was restraining himself from turning into his wolf form. And she knew that it must be very painful and difficult. Alphas have a hard time not leaning into the demands on their wolves. They are strong and it's always painful if they don't shift according to the demand.

She couldn't believe it that he was finally accepting that she was his mate. All it took her was to step inside the room, huh!

What happened before then?

He must have not recognised because of all the omegas and the scents combined but she was glad that atleast now he was recognising her and said out loud.

She purred at the way his lips rolled out those words and she preened raising her head, still not moving from her position and just then she heard some shuffling from outside, loud footsteps.

"E you have to see...." Someone said from the other side of the door and the sentence was muffled with the door being pushed and someone entered inside.

She was hit with the same scent. Her stomach fluttered and she felt as if her wolf would come out any moment now and she wouldn't be able to control it. What was happening?

She turned around to look at the intruder and gasped looking at the man standing near the door. He looked the one she had earlier collided with.

She blinked her eyes to confirm that she wasn't dreaming. When she opened her eyes again he was still standing there but his expression turned angry again. He had a frown eteched on his face and he crossed his arms, impatiently tapping his feet against the floor.

She turned back to check again and exhaled deeply when she realised that they were twins. Really? Of all the omegas why did she have to end up with twins? This was not going to end well. She already had that feeling in the pit of her stomach. Two Alphas. And they were twins.

"You are two Alphas"She said out loud and she heard a snort from behind her and she knew who it was. She didn't turn back, her eyes trained on her another Alpha who had a pained expression on his face. She knew what he needed so she stepped towards him and wrapped her arms around him.
