***KATE’S POV***

After the serious talk with Jennifer we had eaten and she had convinced me to stay with her. It wasn’t hard of course because I never wanted to leave her so I had told Tess to cover for me at the cabin. She didn’t want to at first of course because she thought it was a bad idea but I had pretty much ordered her. 

So she broke and corresponded. 

I had completely forgotten it was Tuesday night but I didn’t care, I never got alone time with Jennifer, and now that I had it, nothing was going to ruin it. She had understood the dangers she was in because of me and she still wanted to be with me, she was starting to fall in love with me, just like I was with her. It was different for me, and quite scary, but I couldn’t help myself, I just needed to be around her.

She made me happy.

I stood from the counter and spoke, “Can I use your bathroom?”

She smiled, nodding, “Just walk in that room and it’s to your right.”

I smiled towards her, striding cooly to her room and taking in her domain. The first thing that caught my eye was the giant mirror that extended wall to wall on the far side of her room. A dresser cut off part of the mirror image and her amour and TV laid in front of her King sized bed. Candles and decorative pillows let me know this was a very feminine room and I loved the feel of it. Her bed looked like it was stuffed with feathers and I just wanted to lay her down on it. 

I finally made my way inside her bathroom and found mouthwash, if anything was going to happen tonight the smell of my breath couldn’t be disgusting. I fixed and primped my hair and straightened my clothes, feeling better about myself as I opened the door, only to see her sitting on her bed. 

She smiled, “Would you like to stay the night?”

Her sexy voice sent shivers through my body, I watched her icy blue eyes search mine as she waited patiently for an answer. I really wanted to but would this be a good idea? I mean I had school tomorrow…

Unless I skipped, cause I really didn’t want to go. 

I stepped closer to her, “But you have work tomorrow.”

She shrugged, “I can always call in for a sub…”

It sounded good and I was convinced we could get away with it, so I shrugged, “I’ll stay if you want me to stay.”

She tilted her head, exposing her skin and teasing me slightly, her hand finding mine, “That’s like asking me if I like you, Kate.” 

“Mind if I shower then?”

She moved in closer, her lips grazing my ear slightly, “Mind if I join you?”

Her heart beat was quick, she was nervous but she felt good, and suddenly I was nervous too. I never became nervous with girls, but Jennifer was a woman, and I really liked her. Our eyes locked for a split second and I smirked, “I would like that.”

I hadn’t showered with anyone but myself, but I wasn’t going to turn her down. I wanted to see her, this is what I had been fantasizing about for months now…

So why was I so nervous?

She gently pulled me into the bathroom and turned on the water, heating it up as she turned back to me. I knew she didn’t want to start it just because she wanted to make sure this is what I wanted, so I grabbed the hem of her tank top and pulled it over her head. Her exposed chest was only covered by her bra, her sweats were hanging loosely off of her full hips teasing me as I looked at her desperately. 

Was I really doing this?

Her lips found mine and I realized this was happening, and I couldn’t be more happier than I was right now. Her hands roamed my body as she found the button to my jeans and pulled them down, allowing me to step out of them easily. 

I could hear my heart beat in my ears as we were soon both naked and under the hot running water. She was perfect, just like I had imagined as I studied every inch of her skin. My hands roamed eagerly all over her, she was so soft and I found her hair tie and pulled it out, releasing her perfect brown hair.

The shower didn’t last long because I couldn’t’ stand being cramped, I wanted her this moment. I whispered, “I wanna go to your bed.”

Her breathing hitched as her heart beat sped up, my hands found her warm body as she turned off the shower and wrapped a towel around us. I was dry instantly because of my body heat but she had to dry more, and when I scooped her and her towel up she wrapped her arms instinctively around my neck. 

She sighed, “I won’t get used to this.”

I smiled, realizing she was talking about how easily I had picked her up and set her on her bed. The dim light made her smooth skin glisten, she was perfect, more perfect than me and I wasn’t even human. I crawled between her legs, bringing my face right above hers as I kissed her jaw. She smelt so perfect, everything about her drew me in and I couldn’t’ get enough. 

Her lips found mine, this time more hungry than before, she touched my chest lightly as my hands tangled themselves in her long brown hair. 

She whispered, “Are we really doing this?”

I smiled, “Only if you want.”

She grabbed my face, kissing me passionately which instantly gave me the answer I needed. We were soon tangled in her sheets, exploring every inch of each other and soon coming undone and lying face to face. The feelings she gave me were irreplaceable, no one had ever made me feel this way except for her. 

Which scared the shit out of me. 

The way I felt about her was new, I didn’t know how to handle it, and the fact that her life was in danger because of me hurt. I didn’t want to lose her, I couldn’t lose her, no matter what because if I lost her I wouldn’t be able to stay sane. 

I would go crazy, it would devastate me, and I soon realized this is the exact reason I had never let myself become vulnerable to love.

Because of it’s possible loses. 

She smiled, “What are you thinking about?”

I whispered silently, as if we weren’t alone, “You… us, and how dangerous this is.”

Her hand found mine under the covers, pulling me into her more, “Try not to think about it.”

I shook my head, “How can I not think about losing you Jennifer?”

“Kate, it’s not just me that’s in danger, it’s you too.”

She had a point, but she was more fragile than I was and she knew that. I could defend myself against the supernatural but I knew she couldn’t, and that’s what scared me. She touched my face gently, smiling, “I love the ways your eyes look when they glow.”

I smiled, it was a first hearing that of course but it was oddly sweet. I forced them to glow, seeing the reflection in her pupils that grew from awe. I spoke softly, “Like this?”

She nodded against her pillow and I tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear, getting a slight smirk to play on her full pink lips. She whispered, “What would happen if you bit me?”

I shrugged, “It would just hurt like a bitch.”

She furrowed her brows in confusion, “You mean I wouldn’t turn into a werewolf?”

“Maybe… you would pass out and wake up feeling like you could hear, see and smell absolutely everything in here. You wouldn’t understand what happened or how to control yourself, and you would have to obey me because I’m your Alpha.”

She smirked, “You would like me having to obey you, huh?”

I heard the sexual play in her voice as I moved closer, “I would.”

Her lips were inches from mine, seductively  whispering, “I think I would have a hard time doing that.”

I felt her naked body next to mine, her smooth skin pressing against me as I pulled her body closer. She smelt so good and amazing, she had made me feel absolutely amazing too.  She was just amazing, and I knew deep down I needed her someway and some how, and why being away from her hurt me so badly.

Leaving tomorrow would be near impossible.

The morning soon came when I slowly opened my sensitive eyes as the morning sun flooded in. she stirred along with me as I felt her body pressed against mine, forcing an unconscious smile to play on my lips. Her blue eyes slowly peeked from under her eye lids as she spoke, “Morning.”

I smiled, “Morning.”

She looked gorgeous, her hair was still in place even after last night, her face wasn’t flushed and her skin was golden.

How could someone be this perfect without even trying?

She sighed, “I guess I need to call in for a sub?”

I shrugged, “I’m actually thinking you should go to school, and I’ll go back to Dean’s.”

“Don’t want to spend the day with me?”

I leaned in, kissing her neck and smiling, “I have a lot to take care of, and your students need you there today.”

She tilted her head, “I think you need me more than them.”

I squinted in playful manner, “I bet I’ll be the only one to make a hundred on your exam.”

She smiled, “Fine, but you’ll be there tomorrow right?”

I nodded, “Yes ma’am.”

I was finally back at camp when I noticed Dean was outside bright and early, it was cold out but the sun wasn’t being shy. It was almost the middle of winter and the cold never even affected us, we didn’t even feel the temperature change.

It was actually quite cool.

He muttered, “Why aren’t you in school?”

“I wanted to talk to you.”

He looked at me seriously, and he knew exactly what I wanted to discuss just from my tone. He sighed, “Why all of a sudden?”

“Because you pretty much just summoned us all to our deaths by killing that girl Dean. I should have a say so now, I can control myself. If I’m the Female Alpha this pack will be ten times as strong as we are now and you know it.”

He growled, “Being an Alpha is a big responsibility.”

I rolled my eyes, “Really? Because you killing that girl and drawing a revenge symbol on her back wasn’t really responsible Dean and you know it.”

He turned, growling loudly, “I was protecting you and that lady you’re involved with. I know Kate, I’m not stupid, and you and me both know it’s dangerous and completely irresponsible. So don’t you start throwing that around.”

I knew he had a point as I slumped back in embarrassment, “What are we going to do?”

He turned back to what he was doing, mumbling a response, “We’re going to fight.”

I threw my hands up in confusion, “We can’t go up against them! If their numbers are big we can’t fight them with just us 6 Dean.”

“We will have lessons starting today, you missed that announcement last night when you were at Jennifer’s.”

I growled, “How did you know?”

He rolled his eyes, “You reek of her scent Kate, you think I don’t remember it?”

“How are we going to fight against them?”

He sighed, “They may have a lot of numbers but their Alpha is weak, she’s not even the True Alpha. The Male Alpha that David, your father, killed was and this is his Mate. If you can prove to me that you’re ready to step up and take your true place here next to me, we will be near the most powerful Pack we’ve ever been. We might all be able to change to our Full Wolf, and if that become possible… we will win, Kate.”

I stated hopefully, “Then we will all be safe?”

He nodded, “Then, will we all be safe.”
