~Faye

My heartrate at the idea of meeting the siblings I never knew I had has spiked to unhealthy levels.

"Come, don't look nervous. They all want to meet you," Micah tells me warmly.

I'm nervous for a variety of reasons. Mainly because these people are immortals, and as much as they say I'm one too, it's hard to relate to anyone of them. Especially since they all look so foreign and beautiful. And who knows what powers are accompanying them. They could either be the same as mine, or completely different.

"I really can't stay long though," I tell both Sariah and Micah. I'm already anxious to be out of here as soon as possible. "I need to get back to T."

"That okay. I'm sure it won't take too long," Micah reassures me, despite my skepticism.

I notice Sariah edging toward the end of the room, looking at me expectantly. "Exactly. Should I tell them to come in?"

I'm not sure why I'm agreeing to this. I should meet them at some point though, considering they are the only family I have left. Not that my parents were truly my family. And after observing the relationship between Micah and Sariah, they seem close, even if I've known them for no more than ten minutes.

"Go ahead," I say nervously.

Sariah opens the door, peeking through. I hear her talk lowly to whoever is on the other side. The four siblings I'm yet to meet, if all of them are here. And by the amount, and the look of those who file out, it's confirmed that I'm meeting them all today. That doesn't help the nerves.

One of them approaches me immediately, while the other three hangs back. He immediately gives off a very warm vibe, despite the rather physically frosty look about him.

"Finally, I'm glad we get to meet you Faye," he says, smiling brightly. "I'm Cassian. Or as the Moon refers to me, Kindness."

It makes sense simply from the vibe he gives off. He does however, from his looks alone, he seems as though he would live in a realm of snow, and perhaps create is. He's rather tall and lankly, covering his limbs with a thick black coat made from some animal. His hair is unkempt and shaggy, long around the top, tumbling across his forehead in a stark white mess. And his eyes. Like ice carved into perfect circle irises.

"Nice to meet you. I won't have to meet the Moon, will I?" I clarify. I'm not exactly sure how I could meet an entire entity, but however that may work, I want to avoid it.

Cassian frowns, tainting his immaculate forehead with creases. "No, not yet."

"Perhaps I should introduce you to our other siblings," Sariah suddenly cuts in, pulling me away from Cassian. I stare at the three staring right back at me. Each as different as the other. "Some of them aren't so great with greetings."

Sariah points to the only other female in the bunch. She looks stunning. Her dark is pulled right back away from her face, cascading down her back. She stands tall, looking very proper and put together. Her ears and neck are adorned with stunning silver jewelry, like nothing I have ever seen before. And staring at her eyes are like staring back at mine. That same familiar green.

"This is Asya, or Patience. She prefers to listen at the best of times, rather than talk," Sariah tells me.

"Nice to meet you," I say softly. She nods her greeting, rather than opening her mouth.

"I can introduce myself," one of the males says, pulling away to stands in front of me. He holds his hand out, waiting for me to take it in a shake. I do so apprehensively. "I'm Tai...Or Charity, although no one has called me that in a long while."

As I meet each brother, and each sister, it becomes harder to imagine that they are related to me. Tai doesn't look as warm as the other too. Perhaps it's those deep-set, steely grey that stare back at me. He is rather strange looking, too. As handsome as he may seem to many, with that smooth violet hair, and rather prominent jawline, I can see scars snaking up from the collar of his shirt, only fading away until they reach under his chin,

"And as one to never be shown up by our darling brother, I shall introduce myself too. I'm Tanith. Or Chasity," the last one says.

The last brother to meet seems very soft and mellow, following his namesake perfectly. His most prominent feature that I notice immediately is because of his shirt sleeves not existing. All up his arms are swirling tattoos. Despite them, and the shadowy designs they present, he still seems very soft and gentle.

His eyes are like molten honey, and his swept back hair is a beautiful woodland brown.

I rub the back of my neck. "These are a lot of names to remember."

"We don't expect you to remember them all now," Tai says, raising his eyebrow at me as if it's foolish to think I should. "We just hope you get along well with us."

"She will," Sariah says, almost too quickly.

"Where are we right now?" I decide to ask. "The Moon?"

I quite like Sariah's residence. I'm not sure what is beyond the door, but it seems lavish and probably as big as I assume. The Moon is large, which it would have to be to fit all these immortals.

"Indeed, we all live here," Micah says. "Don't worry, we don't expect you to move here too."

I frown. I hadn't thought of that. What if they did? I have a Pack to lead, and people who need me. And what about T? Now that I have my mate, I don't want to have to leave him again. I'm already not sure if he is even alive right now. I don't think I could live up here anyway. I don't know what it is like, but this is where some of the evilest souls reside.

"Why can't she move here? We have all accepted a life away from the mortal and immortal lands," Tai questions to the group. No one says anything for a moment.

"Aren't you meant to be Charity? She rules there, obviously," Sariah says, dismissing him.

"Why can't you go to the mortal lands?"

"We can visit, however, we decided none of us should live there. We wouldn't fit in for a start," Tanith explains. Of course not. I'm becoming more accustomed to the looks of the immortals, and I can't stop staring at all of them.

I decide to delve further. "Do you all have mates?"

Everyone goes quiet, and for a moment, no one says anything at all. I shift uncomfortably. Clearly, I have mentioned something that is a soft subject for them all, but the way some frown, and others cast their gazes to the ground.

"Some of us do, yes," Asya cuts in, saving me from the deafening silence.

"Did I say something wrong?"

"No, of course not," Sariah says, coming to stand beside me. "We are very happy you have come here, Faye. Especially when your mate is in danger, and you still wanted to meet us. It does mean a lot."

"Can I go back yet?" I ask. As much as I can find myself liking all my new siblings, t is my main focus. Who knows what Time has done with him. I just hope it wasn't anything that includes ending his life. "As much as I would like to stay, I can't. Time could have done something to his body."

Micah touches my arm, getting my attention. "We can help you. We will always help family."

"Time is surely done with his body now. He was using him to get revenge and now that it has been had, who knows what has happened," I explain to them all, noticing their confused expressions when I first mentioned it. Hearing the name Time seems to trigger an understanding in all of them.

"It's okay Faye. We will get him back, and he will be just fine," Sariah comforts me.

Something seems to be caught in Micah's train of thought. "I'll get him. He knows not to question me anymore."

That I believe. Micah got me out of there, so I don't doubt he would be able to do the same with T.

"I'll come with you," Tai adds.

You don't-"

Before I can say anything, both of them vanish right in front of my eyes. I stumble back a bit, surprised. I couldn't even say a word to stop them. My heart slightly warms at how open they were to help me. I suppose that is the benefit of having Virtues as siblings.

"You couldn't convince them to stay," Sariah tells me, a soft smile on her face. "They will get him back."

They did bring him back. Around an hour later. And not in the way I wanted him.

T was limp in Tai's arms when they arrived. There were no physical marks on him anywhere, which I immediately check for. He's been knocked unconscious, though. No matter how much I shake him, and call his name in his ear, he doesn't so much as stir.

"He doesn't look physically sick, but something has happened to him," I tell them, resting my head on his chest. I can't hear his heartbeat. I pull away, unsure of if I should cry, or scream.

Asya suddenly steps forward, kneeling beside me. I glance at her, unsure of what she is planning.

"I have healing powers," she breathes. "Step back."

Micah pulls me up and away from my mate, much to my dismay. Because if Asya can't bring him back, I don't know what I'll do."
