After the events from last week's NXT, Duke Atlas will have to face both Kona Reeves and Riddick Moss in a tag team match. Luckily Duke has a chance to find an ally to go against his rival and foe. Despite the odds being stacked against him, the Masked Hero will not let what he perceives as injustice will persist.

WWE NXT
In the ring
Kona and Riddick were already in the ring after they made their entrance. Kona had the microphone as he began to speak to a booing Full Sail crowd.

Kona: You all are stupid for not knowing the finest things on life just like our victim for tonight who we have the special opportunity to pound his head in and give him a realization that heroes don't exist in this world. He crosses with the Finest, I will remove him from NXT as only the Finest survive and belong here!

Duke Atlas makes his way down the ring but Kona Reeves is less than impressed. Riddick takes up the disrespect by turning his back on the entrance ramp.

Duke has a microphone he gestures for his music to stop.

Duke: Riddick, Kona, you both have it wrong. In fact, I am here to make it right.

Kona: Then make it right by getting the hell out of here and letting us deal with our business the way we want to. In fact, better idea, get down here and lay down while we pin you and we win.

Duke: You still are sour after that loss and let that cloud your judgment. You are leading yourself down the wrong path citizen Ko...

Kona: SHUT UP!

Duke nods then continues

Duke: You said I had no allies to call on. Both of you as I have said, got it all wrong. Someone has joined the crusade to stop the both of you from your villainous ways.

Kona: Then show us oh *mocking does air quotation marks* Great Hero. Who joins your delusional cru...

Kona is cut off by the music

Kushida comes out and gives a fist bump to Duke as both men run to the ring. Kona and Riddick leave the ring as the Masked Hero and the Time Bender both strike poses before the match begins.

Kona Reeves and Riddick Moss v. Duke Atlas and Kushida
Match Start
Kona and Duke start as legal competitors for their respective teams. Kona tries to fake out Duke, but the masked hero does not flinch. Kona smirks then pushes Duke away. Duke was about to retaliate but Kona cowardly tags in Riddick as he strikes and pummels at Duke until the referee reprimands.

Timeskip to the end of the match
Kushida, now the legal man for their team, saved Duke but is dealing with Riddick Moss. Kona's sneak attacks have been taking its toll on the team of the former wrestlers from Japan. Riddick attempted for a Spinebuster, but Kushida counters it into an armbreaker. Riddick goes to the corner to tag in Kona, who runs in and hits a Headbutt on Kushida, knocking down the Time Splitter for a bit. 

Duke Atlas tries to go in for the save but the referee holds back the self-proclaimed hero. This led Kona to throw insults at Duke.

Kona: *stomps at Kushida* Here's what I think of you hero types. *stomps again* Go back to Japan! *stomps again* Justice my ass! *stomps more*

Duke calmly returns, but not until Riddick runs towards their corner and pulls Duke down the apron and hits a Spinebuster down on the outside. Riddick mockingly joins in. 

Riddick: Save yourself? You can't save anyone even you!

Kona at this point was being reprimanded by the referee as the reprimands still continue. Riddick runs back to the corner as Kona arrogantly backs away as Kushida slowly comes to. Riddick tags himself in as he begins to go for a clothesline towards Kushida.

Kushida rolls away as Riddick ends up hitting empty turnbuckle, to the shock of Kona. Kona is beside himself as Kushida hits him with a Jumping Enziguiri, knocking The Finest down the apron.

Deeming as not enough for punishment, Kushida goes on the apron to the outside and hits an Apron Cannonball on Kona before running back to the ring. Kona did try to get up, but was met with a Diving Body Splash from Duke from the top rope. 

Kushida re-enters the ring, for Riddick to hit a clothesline but with the bad arm. As RIddick tries to get blood flowing back into the bad arm, Kushida plays possum and gets back up by the turnbuckle by their corner. Kushida lets a hurrying Duke tag himself in, but stepping away from the apron as Riddick attempts for a shoulder tackle on a prone Kushida. 

At the last minute, Kushida rolls away, making RIddick make contact with the turnbuckle. Kushida hits Riddick, now crawling, with a Penalty Kick on the bad arm. Duke, now the legal man, goes to the top rope and hits a Stardust Slam on Riddick

Duke covers Riddick for the victory while Kona attempts to run in for the save, but saves himself and walks away.

ONE...TWO...THREE!

Duke won it for their team as the referee raised both Kushida's and his arm as the victors. The crowd and cheered while Riddick was nursing his arm and core.

After the match
Kushida was by himself until Kona assaulted him at the backstage area by a livid Kona Reeves. Kona began to aggressively assault the Time Splitter and rams him onto the crates. Kona then hits the Hawaiian Drop with Kushda landing core first on the crates. He stomped some more until Duke ran in to save his friend. Kona smugly leaves and shouts at Duke.

Kona: You'll get yours! You should have laid down when you had the chance!

Duke tends to his friend as medical personnel begin to take over as he helplessly watched his friend and earlier, tag team partner, be on the receiving end of an assault.

Middle of NXT
Cameras caught what seemed to be the end of an assault at the parking lot as Io Shirai was assaulting Candice LeRae with a kendo stick as the Joshi Judas kept at it with the strikes on an already downed Candice LeRae. 

Candice was being tended to as officials pry away the kendo stick from Io as the recently evil Genius of the Sky can only smirk at her own handiwork.

End of NXT
Io was still smirking even after the cameras went off. She was on cloud nine after her character had finally gotten a change in direction. What she was unaware of was that she ran into a worried unmasked Duke Atlas.

Io: Hey, who...are...

Duke: Oh, sorry Masami. 

Io: How do you know my name?

Duke: It's me. Duke Atlas...I mean Duke Castillo. I don't have my gear on now but now you see the real Duke.

Io: Hai. You worried about Kushida-kun?

Duke: Yes. That attack is not going to go by easily.

Io: *smirks* I can smell evil in you.

Duke: Iie.! (No) I won't let it. I am a hero of justice after all.

Io, with a mix of annoyance and adorability, shrugs it off and chuckles.

Io: Kawaii, Duke-kun *pats his head*

Duke blushes as he begins to leave.

Duke: Gomennasai! (Sorry)

Io was shocked as she didn't expect such a reaction. She only felt a longing but her fiance had not been answering her calls or messages.
