Lily opened her eyes and turned her head to the right, the morning light filtered in through the small gap between the curtains that covered the windows. She took in a deep breath as she moved around beneath the deep blue silk sheets to swing her legs over the edge of the large bed. Her soft bare feet hit the cream carpet as she walked over to the window to pull open the curtain to let the light fill the room. Lily wore a grey shirt which stopped just above her blue underwear as her long brown hair was tied back.

" Good morning, beautiful." A deep husky voice whispered down into Lily's ear as a pair of strong arms wrapped around her from behind. Lily jumped slightly at the sudden appearance of Kaden's arms.

" Jesus! Do you have to go all ninja assassin on me all the bloody time?" Lily hissed clutching her rapidly beating heart as Kaden chuckled deeply and kissed her neck.

" I'm sorry, Baby." He chuckled continuing to kiss Lily's neck sending delightful tingles down her whole back, she subconsciously leand her to the side to give him a larger area. She let out a small moan of pleasure as his teeth grazed over her skin gently before kissing one place the sent shivers let she had never felt before to rip through her body.

" The pack mark is beginning to show." Kaden whispered as he looked at the neck line on her back, faint black lines were beginning to appear upon her skin.

" But right here," Kaden began as he moved his lips higher to the curve between her neck and shoulder, his teeth grazed over her skin causing Lily to feel light headed from the pleasure that ripped through her. "Is where my mark will go, when you are ready."

" Kaden." Lily moaned as Kaden continued his assault on her neck. Kaden's hands moved to her hips and twisted her around to face him. His forehead fell onto her forehead as he pulled her impossible closer by her hips.

" Lily, may I kiss you?" Kaden asked trying hard to restrain himself from just attacking her lips right there and then. Lily's hands rested upon his toned chest which was covered with a black shirt. Moments passed and soon Kaden was beginning to think she did not want to kiss him there.

With a sigh, Kaden was about to pull back when a hand wrapped around the back of his neck. Pulling his head down and lips attacked his own. Kaden immediately kissed back as his right hand moved up to her cheek and his left hand squeezed her hip as he licked her bottom lip gently. Lily parted her lips to allow him to explore, they fought for dominance. But Kaden won as he reached down and lifted Lily up by her thighs as she wrapped her legs around his waist.

Kaden turned and walked away from the window, not breaking the kiss and he gently placed Lily onto the bed with him lay over the top of her. His left hand held his body up from crushing her as his right stroked up and down her thigh. Kaden moved his mouth to her neck and his hand trailed up and under her shirt to run over her stomach, just below her bra. Lily let out a small moan as his hot breath on her skin before his mouth found its way over her jawline and up to her mouth again. Lily's legs wrapped themselves around his waist pulling him closer to her body, feeling the heat pull within her stomach. His lips moved again to her neck as his teeth scraped over her skin.

" Kaden," Lily breathed out as her back arched up to meet Kaden above her. "Mark me." Kaden smirked against her neck before kissing it softly.

" You sure baby?" He whispered fanning his warm breath over her skin, Lily could only nodded to his as her voice failed. "It will hurt. But I promise to try and be as gentle as I can."

" I trust you." Lily said gently, Kaden smiled happily as she spoke those words. They may not be 'I love you', but it was damn well close enough for him. With one last gently kiss, Kaden extended his teeth and nipped at the area he would mark. A moment later, Kaden quickly sank his teeth deep into her neck causing Lily you squirm in pain underneath him. A quiet sob poured out from her mouth as Kaden closed his eyes, hearing her whimper in pain struck him deeply. But he had to continue in order to finish marking her. Kaden could smell the salt from her tears as he pressed his teeth further into her neck.

" It hurts, Kaden." She whimpered as Kaden took her hand into his in order to calm her down. He interlocked her fingers into his hand squeezed. All those stories about the marking being painful at first but then sheer pleasure after words, where all lies. Marking was a painfully process, no pleasure came from marking. The higher ranking the female's mate is, the worse the pain will be. So Lily's mate being an alpha, meant she was experiences the worst of markings.

Not too long after, Kaden slowly began to pull his teeth from her neck causing her to whimper in pain. Once his teeth had totally been removed from Lily's neck, Kaden kissed the wound before running his tongue over the broken skin to stop the bleeding. Lily lay underneath Kaden, panting deeply from the pain that was slowly disappearing. Kaden reached down and lifted his top to wipe away the blood that was around his mouth.

" Get some rest, my love. You need it." Kaden whispered as he placed a soft kiss onto her forehead and rolled over to his side and pulled Lily closer to him. His warm body felt to welcoming and safe for Lily as she snuggled herself as close as she could to him. Even thought it was still only morning time, Lily was washed over with exhaustion from Kaden's marking of her. The morning light landed upon the cuddling couple upon the ruffled sheets of the bed as they basked in each other's closeness. The pain in Lily's neck continued to nip at her as she listen to Kaden's beating heart sounding gently underneath her.

"The pain will go away very soon, my darling." Kaden whispered pulling her closer to him, kissing the top of her head. Lily soon felt herself overcome with exhaustion and quickly allowed the pitch black sleep to take away the ever persistent pain.
