Lily awoke that afternoon to an empty bed with no sign of Kaden. Her heart sank as she slowly and wearily pushed herself up to sit up straight in her bed and crossed her legs loosely. The sheets ruffling around her waist as Lily sighed and ran a hand through her long brown hair, getting it snagged every few centimeters. Her hand then fell with a thud to the sheets as she sighed once again and looked around the room, pondering on what she could do for the day.

" Shower." Lily muttered to herself as she swung her legs over the side of the bed and walked bare foot towards the joined bathroom. Locking the door and turned to walk over to the shower and turned on the warm water to pour down. Lily stepped back pulling off her shirt and looking to the mirror to scan over the woman before her. Lily's eyes trailed down to her neck on the right side to see Kaden's mark of red teeth indents. Her hand reached up and brushed gently over the marked skin. A small amount of pain shivered through her but also the a happiness washed over her as well at the understanding that she now was his. It won't be too long until she would go into heat, and before long, eventually mate with the Alpha. Even just the thought of such, made Lily shake with a new found lust. Something which she had never felt before, not when Alpha Cole would put his hands upon on her, nor when he looked to her with a lustful gaze.

Lily quickly shook her head to get rid of such thought, she knew she no longer had to worry about that beast. She turned and stripped herself of any clothing left upon her back and stepped into the warm water. Her muscles relaxed under the gentle beating of liquid. Lily quickly finished her shower in record time and jumped out to a steamy bathroom. She grabbed the nearest deep purple towel and wrapped it around her small frame before walking out and into the bedroom. Giving a soft hum she walked to the wardrobe and opened it to show the few piece of clothing which she had borrowed from Kaden, seeing as she only had the one set of clothing. Knowing she would have to shopping sooner or later to get clothing for herself -she just hoped it would be the latter.-

" Baby?" Kaden's husky voice sounded from behind her as he opened the door and walked in. Lily jumped and squealed at the fact she was only covered with a towel and a - no doubly- horny wolf in the room. Lily done the one thing that had flew into her mind; jump into the wardrobe.

" Baby what's wrong?" Kaden asked worried as he rushed forward.

" Stop right were you are! Hell have you ever heard of knocking?!" Lily squealed as she closed the wooden doors to put up a barrier between them.

" Do I need to knock to come into my mates room?" Kaden asked with a smirk upon his face, his hands reached for the door handles of the wardrobe.

" God damn it, Kaden! Don't you bloody well even think about opening these doors! The only door you should be opening is the one you use to leave my good damn room!" Lily rambled to him as Kaden could only chuckle at the use of her petty swear words.

" Now, now. No such words for a pretty lady! Why should I not want to see my mate?" Kaden spoke and Lily could only hear the smirk in his voice.

" Because I am bloody well naked as the day I was born! With only a towel!" She yelled the last part to Kaden, his smirk fell as he growled very deep and dangerously before the doors of the wardrobe swung open. Lily looked up to see Kaden looking down to her with a face echoing lust and his once blue irises had now been taken over with diluted pupils. Kaden reached in and grabbed Lily by her upper arms and pulled her from the wardrobe. Lily held on tightly to her towel as it was the only thing separating her naked self from Kaden's wondering eyes.

" Never hid from me, Lily bird." Kaden whispered deeply into her ear as his hands fell to her waist and pulled her towards him. He buried his face deep into her neck and placed a gently almost no existent kiss onto his mark. This cause unexplainable pleasure to spill through her entire body with an involuntary moan to go along with it.

" No one will ever make you feel like this apart from me. Only I can give you this." He whispered before once again kissing her mark. Lily felt her knees buckle from her and if it was not for Kaden's hands on her waist she would have fell to the ground for the sheer bliss of the kiss.

" Kaden..." Lily began just as the door to her room burst wide open and a frantic Austin stood in the door frame. Kaden growled possessively at him as he pushed Lily behind his back away from Austin's gaze.

" You better have a good reason for barging into my mates room!" Kaden snarled in anger to his beta.

" Alpha Foster." Austin began straightening his back and looking to him. "The pack is being attacked as we speak on the west side."

" What?! By who?" Kaden asked quickly all anger from Austin gone and replaced by anger for the attacker. Austin seemed to look worried as his eyes looked to Lily who was pecking out from behind a tall brooding Kaden. Kaden growled impatiently and a warning as to not to look at Lily in the way she is.

" Alpha... Cole." He whispered as Lily gasped and a hand flew up to her mouth. Her eyes filled with fear at the mention of his name. Lily gripped Kaden's shirt tightly from behind as she resting her head in the dip of his tense back. Tears weld up in her eyes at even the thought of that beast hurting her new pack.

" Get the Warriors now! I will be there shortly." Kaden ordered Austin who nodded and ran off closing the door. Kaden turned to look at Lily who was taking deep breaths to calm herself down. His hands placed themselves onto each of her cheek as he kissed her forehead.

" I know why he is here." Lily began softly as she lifted her gaze to Kaden. "He wants me."

" He will not succeed. I promise you." Kaden reassured her as she nodded and straightened her back.

" I want to talk to him." Lily spoke with confidence.

" No way, I will..." Kaden began.

" Kaden I am going, I must talk with him." She told him with no place to leave for discussion. There was a moment of silence before Kaden sighed.

" Fine, but promise me if things go wrong. You will run back here and that you will not stop." Kaden spoke to her.

" Promises can be broken." Lily spoke causing Kaden to frown and his muscles tense. He opened his mouth to spoke but was stopped by Lily placing a gently finger onto his lips. "So I swear to you I will."

" Thank you, Lily." Kaden spoke to her as he kissed her finger and pulled her into a bone crushing embrace.
