Kari's POV:

I run up the stairs holding a bowl filled with candy and chocolate bars. After hanging out with Evie for a little while, I asked if Polly would watch Evie for the night and her daughter Rosie could have a sleepover with Evie. Both girls are best friends so they loved the idea. I make it into Macy's room and shut the door. "Oh thank god! That looks delicious!" Mimi shouts. She runs over and grabs some food from the bowl.

"Hey! Wait until I place the bowl down would you?" I laugh at her. She frowns and walks over to Macy's bed. I place the bowl on the floor and look at my surroundings. Mimi's on the bed while Macy, Gina and Laine are on the floor. Wow I haven't seen them in a while. "So what are we up to tonight?" I ask them.

Gina looks up from her book and says, "Well I say we stay in and watch a movie." Mimi plops up from the bed and gives her a dirty look.

"All you ever want to do is stay in. I say we go out tonight. I heard the boys were hitting the clubs and I know we can definitely get in if we dress properly." She says with a wink. Laine smiles.

"I second that." I look down at my hands. I don't know, maybe I shouldn't go out.

"I also agree, Kari how about you?" Macy says happily.

"I'm not sure..." I say slowly. I hear a sigh and Laine stands up.

"Alright girl, I know we might not have gotten off on the right foot but you should come out tonight. Honestly it will be nice. And plus your new boy toy will be there so it's all set." I look up at her. Wow this is a different side to Laine. "Now let's all get ready!" Everyone stands up, including Gina.

"Uh." I say as I get to my feet. "I don't really have anything to wear." I admit sheepishly. Macy turns to Laine and smiles.

"Oh we totally have something for you to wear. But for now, go get on your your cutest pair of underwear and meet me and Laine in her room in ten minutes!" Macy says and pushes me and the other girls out of her room.

I smile "okay!" I head off toward my room and enter. I hear the shower on, so I assume that Bryce is showering. Memories of my wolf acting up earlier flash through my mind. I should apologize for leaving him like that... Okay, I'm just going to do it at the club when we meet up with the guys. After deciding that, I walk into the closet I search through my underwear and bras. I find a cute matching pair that consisted of a black lacy thong and a black lacy strapless bra with a little pink bow in the middle of it. I put them on and throw one of Bryce's gym shirts over myself and put on a pair of my own gym shorts. I smell Bryce's shirt and smile to myself. He smells so good, his scent is addicting.

After enjoying Bryce's smell lingering around me, I decide to go and meet Macy and Laine. I walk out of the closet and into the hallway. I head to Laine's room and think to myself.

I wonder what they are going to have me wear? Probably one of Laine's dresses because we have more of the same body type. We both have a sporty girls body. We aren't tiny but we aren't fat at all. We just have some muscle. While Mimi and Gina are tiny and Macy is just curvy. Although Laine has bigger boobs than me... I kind of wish mine were bigger but you get what you get right?

I make it to Liane's room and knock on the door. "Come in!" A voice shouts. I open the door and see Laine dressed in a short white dress with her blond locks falling in perfect waves down her body. Now that I look at her, Laine has some nice curves too. The dress she's wearing accentuates her boobs and makes them look nice. Damn why can't mine be that nice? I sigh to myself. I glance beside her to see Macy. She is in a short blue dress that hugs her curvy body as well. It has a slight sparkle to it and really brings out her blue eyes. "Kari come here." Laine says and grabs my hand dragging me over to the bed. It's so weird seeing this side of her.

"We have a dress for you and we are going to do your hair and make up!" Macy says and grabs the dress of off the closet door. "Now go put it on!" She thrusts the dress toward me and hurries me into the bathroom. I put on the dress and smile. Perfect fit! It's a dark purple dress that is quite short. The dress is a one shoulder dress but it has one long sleeve connected to the shoulder part. It's simple yet sexy. I walk back out to see the girls. When I open the door they turn around and open their mouths.

"Damn girl, who knew you had such a nice body under there." Laine says. I blush and look down. "Oh don't get all modest on me, you know you're hot! Now lets throw on some makeup and do your hair so we can leave." Both girls approach me and lead me into the bathroom. Macy grabs the makeup and Laine grabs the curling iron.

After about forty torturous minutes I finally get to see myself. I look at the mirror in amazement. Oh hot damn. My hair is curled beautifully and lands gracefully over my shoulders. My eyes are done to show off the violet in them. "Wow, you guys are amazing." I state.

"Oh we know, now come on we are going to be late!" Macy shouts and runs toward the door and out of the room. I laugh as she leaves and turn to Laine.

"You ready?" I ask her. She nods then adds.

"Oh I'm ready but you're not, you need shoes." She walks to her closet and comes out with black high heels. "Hope you know how to walk in these suckers." She hands them to me and I laugh.

"Of course I know how to walk in heels, I'm a girl, it's in my blood." I state proudly. I put them on and follow Laine out of her room. Half way down the steps I almost fall on my face but I compose myself. I hear laughter from Laine and I know she heard me stumble. Great, these things are harder to walk in than I thought and now I look stupid.

We meet the rest of the girls in a small limo and I look at them strangely. "Why do we have a limo? You guys have cars?" I ask them. Mimi rolls her eyes at me and laughs.

"Oh silly, we are obviously not going to be able to drive home so we have a limo!" She states as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

I nod at her and shrug my shoulders, "Makes sense." I hop in and we leave to the club. "So what is this place like anyway?" I ask them.

"It's an all werewolf club, to get in you just have to act like you're twenty-one. Or you just have to get on the bouncers good side. Trust me, Laine gets us in all the time because she flirts her panties off with the bouncer." Macy states. Laine smirks proudly.

"Hey don't judge me for being sexy, it works doesn't it?" She says with confidence.

"Whatever helps you get through the day Laine..." Macy says rolling her eyes, and we fall into a huge fit of laughter.

The rest of the ride continues with us teasing one another and laughing. This whole girls night thing is pretty fun! Sure we will be with the guys soon, but just having a few hours as just the girls was really nice. The limo pulls up to a fancy club, you can hear the music blaring while we are still in the car. I smile to myself. This is so cool I have never been to a club before. We walk out of the limo with confident strides and make our way to the front of the line. Laine walks right up to the bouncer and winks at him. He smiles and eyes her up and down. He nods his head and clears the crowd, allowing our small group to walk right in. As we pass, Laine reaches up on her tippy toes and kisses the man on the cheek. Honestly, I give her props for that. I would never be able to kiss some random guy on the cheek just to get me into a club.

As we walk past the rest of the guards I catch them all eying us. I don't blame them, I mean there are five hot chicks just walking into a club in skimpy outfits, who wouldn't want to check that out? We stride into the huge room that has huge clusters of people everywhere doing different things. Most are dancing or drinking though. The girls walk over to a table and I follow. They put down their stuff but Gina just sits in a chair.

"I think I'm going to sit this one out." She says and takes a book out from god knows where. I stare at her in disbelief.

"Wait so you got dressed, and came out here with us to read? You're not even going to have a drink?" I ask her. She shrugs her shoulders and begins to read her book.

"Yes, that's exactly what I'm doing. Also, I might have a drink later, it depends on how I feel though." I'm still shocked, why didn't she just stay home? I feel someone grab my wrist and I look up to see that it's Laine.

"Come on let's go get some drinks and hit the dance floor." I smile and nod. She leads me to the bar and orders two drinks that I have never heard of. When the man comes back he places to glasses that almost look like margarita glasses. The liquid is green, I grab mine and smell it. Hmm, it definitely smells like alcohol, but it has a bit of fruitiness to it. I gingerly take my first sip and almost spit it out. I hear Laine laugh at me. "Don't tell me this is your first time drinking alcohol." She says to me.

"Yeah it is..." I state with embarrassment. I go in to take another sip, and surprisingly it taste a lot better than the first. I guess I just had to get over the initial shock. "It's actually not that bad." I say to her after a moment. She pats me on the back and laughs at statement.

"It gets a lot better after a while." She says and leads me back to the table. "So after a couple more sips do you want to go dance?" She asks me hopefully.

"Sure thing, but where are Macy and Mimi?" I ask her. She frowns and points toward the dance floor. I follow her finger and see both girls grinding up on guys that I've never seen before. "Oh." I say turning back around.

"Yeah this happens every time we come to the club. All they do is dance with strangers, honestly I just want to have a good time and dance with the girls but I'm always stuck with Sour Sally over here." She says disappointedly while jerking her thumb in Gina's direction. I laugh because she is so absorbed into her book that she didn't even hear Laine's comment.

"Well I will dance with you!" I say excitedly. She smile at me.

"You have to dance with me, or else your mate with get pissed at you!" She says through laughter. I frown. Damn she's right I didn't think about that, but I mean it's not like I wanted to dance with other guys. No one is really attractive to me besides Bryce anyway.

"Touché, but I wouldn't want to dance with random guys anyway, it's not really my thing." I say with a shrug. Laine places her drink on the table and stands abruptly.

"Want to go now?" She asks me with excitement clear in her eyes. I nod and stand. She walks toward the dance floor gracefully and I follow behind her looking not so graceful. She gently makes her way to the middle of the dance floor and pulls me into the huge mess of sweaty bodies. She laughs hard as I practically trip, but I somehow manage to catch myself. Yeah, I really need to learn how to walk in these heels. Then a song that I kind of know comes on and I get the urge to dance. Laine dances too and I just let the music take over.

We certainly love to dance, we have been on the floor for over an hour and we are still going strong! Just then hand come down on my hips and I shudder in disgust. I turn and see a man who definitely looks like a player. I rip his hands off me and dance closer to Laine. She just got rid of a boy too. She leans over and yells in my ear, "You'd think they would get a hint by now." I laugh and nod my head in agreement.

"I'm going to grab a drink real fast." I yell back and she nods her head saying that she heard me. I dance through the crowd and make my way to the bar. The bartender comes over and asks me what I would like. "Can I just have water?"

"Sure thing." He reaches down and grabs a water bottle. "Here you go"

I smile at him politely and say, "thank you" I take a sip and enjoy the cool water run down my sore throat.

After a few minutes I managed to drink the whole bottle. I guess I was more thirsty than I thought. I throw out the bottle and walk onto the dance floor. I look around but I can't find Laine.

"Hey there sweetie." A voice says from behind me. I'm about to turn around but hand creep onto my hips. My wolf growls viciously but I manage to calm her slightly. "Lets dance."

"How about no." I try to take his hands off my hips but he tightens his grip. "Let go of me." I say sternly. I hear a laugh come from the guy.

"Hunny, it's just one dance." He says. My heart beat quickens and I start to freak out. I try to pull off his hands but he pulls me closer to him. I wiggle to get out of his grip but he won't let go.

"Please let go of-" I feel his hands detach from my hips and I let out a deep breath. I turn to see the man who was groping me being held by Bryce. He is holding the guy up by the collar of his shirt and his feet aren't touching the ground.

"Don't ever touch her again. If I even see you lay your eyes on her I will rip your throat out." Bryce hisses loudly through gridded teeth. I stare in shock as the guy nods. It takes Bryce a couple of seconds but he reluctantly puts the guy down, and he skids away into the crowd. Bryce turns and locks his dark brown eyes with my own. He keeps his distance and says, "Are you okay Kari?" He asks me. I nod my head.

"Yes, thanks Bryce. I'm sorry for the trouble." I say shyly. I can feel slight tension between us from me leaving him earlier. He still doesn't know why I just left... I want to tell him but it's embarrassing. I don't really want him to know what my wolf was thinking...

Flashes of my wolf's vision goes through my head and my body gets hot. I blush and try to think of something else. "So um... Are we okay? I just wanted to know if it was something I did earlier." He says. I snap out of my thoughts and blush even harder, I forgot Bryce was here.

Hmm, how should I put this so that way he doesn't know how skanky my wolf was being. "It wasn't anything you did Bryce. It's just I uh..." Damn there's no way around it. "I had to get control over my wolf... She was acting up." I say and look at my shoes. Bryce takes a couple steps over to me.

"You know if your wolf gets upset I can help calm her down. That's what mates are for." He says sweetly, I smile at the thought, to bad my wolf was sexually frustrated... I reach out and grab his hand.

"I know... It's not that she was upset. It was more like she wanted you too much..." I say. He gently lift my chin up and locks eyes with me. He raises his eyebrow and smirks.

"She wanted me, but was she the only one?" I blush even more if it's even possible. In all honesty I did want him. But it's too soon, I don't think I'm ready for it yet. I just need the right setting and the right frame of mind in order for that to happen...

"Lets go dance." I say and drag him to the middle of the floor. Once we get into the group of people I noticed Laine dancing with a guy. Wow that's weird I thought she didn't do that?

I approach her and start to dance with Bryce. I notice her wide smile as she sees me, so apparently she likes dancing with this guy. Laine leans over and yells, "Kari this is Dan." I smile up at the guy and wave. He gives me a head nod in return. "He's my mate Kari!" I widen my smile.

"Wow Laine that's so awesome! Tell me all about it later tonight!" I shout over the music. She nods and we allow our bodies to flow to the beat of the music surrounding us.

The night ends with Macy and Mimi passed out in the back of the limo and Laine and I had to watch them to make sure they don't throw up everywhere. When we get back to the pack house, I carry Macy and Laine takes Mimi while Gina just watches us do all the work. We get them to Laine's room and get them tucked into their sleeping bags.

Laine and I get dressed in our pajamas and Gina leaves she said that she "likes the comfort of her own bed". Since the other two are on the ground I got to sleep in the king sized bed with Laine.

"So Laine, tell me about Dan." I say to her with an excited yet sleepy smile.

She grins widely and says,"well you see, we were close childhood friends, but he moved away. Turns out he returned a couple of days ago and decided to go clubbing. He saw me from a distance and approached me saying, 'Laine is that you.' And as soon as I turned we locked eyes and we knew we were mates."

"Laine that's amazing!" I say then yawn after.

"I know! I'm so happy. I'm going to see him tomorrow so I just want to sleep so I can see him again!" She says like a three year old. I laugh I'm shut my eyes.

"Well we better go to bed then. Night Laine." I say sleepily.

"Night Kari."
