Lily glided gracefully through the pack house halls towards the back door with only one thought in her mind. She made it to the large double glass doors and placed her hand onto the golden handle. The cold metal held tightly inside her grasp.

" Where are you going? I hope your not going to run away again." A stern voice called from behind her causing her hand to loosen her grip of the old metal. Lily turned her head around and her body slightly to see the familiar head of floppy blond hair.

" Austin, I am just heading out to give my wolf a stretch. She's clawing to get out. " Lily spike turning back to the door and opening it. "And no, I'm not going to runaway again. I said I would give Kaden a chance and I will."

" I will come with you. Just in case, if I let you go out and you don't come back. Kaden will have my head on a plate!" Austin chuckled as the walked out onto the lawn. Lily pulled off her top leaving her in her bra and jeans, causing Austin to turn his now list full gaze away from her.

" You should not just take off you clothes in front of an unmated wolf." Austin growled as Lily just chuckled and threw the shirt to the ground in a heap. The sound of flesh ripping and bones snapping out of place rippled through the air before Austin turned his gaze back to her. His eyes widened at the sight he saw before him.

" This is your wolf?" He asked in sheer amazement as there, standing before him was a snow white wolf. Her features were elegant and flawless with a gentle small and thin facial structure. Her duel coloured eyes where at lot larger and more noticeable in this form with their long lashes. She was the essence of beauty and grace, her posture held so much pride and dignity in her stance. Austin was beginning to doubt her past which Kaden had informed him about.

' Yes this is my wolf.' Lily spoke to him through the mind link. Austin nodded as Lily turned her self around and began to pad her way elegantly over to the forest's edge.

' I forgot to ask... Where is Alpha Kaden?' Lily spoke as the sound of bones snapping and flesh ripping sounded before a fairly larger built wolf trotted to her left side. His wolf was a dusty grey and white with blond here and there.

' Last I heard he was out for a run himself.' Austin then trotted to the forest with Lily not too far behind.

'Race ya!' Lily yelled rushing past him not giving Austin a chance in the race.

'Hey! You cheated!' He yelled after her as he too burst into a run.

'Your just slow!' Lily called back as their paws hit the ground with a light thud sending them forwards dodging and jumping trees and over small creeks. After a few minutes they slowed down and stopped next to a small stream with fast flowing water. Lily walked over and bent her head down to take some of the fresh cooling water. Austin joined her lapping up the liquid with greed and hast.

'You run fast.' Austin spoke to Lily lifting his head.

' Thank you. You run pretty slow, but I am guessing that would be because you are more the strength type of wolf.' Lily spoke turning her nozzle to face him at her side. Austin nodded to her.

' Indeed I am. Well observed, I can tell you're speed and agility.' Austin observed as well and Lily nodded.

'Austin, I'm scared. Lily said sitting down and resting her head against her paw with a whimper.

'You have nothing to be afraid of, Luna.' Austin said nudging her shoulder slightly trying to cheer her up, but ultimately proved useless.

' But I do, I cannot take care of a pack! I can barely look after myself. I would fail at being the Luna!' Lily winced to Austin as soft cries sounded from her.

' Luna, you will be great. Plus tonight you will become part of the pack! You will be one of us and trust me when I say this. You will be great.' Austin said softly as he lay down next to her and they watched the stream moving swiftly down passed them.

' I don't know what to do. I don't know if I am ready to have such a position! ' she told him closing her eyes.

'Listen to your heart. It will guide you in the right direction.' Austin spoke as they allowed the rippling sounds of the stream take over the forest. Austin stood up abruptly, catching Lily's attention. Austin let out a deeply low and dangerous growl as he spun to face the opposite direction. He stood ready to attack whom ever scent he had picked up.

'Lily, stay behind me. I do not recognise his scent.' Austin told her as she stood up and moved behind Austin her ears down with her tail slight tucked behind her. Austin barked loud enough to tell the unfamiliar person to reveal themselves and that's what they did. A large grey wolf appeared from behind the trees with its head lowered down in submission.

'Beta Austin. I'm sorry, I-I did not mean to scare you.' A whimper came from the wolf as Austin stood in front of Lily keeping her seperated from the male wolf before them.

' I was sent by a wolf that gave me no name. I was to hand your Alpha this letter.' The wolf spoke putting his right paw forward and there, strapped to his leg was a letter.

' What is my mate doing out here alone with two unmated male wolves?' A growl boomed deeply from Lily's left. Everyone turned to look as a large well built black wolf with blue eyes stalked out and into view. They way he held himself just echoed power and danger as he walked over to Lily.

' Alpha,' the grey wolf spoke and bowed his head lower if at all possible. 'I was sent by an unnamed wolf to give you this letter.' The wolf informed him moving his nozzle to point to the envelope.

' Beta Austin, take our guest to my office. I will be there in a while.' Kaden ordered as Austin nodded and motioned for the wolf to follow him. Soon they had left leaving Kaden and Lily alone in the middle of the forest. Kaden's black wolf stalked over to her standing a good few inches taller and longer than her. Kaden tapped his black nose onto hers softly.

' are you alright, my love?' Kaden asked in a gentle and warm voice, it no longer held his strong power and dangerous deminor it had only a few moments ago.

' Austin was protective of me. He gave me words that a needed.' Lily said softly to him. Lily stepped forward and rubbed the top of her head under his chin in a form of a hug to him. Kaden let's out a purr if happiness as the tingles erupted from there touch.

' come on, lets get back. You have to get ready.' Kaden spoke, Lily could her the smirk in his voice. Lily nodded as she followed steps behind him back towards the pack house.
