"Willow," Timber said without looking behind him, "why are you away from your tree?" He started panicking.

"I told you, I wanted to meet other wolves, I can't live like this anymore," Willow answered. There was a hint of worry in her tone. Just then the twins turned around and Celestia let out a little yelp.

"A-an air wolf!" Screeched Twilight, "am I dreaming?" He looked at the wings with his dark blue eyes widening. He reached his small black paw out to touch the feathers but Willow backed away.

"How is that possible? Stone was right! The air orb is still here! But she doesn't look five yet Timber," said Celestia. Stone is the three golden stared, earth wolf that mentors her. Out of all the yearlings Celestia has the highest ranked mentor.

"I think I'm a wish, a wish from Alpha," Willow responded. "I was born like this." Willow then knew this was a bad idea to meet these young wolves.

"Well you guys can't tell anyone about her, the tribes could think she's a curse," Timber ordered.

Twilight stiffened and said, "we need to get her away from our tribe then! Timber get away from that curse!" He pulled his big brother away from the white and blue wolf. Willow got offended, slightly pinning her ears back.

"Well I better get going now, now that you all know about me. I bet you'll end up telling the whole tribe," Willow sighed.

"Don't worry I won't tell," Celestia promised, "just look at her, Twilight, does she look like a curse to you?" She pointed her paw at the strange wolf.

"Well I guess your right," Twilight added. "But Timber, how do you know her?" He looked at his bigger brother.

"It was when I went too close to the Willow tree," Timber answered. Willow then looked concerned.

"I think I hear someone, what if it's Rubyflame!" She started panicking and galloped towards her tree.

"How do you know Ru..," Celestia got cut off.

"No time to explain!" Then she ran far into the trail to where you could just make out the tip of her white tail against the darkness.

"Timber? Celestia? Twilight?" Called out an old male wolf. It was Starrock, the guard. Chase must of told him about how he heard something in the tree near the Mountain tribe, and how Mountain tribes very own queen came to yell at them. "Where are you guys?"

Willow was long gone when Starrock finally emerged from the trail. "Why are you guys so far from camp? Get away from that tree! I heard that you yearlings were hanging around there."

"We're sorry sir," Timber said and dipped his head in shame.

"We're sorry," Celestia and Twilight said in unison and Starrock was apologized. He lead the yearlings back to camp leaving Willow alone once again.

Willow rushed through the trees, dogging every bush and rock on the trail. I must get out of here, oh why oh why did I show them myself? She thought while running.

Where oh where should I go? She knew nothing about the Land of Wonders, no map, no idea where the other tribes were.

She ran passed the Willow tree, making her way into Mountain territory. Her paws kicked into the fall leaves, making little rustles with every step.

I need to be more quiet. Yet there was only one way and she knew she had to do it. She lifted her small body off the ground and started flapping her beautiful wings.

She heard wolves from below her, yelling out words. She started hovering, trying to make out what they said.

"It's the Forest tribe... Forest... I heard something!" We're the words that came from the angry wolves.

Mountain tribe! Willow recalled and then glided down into a tree so she could hide. They must of heard me, and thought it was Forest tribe! Oh no what have I done? Shame rushed through Willow, I am a curse.

Minutes passed as she waited to take off away from the tree and find somewhere she can hide. The tribe was running around, gathering troops near the tree she landed in.

Then there it was, what she knew was going to happen all along, the battle cry. It copied the one from the yellow yearling, just this one was stronger, louder.

You started a battle Willow! What have you done? The voice seemed to haunt her.

She then saw the same queen she saw earlier rushing down from a hill, followed by many wolves. As they all made their way to Forest tribe Willow took of on foot to a place where she'd be safe.

Starrock was already at the edge of Forest tribe's territory as the Mountain tribe approached. "What do you want mountain tribe?" Asked the elderly guard. Queen Lilac and ten warriors were standing right behind him while the rest of the tribe watched from the shadows.

"We heard you Forest wolves on our territory again!" A massive black wolf groweled.

As the arguments when on Timber squeezed through the crowed to see what was going on, other yearlings were close by.

I have to get out of here! I must find Willow! He glanced over at his mentor, Rubyflame and noticed she was freaking out. He tried to find his siblings but the area was too packed and it was way too dark out to see anything.

"Twilight?" Timber called out. He waited but he heard nothing. He saw him a minute ago, where did he go?

Timber scurried through the crowed, looking for them. He noticed a growl coming from ahead and then his mind got filed with fear. The first bite, followed by the first scratch, and the first drop of blood.

"Celestia? Twilight?" He called out, but he couldn't even find out the identity of his own tribe.

"Timber?" Called out a voice. It wasn't his brother, nor his sister. It was Clover, Chase,s sister. "Help!" She called out. She was trapped around a circle of fighting wolves.

"I'm coming!" Timber yelped, but then a wolf rammed into his side causing his mouth to start bleeding. "Clover!" He called, get a group of wolves blocked the view and one ended up stepping on him.

It was midnight now, he was lost in the chaos of wolves. He knew no one, and if he did recall them it didn't take long before more wolves ran into their view.

He was weak and aching. The brown yearling forced himself up but another wolf ended up running into him, so he stayed down. He now heard a series of growls and howls, barks and cries. But then he heard what he never wanted to hear. It was Goldenfreeze, his own mother.

A high pitched yelp came from her voice as he noticed a dark red wolf grabbing onto her leg. Two warriors were bitting at the enemies leg, trying as hard as they could to make him let go. When he couldn't hold on any longer, there it was, a burst of flames came flying across his skin causing Goldenfreeze's icy body to melt.

One of the healers came running over to her, and the enemy already fled knowing that he couldn't take on the other two warriors.

"Goldenfreeze? Can you hear me? Say something?" The healer said. Her name was tulip, and she was the tribes best healer.

Timber raced over to his mother with all the strength he had left. Running the wolves over if he had to, he had to see her.

"Mother!" He called out, yet she lay motionless, her eyes staring into the distance. The healer placed her paw onto her pelt, making almost what looked like sparkles appear across her. It didn't help.

"I think I'm too late Timber," Tulip said with a frown on her face. "She tried her hardest to defend herself, she was very brave." A large green wolf came running up towards her, it was the queen who was also a healer. "Please tell the pups, mothers, and mentors to go back to camp," ordered Tulip.

A howl came from the queen as she gave everyone the order, the pups started scurrying down the path and Timber noticed Celestia with a big cut on her ear.

"No, please no!" Timber panicked looking back at his mother. She still hasn't moved. He looked around at the battle field and noticed even more wolves using their powers.

"I'm sorry Timber," Tulip said in her gentle voice, "but this is what wars bring." She then ran to the other side of the clearing to tend to another wolf who Timber couldn't even see from where he was standing.

He remembered from his training when his own mother said, "yes battles may have bites and scratches, but when a wolf uses his powers to kill another... You know that's a war." After that he ran back to camp to find his fleeing friends.

What has happened? Why did Alpha do this! I have to get out of here, and I need to bring my friends. We will find Willow and that air orb and save our tribe! And a single tear fell from his face
