Tonight's NXT will finally settle the rivalry between Duke Atlas and The Finest, Kona Reeves. As both sides got two wins a piece, not counting that lone tag team victory, Kona will do anything by his power to come out on top and beat Duke. For Duke, this is a mere crusade for justice as he beats down Kona Reeves to make him see the error of his ways.

WWE NXT
Before the match
Kona is backstage as he is about to walk out into the ring has the camera on him as he goes with his monologue.

Kona: I'm the Finest for a reason. Not the nicest, or the fairest, but the Finest. It doesn't dictate that I have to fight fairly but just win. I am fine because I am the best. Apparently, Duke Atlas doesn't know that for all his pompous fake heroism. So tonight, I do him in and if I do win, I unmask that moron and prove that he is nothing more than someone who needs attention. Now let me go in so I can beat his head in.

Alicia: The following contest is scheduled for one fall making his way to the ring, from Honolulu, Hawaii, weighing in at 250 pounds, The Finest, Kona Reeves!

Kona goes in all cocky and confident as he had the last two victories against his opponent for tonight.

Wade: The finest has finally arrived and he will beat down that masked muppet in Duke Atlas!

Vic: Oh come on. He only won by dirty tricks

Wade: He's the finest as he said, not the nicest.

Backstage
McKenzie Mitchell is now with Duke Atlas as she has him by the interviewer's area

McKenzie: Duke, the deciding match is at hand. You two have had 2 victories against one another. Kona is dead set on beating you and ensuring you go away. Your thoughts?

Duke: My apologies, citizen. We are not properly introduced. 

McKenzie: Oh, sorry bout that. I'm McKenzie.

Duke: Citizen McKenzie. You need not worry for me. I have secured wins against Kona Reeves. Kona has been misled thinking that he can use unjust ways to get a just victory. This time, I will remind him that the ways of the just is the way to true victory. Now if you will excuse me, Justice calls.

Duke leaves as the first few notes of his entrance theme begin to play

Kayla: From Sekigahara, Japan, weighing in at 220 pounds, Duke Atlas!

Duke does his usual entrance as he tries to motivate himself to go up against an adversary he had faced 4 times, 5 counting the tag team match. In their 5th showdown, it remains to be seen which NXT superstar is the best between both of them.

Match Start
Duke stretches his hand out but Kona answers back with a Headbutt and hails a barrage of strikes on the masked superstar. The referee pushes Kona away as the Finest smugly backs off, giving Duke a chance to recover and regain himself.

Timeskip to the end of the match
As both gave their all in trying to beat down the other, Kona was now standing with Duke by the turnbuckle. Kona begins to charge at Duke for a Running Clothesline, but Duke rolls forward, evading the move. As Duke ends up on the other turnbuckle, he goes for a Hero Blaster, but Kona evades and catches him for a Uranage and covers him for only a two count.

Kona became enraged and punched Duke while grounded to the reprimand of the referee. As The Finest argues with the referee, Duke tries to regain himself and rolls to the outside of the ring. Kona stops his argument as he goes to the outside to find his opponent. 

As Kona cockily finds Duke, the masked man emerges from behind and hits a shotgun dropkick from behind, causing the Finest to launch into the steel steps. Duke then grabs and tosses Kona back into the ring as Duke goes to the top rope to attempt a Stardust Splash. 

Kona recovers slowly as he stops Duke and strikes his core until the masked man is prone and groggy on the top rope. Kona repositions Duke until he hits an Avalanche Samoan Drop. 

Kona retries to cover Duke.

ONE...TWO...

Duke raises a shoulder, upsetting Kona. Kona, at his wit's end goes to the middle rope and attempts at a Back Elbow Splash, but Duke was able to roll away, making Kona land on his elbow, causing pain. Duke runs toward Kona for a Blue Moon Blade

Duke then goes for the Destiny Draw

Duke covers Kona

ONE...TWO...

Kona kicks out and headbutts Duke to attempts for a Hawaiian Drop. As Kona has Duke on his shoulders, the bad arm from the failed elbow drop is causing pain and discomfort, being unable to hold on his adversary's legs. Duke strikes Kona's head, but it was not enough as he still hits the Hawaiian Drop swiftly.

Sensing the end, he covers Duke.

ONE...TWO...THR...

Duke raises his shoulder to a shocked Kona Reeves. Kona slowly lifts up Duke again for a Hawaiian Drop, but due to the damage from the arm, he was lifting the masked man by one arm. Duke squirms and strikes Kona's head with his elbows and knees. Kona's hold has loosened as Duke's position changed wherein he is now with his legs on Kona's shoulders. 

Duke lets go and thrust kicks Kona's core, causing the Hawaiian to bend down as the masked man goes for the Red Nova

Duke now goes to the top rope and does the Stardust Splash on his supine opponent.

ONE...TWO...THREE!

Duke finally had his arm raised as he finally was able to defeat the Finest, Kona Reeves. Duke knelt down but the referee helped him up as he was escorted to the back.

Io Shirai v. Mia Yim
Timeskip to the last minutes of the match
(A/N: As it happens in the below video)

Mia struck back and rained Io with a hail of strikes until the Joshi Judas is downed by a basement dropkick, which only garnered a near fall. As Mia then on the top rope attempts for a high risk move, Io intercepts and a striking exchange ensues. However, Io with slaps to the face of the HBIC, she brings down the both of them with a top rope Superplex. As Mia writhes in pain, Io eerily smiles. 

Io goes for the pin attempt, but Mia raises her arm quickly. Io, steps over Mia, but Mia traps Io's ankle. Io quickly escapes the grasp of the Head Baddie and rolls into kicking Mia in the head. Io goes to the corner and climbs to the top and hits her patented Moonsault on Mia for the three count.

Io revels in her victory as Mia writhes in both pain and loss.

Backstage
Io was still in a high after exacting revenge on Mia Yim as Duke walks by without his mask as Io was caught in surprise. 

Io: Nani? who are you?

Duke: Oh, sorry, Masami-chan. It's me. Duke, but without the mask on.

Io: ハンサム (handsome). *blushes* Oh, gomme..

Duke: I got that *chuckles* I see you got a win too?

Io: Hai, we are both on the rise.

Duke: Hopefully so. I do not know who is next for me but I sense someday, you will get an NXT Women's Championship match down the line.

Io: *pouts*

Duke: Oh, why?

Io: I hope so...Gommen...

Io walks away as Duke is confused. Kushida witnessed it and walked by Duke.

Duke: Kushida-san, what happened?

Kushida: Ah, I don't want it to come from me but I know of what happened to her and her fiancee.

Duke walked with Kushida as Kushida had let known what happened.
